nice house

Nice house. About 15 minutes by foot to the lake. Cheap price, enough space for 7 persons. We did the self check in and it was super easy. There are no air conditions downstairs, so in the bedroom below it was a bit hot.

This was my second time to Lake Garda and I learned from my first visit what I needed in a house to make the trip successful. I chose this home for its walkability, 10 min to the train station and 12 min to the center of Desenzano. It is so convenient to be able to just walk out the door instead of having to drive and find parking. It’s also five minutes from pizza and other restaurants, 10 from groceries . The second thing I needed was secure off street parking for two cars. I needed sleeping space for seven people. This is where it gets a little disappointing. Although it is technically large enough, the lower basement level is less than ideal. We put three teenaged girls down stairs and they didn’t mind but the musty basement smell is overwhelming. I have a damp basement at home so I know how simple it is to fix. They need to put a dehumidifier downstairs that runs constantly. The air conditioning gets too cold to be on all the time but as soon as it goes off the smell rises up. Also the steps to the basement need some upgrading. Painted concrete doesn’t add to the warmth and comfort of the area. For less than 1000 the basement area could be made into a more comfortable space . My only other problem is that the AC units in the kitchen and living room did not get cold. Only the AC in the bedrooms worked so we bought a fan to blow the air around the house. I hope they left it in the house. It was very helpful. Overall we enjoyed the house very much. It’s very convenient.

Great time in Desansano

Our family had a great time at Desansanoloft. It was very spacious for our group. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is 12 min walk to a beautiful train station building. We used trains to go to Milan, Verona and Venice. The little corner store provided fresh groceries for our needs. We used Lidl store which is 5 min away by car, for bigger grocery shopping. The town center and the lakefront are in the walking distance (15 min) also. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Local ferry took us to a very pretty town of Sirmione. We also used city beaches, where water shoes are helpful because of the small stones rather than sand. The area is safe and both of our cars fited in the gate secured driveway. The garden is pleasant in the evening but you do need mosquito spray. Kids enjoyed the above ground pool. We liked the laundry machine as we were in continuing our Italian adventure for another week. It was very hot during our stay and the AC did a decent job but it is not a modern system many Americans are used to. We loved our stay and would recommend the location for families groups of adults.

Perfeckt

Unsere Gruppe von 7 Personen hatte die Gelegenheit, in einer charmanten Einzelvilla am Gardasee zu übernachten, und ich muss sagen, dass die Erfahrung absolut fantastisch war. Der gepflegte Garten und das erfrischende Schwimmbad waren zweifellos die Hauptstärken, zusammen mit dem Grill im Freien und dem privaten Parkplatz, die unseren Aufenthalt viel angenehmer und komfortabler machten. Das Haus wurde komplett umgebaut, was bedeutet, dass alles neu, sauber und funktional war. Ich kann diese Villetta jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der einen erholsamen und unvergesslichen Urlaub am Gardasee verbringen möchte. -

Mooi huis met veilige parking. Super goed gelegen.

Zeer ruime en goed gelegen woning. Rustige ligging niet ver van het centrum. Ruime en veilige parkeergelegenheid bij het huis. Woning was niet correct voorbereid. Problemen met wifi en verwarming. Agentschap heeft dit zeer goed opgelost, maar dit wil je liever vermijden op vakantie. Verder een zeer fijne vakantie gehad.

Desenzanoloft: PALM GARDA BEACH kann ich gut weiterempfehlen :)

Die Lage ist super zentral und schön gelegen. Die Unterkunft bringt alles mit für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Geschirr in der Küche war leider nicht ganz sauber. Ansonsten alles gut.

A pleasant stay.

The garden, quiet neighborhood, Spacious rooms, 10 min walk from lake.The beds comfortable to sleep, good washing machine for dishes, the kitchen is fully equipped. Internet connection. It took us a lot of time to figure how to keep the gas on for the fire in the kitchen. Air conditioner makes a funny sound at 3-4 in the morning. Most of the closest where full of smelly clothes/blankets. The room downstairs needs improvement has a lot of humidity and a bad smell. We split the bill of the accommodation but it felt unfair for those who slept downstairs. This are all things to be improved and a head up for the mosquito army :)) If not everything was great.

Aufenthalt zu 8t

Der Grillplatz hinter dem Haus ist sehr schön. Das Haus ist ordentlich und alles was man so braucht ist zu finden. Wir waren zu 8t und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Ein zusätzlicher Haustürschlüssel wäre sehr praktisch.

Weekend tra amici

La disposizione degli spazi è ottima, così come tutti i servizi a disposizione. Nonostante la struttura non sia recente ha davvero tutto e in davvero buone condizioni. L'area del giardino sul retro con la possibilità di fare un barbecue è davvero un plus. Specificare il doppio sistema di riscaldamento a gas nel piano inferiore ( dove nel bagno si sente un po' troppo l'odore a gas, non se magari c'è una perdita) e quello superiore con l'uso del termostato.
