Escapade de charme à La Jolla Shores

Cette charmante maison est à quelques pas de la belle plage de La Jolla Shores, du restaurant primé Marine Room, de Scripps Pier et du village de La Jolla Shores avec toutes sortes de restaurants - italiens, mexicains, sushis - ainsi que de la location de plage et magasins de détail, marchés et cafés. Les vacanciers peuvent faire de la plongée avec tuba et voir une vie marine incroyable, apprendre à surfer, faire du boogie board, du kayak de mer dans les grottes, nager, prendre un bain de soleil, faire un barbecue, jouer au frisbee à quelques minutes de la maison.

Il y a trois chambres à coucher, deux salles de bain, un salon, une salle à manger, un salon et un bureau avec du carrelage, du bois franc et de la moquette partout. Deux chambres ont des lits queen size et la troisième chambre a deux lits jumeaux extra longs et une mezzanine pouvant accueillir une personne. Il y a une magnifique cour arrière avec une cuisine extérieure et un coin salon - parfait pour ceux qui aiment faire un barbecue ou s'asseoir à l'extérieur avec un verre de vin.

La maison a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin - Internet sans fil, lecteur DVD, planches de bodyboard, chaises et serviettes de plage, jouets, chaise haute, pack n 'play pour les petits enfants, et bien plus encore.

A proximité se trouvent le célèbre La Jolla Playhouse, Scripps Aquarium, UCSD, Torrey Pines Golf Course, Del Mar Horse Racing Track, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Lego land, Balboa Park, 'Petco Park' baseball field, San Diego Airport, Coronado L'île et le Mexique et un certain nombre de plages au choix. Également à proximité est le shopping et plus de restaurants dans le centre-ville de La Jolla (moins d'un mile de la maison).

Happy to have found a perfectly located home to stay in La Jolla. The home was spacious for our family of 5 and provided all we needed for our week stay. Enjoyed the easy walk to our favorite restaurants and the beach. The host was responsive and helpful with any questions. Will happily book again and highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Very convenient to La Jolla restaurants and regional destinations.

Loved the uniqueness of the house and close proximity to the beach, which we walked to, as well as to the cave and Cove.We’d buy it if it was available, :)!!

Best host, best rental home ever

My family and I always use Vrbo for our rental vacation but this time the host Renee was so nice and responsive that make our stay even better. The house is comfortable and it’s close to the beach walking. They have everything you could need and even more. We really enjoyed our stay at La Jolla in this magnificent home.

We had a nice time, aside from a spider infestation that was not for the faint of heart. I suspect the home hadn't been rented for a bit prior to our arrival. Management was responsive and helped us this issue and others promptly. Great location, walkable to the beach, but a little tricky to get to when driving because it's located on a very busy street, near a signal and across from a median. As a heads up for parents with young children -- the blinds in the bedrooms are not blackout, so our children woke up at the crack of dawn. But overall, our stay was lovely.

Everything at this place was great the location, the yard and the owners had everthing you needed as far as amenities go! even stocked shampoo and soap! the beds were very comfy as well! I just wish we knew about all of the remodeling going in next door...lots if noise first thing in the am. but overall a great find!

Comfortable Stay - Great Hosts

Overall everything was great. AC worked great. Comfortable beds, excellent grill, back yard, spacious living room. The location of the turn-off of Torre Pines can be loud with police sirens and traffic in general. However, with the timing of the traffic lights, is NOT difficult to get out of the driveway. I would rent this house again.

La Jolla was amazing

Great location of property( even though it is a busy street) House itself is super dated, and needs better cleanliness ( cobwebs in dining room), many switches do not work, Television and furniture is really old), yet this house has a lot of old world charm and yard has a lot of character with amazing trees. Also thoughtful stocking of beach towels, chairs. Kitchen has adequate but minimal utensils etc. Overall a decent stay in a wonderful city ..

Hi Sridhar, we are glad you enjoyed your stay overall. To be able to easily walk to one of the most desirable family beaches in San Diego is greatly appreciated by our guests, especially at the price we offered the home. We had a temporary cleaning company clean the home prior to your stay and they probably didnt see the cobwebs as we have high ceilings. Well be sure to address it moving forward. Soon after your stay, we blocked off the calendar to remodel the majority of the home including the living room/dining room, all bedrooms and bathroom, which will be available in June 2022. We look forward to sharing the upgrades with future guests. Thanks again.

Beautiful house, with room for our whole family. Large family room w/ theater style TV, was perfect after kayaking & Surfing from the beach down the street. Early breakfast out on lush patio before heading out for deep sea fishing- could have used outdoor kitchen to grill fish. Shockingly, it was huge dining room we used for playing games, planning next day activities and meals. Walked down to shops, restaurants and used wagon & Beach toys at the beach. House has ample beds in 3 bdrm, 2 baths, and a separate dining room! Starbucks is across the street! New AC, kitchen had everything! We will definitely stay here again - and so should you.

Home away from home

Great location, great backyard, lots of space for kids to play, short walk to the beach and shops, restaurants. Even though the house is on a busy crossroads it was very quiet. Outside shower worked well after a long day on the beach, also had plenty of beach amenities to use. We will definitely come back

Nice Location

While a quick dusting and vacuuming for spiders and cobwebs would have made my daughters' and wife's first impression much better, we enjoyed our stay. I suggested perhaps this is just the nature of the area with year-round warm weather lots of mature vegetation nearby. A little initial work and clean-up took care of the problem. The property appeared aged compared to what I could see in the photos but was still completely functional. The tiny loft was difficult to access and had the most spiders and webs, so nobody stayed up there. The property location is very nice, with a beautiful backyard and large BBQ grill, which worked well. The driveway is steep, exits onto a busy road, and is only accessible from one direction but was not a problem once we learned how to handle it and local drivers were polite when traffic was heavy and needed in or out of the driveway. The nearest walking access to the beach just south of the Marine Room restaurant was around 10 minutes away but inaccessible around high tide. The other beach access to the north was a bit further since it requires going all the way around the private beach and tennis club down Avenida De La Playa. Both walks were very nice. The outdoor shower is an awesome feature and the shed full of beach accessories is a terrific amenity. This property met the needs of our large family very well with the multiple bathrooms, spacious living area, large dining table and great back patio. Overall, this property was very good for our visit to La Jolla Cove, La Jolla Shores and surrounding area.

Perfect Vacation House.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this property. The location was convenient to either walk to the beach or the shops in La Jolla Shores, and getting on and off the freeway. The house was perfect - it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Even though it is close to the main road - the property dips down low and is very quiet at night. We were sad to leave. The owner was very accessible and extremely accommodating. We hope to be back soon.

Perfect getaway

We recently returned from a week long stay at La Jolla Shores. It was the perfect getaway and escape from the Arizona heat. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. We even ate most meals at the house and found everything we needed to prepare and cook everything. The back yard was perfect to enjoy the cool weather, BBQ, and we ate most of our dinners outside. The location of the house was also great for us. We walked everywhere. We walked to the beach, to restaurants, to the farmers market on Sunday, the Coast Trail, etc. In fact we parked the car in the driveway when we arrived and did not use it again until we left a week later! The owner(and her daughter) were great. They were so easy to deal with and provided some great information about the area and things to do. I would definitely recommend this property and will stay here again when I return to San Diego.

Loved every minute

We took our children and grandchildren. The house was perfect for all of us and a very short walk to the beach. We even extended our stay a couple of days. We will do this again. Thank you to the owners for being so easy to work with.

Nice home and backyard...steep short driveway!

Was not told renovations were going on, picture of driveway on website appears to be long and level...very steep and not easy to access with wheelchairs or walkers! Backing out of driveway into traffic proved to be challenging also! Nice home overall, but for those with elderly or mobile challenged, was a little difficult!

Thank you for your feedback regarding our home. The photos we include accurately describe the driveway. We have not received these comments before especially given the home is single story. This was my childhood home and my grandmother who required a walker lived with my parents for several years. The carport parking space is on the same level as the home making it easier for those with mobility issues to get in and out of the car. However, with that said, we haven't marked the home on the VRBO website as accessible for people with disabilities. The property also has a large gravel area out in front so that you're able to back into it rather than the street. Hope that helps future guests more accurately understand the features of the home.

Vacation at 7928 LaJolla Shores

This property accommodated my family of 5 adults and 2 toddlers very nicely. The private back yard was very nice to relax in and let the children run in. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots and pans. There were plenty of towels for all of us. The beach is only a very short 10 minute walk. We were able to bring beach toys from the house to the beach. The sunsets were so beautiful.

Great location! Perfect for family gathering!

We came here for thanksgiving with the family - 5 adults and one toddler. While the house is a bit older, The location is great - close to the beach and downtown La Jolla. Had large dining room and family room along with great outdoor area. One of the bathrooms was on the smaller side so we only used it as a half bath. Perfect for a family gathering.

Perfect home for our beach vacation

The home had all of the essentials for our week beach vacation. The backyard was perfect for grilling and relaxing after long days at the beach. We enjoyed everything about it this stay. Easy 15 minute walk to the beach, playground and many restaurants. The owners were very responsive if we had questions!!! No complaints
