We're Ben Marshall and family — passionate lovers of Salema and the western Algarve, where we've been holidaying for generations. That passion inspired us to build a unique portfolio of four luxury villas in this special corner of Portugal, all available through our Simply Salema collection.

Casa das Estevas is our pride and joy: a stunning beachfront villa designed for exclusive occupancy by a single group of friends or family. This large luxury villa sits just metres from the sea in a peaceful setting – where you can clearly see and hear the waves from the comfort of the villa. Salema chose us, really. After years of family holidays in this beautiful, unspoilt village on the western Algarve, we fell so deeply in love with the place that we decided to put down roots — designing and building Casa das Estevas from the ground up to share that same joy with others.

What makes Salema so special is precisely what makes it rare: it's a genuine, working fishing village with an authenticity that's increasingly hard to find on the Algarve. The beach is quiet and sheltered, the pace of life is slow and the scenery is simply breathtaking. For us, it was the perfect place to create something we're truly proud of.

Casa das Estevas reflects everything we love about being here - a spacious 6 bedroom beachfront home built to the highest standards, with direct beach access and a rooftop terrace that has to be seen to be believed. Add to that a large games room with bar, private swimming pool with a separate children's area, hot tub and a purpose-built BBQ area, and you have a villa designed for making unforgettable memories - just as Salema has always done for the Marshall family and guests for the past 20+ years, many of whom have become firm friends.
