Most amazing house and holiday

Returning after 3 weeks in the most beautiful house, we can only give this house our warmest recommendation. Everything is as described and after a perfect and fast communication with Sue, we were welcomed my Marina and Pablo, who handed over the Keys and showed us the house. They were super nice and very helpful. Easy communication around arrival and departure, and they came by every week to clean the pool. We were 2 adults and 2 +18 children and our Old English Bulldog. The main beaches does not allow dogs, but Sue had kindly left behind a map with suggested walks in the area with some coves, where we took our dog in the monings. In the middle week our children ‘s friends came to stay with us for 1 week, but being 6 people in the house is no problem, as there is so much space. The area in the back of the house with the barbecue is perfect for evening coziness and the balcony on top of the house which all 3 sleeping rooms could access offered a sceenic view of the Ocean and mountains. The main balcony facing the pool was enjoyed many hours during the day as it was providing shade from the Sun. Our children enjoyed the huge pool which easily accomodated a lot of different pool gear like floaties. From this house to the Castle it took approximately 25 minutes to walk and 10 eur to take a taxi back. We also rented a boat at the Marina one day for 2 hours for EUR 145, which was fantastic. We recommend a walk to the lighthouse, Torre Badum, it is a walk for around 2 km from the road. It is very uphill but the view from the lighthouse and the Nature park that surrounds it, is just fantastic. The area around the Castle has many bars and restaurants with a fantastic view and many small shops. Peniscola city has a variety of many great restaurants and in particular we can recommend the Italian Tagliatella where we had dinner multiple times and also the Mandarina Beach Club which has different menus and fusion food. The main beaches are beautiful and perfect for families with smaller children as they are very shallow. All in all a perfect holiday, and a house that we would love to return to.

Sue and Jamie absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. 5 star personal service as they live nearby so are there to meet and great and for any queries if needed (we didn't but nice to know they were there!).The villa itself is even better than it looks in the photos, which look great anyway, loads of space, very well appointed, 3 good sized bedrooms all with upper terrace access/sea views, and the air conditioning is probably the best we've ever had. Absolutely everything you need in the kitchen, and elsewhere, pool and pool area fantastic with lots of seating and loungers everywhere you needed them. Outside table on the mid level great for meals/sitting out any time of day. Lovely views also.Couldn't ask for any more and would highly recommend to anyone. UK TV useful for catching up on world cup/test match also.Peniscola itself is lovely - a real treat to stroll around the streets and take advantage of the many bars/restaurants etc...and many lovely beaches in the area. Weather was hot so we didn't do as much exploring further afield as we planned, preferring to utilise the lovely villa and pool, and a bit of beach time also.....Thank you Sue and Jamie for a lovely stay and sharing your villa.

Repetiremos!
