Villa 4 étoiles, avec une vue imprenable sur la station balnéaire de Podgora, la mer, les ßles et les montagnes. Tree chambres, trois salles de bains. Situé dans le vieux village, dans un endroit calme, entouré d'oliviers, de figuiers et de vignes. Magnifiques couchers de soleil sur la mer Adriatique bleue. Court de tennis privé, piscine, mini-golf. Tous les espaces de vie et de sommeil sont climatisés. Grande terrasse avec piscine, avec cinq chaises longues. Court de tennis est également éclairé, pour jouer de nuit.

Amazing Sunsets

Overall a great stay. Some issues with bathroom and power but owner attended to quickly. The facilities of the pool, tennis court and mini golf kept my teenagers busy while wife and I loved the sunsets. Just a friendly note to maybe provide more amenities but otherwise great stay and owner and his wife are wonderful people.

Breathtaking views.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Emilia. Michaela and Stephen are such nice hosts. A car is probably needed, because there is some distance to the nearest supermarket, but if you have a car, then you can reach a number of large supermarkets within 15 minutes and the parking facilities to the villa are excellent. The distance to the beach by car is a bit shorter. The wifi was not perfect, but we mostly used our data on our mobils and Michaela and Stephen would look in to an upgrade for future stays. Because of the views and the pool we just spend most of our holiday at villa. Big recommendation.

TOP Urlaub

Die wunderschöne Villa mit dem atemberaubenden Blick ĂŒber die Bucht von Podgora und die gegenĂŒberliegenden Inseln mit weltklassigen SonnenuntergĂ€ngen, die man vom Pool, von der großen Terrasse, vom Esszimmer mit bodentiefer Glas Schiebefront oder vom Balkon aus genießen kann ist wrklich einzigartig. Morgens vom Bett aus in den Pool, FrĂŒhstĂŒck im Freien, dann ein kleines Tennismatch dann nochmals in den Pool und anschliessend an den Strand. Das sind traumhafte Tage! Das Anwesen liegt eta auf 230m Höhe. zu Fuß kann man ĂŒber einen kleinen schmalen Wanderweg in die kleine KĂŒstenstadt laufen (ein Weg ca. 1,7 km) in der es mehrere kleine BĂ€cker gibt, kleine SupermĂ€rkte und einen Obststand. Der Weg ist etwas steil, wer sich jedoch morgens diese kleine Wanderung gönnt, der genießt das erstandene FrĂŒhstĂŒck und den Sprung in den Pool, der ĂŒbergens mit Quellwasser befĂŒllt ist, umso mehr. Im ganzen Haus gibt es Quellwasser, besser und gesĂŒnder als jedes gekaufte Wasser aus der Flasche. Der Pool ist super gepflegt, das Wasser nahezu chlorfrei. Keine trĂ€nenden Augen, keine gereizte Haut, Temperatur ist angenehm frisch! Stephen kĂŒmmert sich sehr gewissenhaft um die Instandhaltung des gesamten Anwesens und ist fĂŒr jedes Anliegen jederzeit ansprechbar. Er wohnt in unmittelbarer NĂ€he, was Absprachen sehr einfach macht. Auf dem Balkon steht ein sehr hervorragender Gasgrill, auf welchem wir frischen Fisch, GemĂŒse und bestes Fleisch zubereitet haben. Einkaufen kann man mĂŒhelos etwa 10 min vom Haus entfernt mit dem Auto in mehreren großen SupermĂ€rkten in Makarska. Dort gibt es auch frischen Fisch zu erwerben. In Podgora selbst ist an der Promenade Leben und Trubel. Das kleine KĂŒstenstĂ€dtchen besticht durch seine UrsprĂŒnglichkeit gepaart mit den Bequemlichkeiten der modernen Zeit. Er gibt viele wunderbare kleinere Restaurants an der Promenade. Es ist nicht zu touristisch dort, keine riesigen Hotels, kein Massentourismus. Alles klein und fein. Die Anreise empfiehlt sich nicht an Samstagen, da dann im Sommer die Strassen sehr sehr voll sind und man lange Staus in Kauf nehmen muss. Wir sind von Deutschland aus sowohl hin als auch zurĂŒck ĂŒber Nacht gefahren (Anreise Sonntag auf Montag und Abreise Freitag Abend) und empfehlen das auch allen, die Urlaub in der Region Dalmatien planen. Insgesamt fĂŒr uns ein Superurlaub!

Fantastic!

Lovely villa with amazing sea views and very friendly and helpful hosts who live next door. The villa has a pool, tennis court and six hole golf course. We had to restrict play to the evening as it was so hot in August. The villa was spotless and air con very good. We had a few issues with wifi connectivity but it didn't spoil our stay. Stephen and Michaela were very helpful with local recommendations of where to eat etc. Dubrovnik and Split well worth a visit, especially if you are Game of Thrones fans. Local beaches very good and water beautifully clear. Would definitely recommend but you need a car, it's a very windy road uphill!

Supert sted i flotte omgivelser. Anbefales!

Flott villa med nydelig utsikt over Adriaterhavet. Utrolig fint uteomrÄde med et et lite og bra basseng. I tillegg fikk vi brukt bÄde tennisbanen og minigolf banen som hÞrer til huset. Rent og pent bÄde inne og ute, og hyggelige utleiere som passet godt pÄ at vi hadde det bra. Podgora og omrÄdet rundt er trivelig og med mange hyggelige mennesker. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Beautiful location

The house is in the most perfect position for watching the sun setting over the islands. The house was spotless and Stephen was a perfect host with lots of local information. There are numerous coves to explore where you can often find you are the only people. The village on the coast has lots of restaurants along the sea front offering fresh sea food. The scenary is stunning and it's worth driving up into the surrounding mountains. We had an extremely relaxing holiday with just the right amount of lazing around doing very little and exploring the area.

Fabulous Villa

The villa was spotlessly clean and well equipped and has a great new pool for 2016. Uninterrupted views from the patio of Podgora harbour below, Hvar and Brac islands in the distance and the Biokovo mountains behind (the kids thought it was a green screen video effect!). The owners live next door and attend to the pool daily. Stephen's a fountain of local knowledge and helped with suggested outings to Dubrovnik, Split and Trogir. Podgora is within a 3 minute drive of the villa down a steep and windy road, has plenty of places to eat and boat trips are available to the local islands. All this and tennis and mini golf - what more could you want? We couldn't recommend this villa and the region highly enough.

Wow!

If you intend to explore Croatia don't stay here, because you won't want to leave it! 5 minutes by car up the hill between the Biokovo mountains and the small town of Podgora, this villa has stunning uninterrupted views over the town and the sea to Brač and Hvar islands, and right up the coast to Split. The complex is divided into two 2-bedroom 2-storey properties joined by the 1.6M pool terrace. If you only rent one part, the other part will not be rented out, so you will not have to share the pool. Alternatively, both parts are available for larger family groups. Spotlessly clean, well-provided with kitchen appliances and utensils, satellite TV has BBC World, CNN, and many foreign stations. The very helpful English-speaking owner lives above the other part of the complex, and he will keep the pool clean daily. We picked grapes and figs on the property, which also has two further levels containing a complete outdoor kitchen with barbecue, floodlit tennis court, gym, table tennis table, and even a crazy golf course. The area around the villa is very quiet and oeacefull, and it has access to country walks. Built on the hill, the property is on several levels joined by steps. Podgora has many restaurants, a mini-market, tourist shops, easily accessed pebbly beaches, and a flat beachside promenade. A large supermarket is 15 minutes by car near Makarska. Smaller seaside villages are within easy reach by car, and secluded pine-fringed beaches can be found if you are prepared to walk to them. The coast road is good, but you will not be able to hurry anywhere as it is only single lane and mostly 60 Km/hr. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Villa Podgora
