Super sĂ©jour dans cet appartement istanbuliote, situĂ© Ă  environ 5 minutes Ă  pied de la grande esplanade oĂč se trouvent la MosquĂ©e Bleue ainsi que Sainte-Sophie. Ugur a Ă©tĂ© prĂ©sent du dĂ©but Ă  la fin, en toute discrĂ©tion, pour rĂ©pondre Ă  nos besoins. L’appartement est propre et spacieux ; il convient parfaitement Ă  une petite famille. Une petite supĂ©rette se trouve Ă©galement devant l’immeuble pour les besoins de premiĂšre nĂ©cessitĂ©, Mohamed et ses cousins sont trĂšs accueillants et honnĂȘtes.En bref, vous pouvez y sĂ©journer les yeux fermĂ©s !! Nous avons hĂąte d’y retourner !

Yuksel helped arrange transportation to and from the airport - a big help. He was there to greet us and give us the lie of the land. Always reachable for follow-up questions via the VRBO chat email.The apartment was fine and in a great location, close to any number of restaurants, cafes and a lot of the city's tourist sites. Importantly, also close to a tram line. Note: before leaving, download and print out the tram and subway maps. That's a huge help.

Fantastic Stay!

We loved this apartment and the location. It was very close to the Blue Mosque and other main attractions while feeling like it was in a local neighborhood. There is a great little market directly across the street that we ran to frequently for the basics. We were so busy that we didn't make much use of the rooftop terrace, but it was lovely. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable.

Month in Sultanahmet

The pick up from the airport was unclear and difficult and took me over 2 1/2 hours to get there from time I landed, this could have been much better & explained more clearly, it was really stressful and confusing when you’re so tired
 Once at the apt. Ugur was there and he was fantastic, from the start to end of stay. A wonderful host, answered texts quickly, helped us with recommendations, gave us rides to airport, and just overall was truly wonderful! The apt. was great-clean & beautiful. It was pricey for our budget, so I was disappointed to see it was street level ground floor and couldn’t open window or even drapes in bedroom as people were literally on the other side of glass until late at night, and our view from balcony is not what is pictured, that must be a higher up apt. That being said, everything else was wonderful. We rented it for a month and it was the perfect peaceful location in the heart of busy Sultanahmet, easy to walk everywhere, it was our quiet little sanctuary (except 4:30 am call to prayer very loud right outside window) Rooftop view was stunning and we went up there most nights. Even with minor complaints I still rate 5 stars as overall the place was so wonderful and just what we needed. Full kitchen and laundry were great which we used often. Also, Ugur was so friendly & dependable, he really made our stay easy and wonderful, so grateful. We are missing our Sultanahmet apartment already and hope to be back one day! Thank you!

Great stay!

Really loved the apartment and location. We were greeted when we arrived and given information regarding how to get around and recommended bookings. We also were able to set up transportation from and to the airport which was very helpful. The apartment was well appointed and had a nice comfortable bed. We would definitely recommend this place!

Awesome location and great host!

The location is superb, everything is a walking distance! Good food all around and even has a small store just across for dairy, bread etc. Ugur, the host, was very gracious. Gave us a drop to the airport and was always available to help. I dont know when this man sleeps ! There are mosques close by from where you can hear the prayer call but it wasnt to a level where it disturbed our sleep or day in anyway. Great place to stay, two thumbs up!

Istanbul in 3 days

No problems whatsoever. So accommodating picked up from Port and dropped off at Istanbul airport. During our stay showed us important things like the grocery store and coffee shop nearby. The only thing I will say is that you need to bring earplugs for the sunrise call to prayer as the loudspeakers are just down the street. Arranged a tour of all the best things in Istanbul and we had a tour guide to ourselves. Zel was amazing! Thanks so much for our stay.

Great location and great host

Our host Ugur was wonderful. He greeted us at the apartment with fresh fruit, a bootle of wine, maps and even had a SIM card available for us to buy should we need it. He arranged transportation to and from the airport making our stay worry free. There was even the offer of daily cleaning at no extra cost. The apartment was comfy and the roof top deck offered amazing views. The location was great with a small food market three steps across the street and main tourist sites such as the grand bazaar less than a 15 minute walk away.

Perfect Apartment in the Heart of Istanbul (Sultanahmet)

Wow! When I return to Istanbul, my husband and I are definitely staying here again! The apartment is spotless and extremely comfortable for long stays (we stayed 9 nights). The bathroom is spacious, well-lit, and warm (important in the winter!); the towel-warming rack is much appreciated. The kitchen was perfect for preparing simple dinners and was actually supplied well (unlike many other apartments we've rented) with pots, pans, cooking utensils, a variety of dishes and cups, and quality silverware. There's a toaster and electric kettle as well which we used a lot. The washing machine worked great, and clothes dried quickly on the radiators or on the heated rack in the bathroom. The two couches were both very comfortable (my husband even slept on one when the Islamic call to prayer was too loud in the bedroom, and he said it was very comfortable). The only thing - and you can't avoid this in Istanbul - is that the morning prayer at dawn is unavoidable and LOUD even with closed windows and doors. Not the fault of the apartment. The balcony overlooking the courtyard full of green plants was lovely, and I really appreciated the green plants in the living room, too! It was a very cozy and comfortable apartment. Ugur, who was our point of contact, was wonderful and very responsive. The cleaning lady was very sweet and stopped by every other day, so the apartment stayed immaculate. Plus, the location cannot be beat! It was so close to everything that we walked everywhere, even in the snow and rain. It's unusual to find such a NICE, and CLEAN, and spacious apartment right in the heart of everything - but this apartment is it! Highly recommend!

Exactly the experience i wanted

My wife and I were in Istanbul to get married, Yuksel was so caring and helped with many things including the booking of a nice dinner cruise. My wife Kamila and I really enjoyed the location as its close to everything and the apartment was just perfect for our needs.

Delightful stay in Istanbul

We really enjoyed the four nights we stayed here. The property is within easy walking distance of all the Old Town attractions and the suite we were in was very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the top floor balcony which provides a very beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. There are also a number of convenience stores and little restaurants nearby. One of the best parts of our experience was the wonderful hospitality shown to us by Urgur who managed the property and helped us with every little thing we needed. He arranged for our pickup and return to the airport which greatly helped in our arrival and departure as well as providing us with detailed advice on the sites and things to do. He checked in with us almost daily to ensure we were comfortable and arranged several of the tours that we wanted to go on including transportation. Overall, we loved Istanbul and its wonderful history, culture, beauty and people.

Istanbul Visit

This was a good property and well managed. We had one very small problem but this was resolved within the hour. Özlem Karadeniz Pide Kebap Salonu is a cheap and cheerful kebab house 3 minuntes walk away in Peykhani Cd. The guy always smiles and the bill is exactly as indicated from the menu - unlike other places where hidden costs always seemed to appear!

Perfect location in Istanbul

We stayed for 6 days at the Amedros Home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is within walking distance to everything. The owner organized transportation to and from the airport and set us up for a dinner cruise on the Bosphorus which was delightful.The apartment has everything you need and the balcony and rooftop terrace are wonderful. I would highly recommend this apartment for a visit to Istanbul.

UNESCO tour of Turkey starts here In Istanbul

We were here 10 days. They organized our pick up at our he new airport and that went well The apartment is Well located with lots of places to eat around and even on the same street Try Ozzi pizza and pasta restaurant just on the corner down the street to the right Tiny shop across the street for fruit and drinks and another tiny shop to the left for bread and cheese The patio upstairs view was grand We were given a metro pass and once we learned how to load money on it we felt like pros as we used the the tram and metro lines everywhere Our English speaking guide picked us up next door at a small hotel as the hotel had an accessible lobby. We used Amber Travel for setting up a personal tour package and guides all throughout Turkey as we are here for 5 weeks

Great Appartment

Loved our four night stay in Istanbul. This is a great, comfortable, clean and centrally located apartment in town. Very safe and within minutes of walking to many sites and great restaurants. The kitchen is large and well organized with everything we needed to make a few meals. It even has a cloth washer, which we did use. Our host was exceptional. Easy to communicate with, giving us many tips about the city. He made us feel very welcomed. We loved having our own porch and a roof top patio with tea, coffee and a beautiful view. We stayed there for 5 nights in August summer- me, my wife & our 11 year old daughter: The location is unbeatable. We were very pleased with the cleanliness, the every 2 days cleaning, the amenities & the comfort. The assistance we got from Yuksel doubled the joy of our stay. Although the AC broke before our first day, Yuksel offered us the lower unit till it is repaired & it was replaced with a new one within 48 hours. He did a great job :) & made us feel at ease & comfortable. Special Thank You for him ... If we come back again, this is the place where we will stay & which I will highly recommend to any of my friends. We love you & love your place

Amazing location and accommodating hosts

This is one of the best places that you can stay in Istanbul. The location can not be beat. You are in the center of old town Istanbul and a 2 min walk from the hippodrome/blue mosque. The host is extremely knowledgeable about the city and an excellent resource for places to go, restaurant recommendations, and general advice to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Our host arranged transportation to and from the airport as well as making sure that we were well taken care of during our stay. Make sure that you spend at least one evening up on the terrace watching the sunset. An excellent place to stay for 1-4 people in the heart of Istanbul.
