We pride ourselves on cleanliness and friendliness so thank you for saying so! We also encourage our guests to reach out to us for any issues that may arise during their stays, as we live on premises and desire for our guests to have the ultimate comfort experience. We actually do have an in window air conditioning unit that could have been placed in the window, if we had been alerted to the issue. We have found most of our guests prefer the fresh cool night breezes though the open window, as night time temperatures even in summer are between 55 and 60 degrees. And the screen would need to be removed for the AC to be placed, thereby hampering this. So for any future guests, please alert us of any issues with your stay ( no matter how big or small) and allow us to rectify the situation before leaving negative feedback, or anything less than a 5 star review. As for the full size bed, yes, unfortunately there’s nothing we could have done. We encourage guests to read our complete listing and ask questions if something isn’t clear, before booking. We have made every effort to create a listing that is as accurate as possible and it does list the beds as “full size”. Thanks for staying with us!

We regret the unfortunate situation with the oven, and wish we had been alerted about the issue. We let every guest know when they arrive, that if there is anything we can do to make their stay more enjoyable, or if there are any issues, to please let us know. It is unfortunate we were not given the opportunity to remedy the issue while the guests were staying with us. The battery in the alarm simply needed to be changed. The issue has been resolved.

TV has been upgraded with a brand new sound bar system. As always, it is our utmost desire that our guests have the most comfortable and enjoyable stay possible and therefore respond to every issue in a timely manner. It is unfortunate we were not made aware that there still continued to be an issue with the TV. We regret not being given the opportunity to remedy the situation while our guest was still checked in.

Thank you for the nice compliments about the unit. We go out of our way to ensure our rentals are clean, quiet and comfortable. Our 5 years worth of reviews speak for themselves in that regard. We urge anyone considering ours or any other rentals to read the listing thoroughly and ask any questions before booking. There is nothing deceitful about it. It clearly states the unit is the 2nd floor, and is correctly listed as the entire unit, no shared spaces. Apologies that you were clearly incensed by the request that texting be the main form of communication. We are often outside of wifi and communication through the app is not always very reliable outside of wifi. Texting is best. Especially when/if an emergency comes up or there are questions about the rental. We like to respond in as timely a fashion as possible and guests appreciate that about us. We are glad there were no issues that arose throughout your stay with us.
