Ceux qui cherchent Ă  profiter d'un sĂ©jour luxueux et confortable dans les montagnes vont adorer cette escapade. Cela deviendra rapidement votre endroit prĂ©fĂ©rĂ© pour rester toute l'annĂ©e. En Ă©tĂ©, vous pouvez faire du vĂ©lo de montagne jusqu'au village pour sauter sur la navette et aprĂšs une longue journĂ©e de marche, retournez au condo sur le sentier de montagne qui mĂšne directement au complexe! Le village a des festivals et des concerts de musique chaque week-end. Prenez une bouchĂ©e, allez dans les discothĂšques, faites du shopping ou faites un massage. Il y a toujours quelque chose Ă  faire et vous n'avez jamais besoin de monter dans votre voiture! En hiver, vous pouvez marcher jusqu'Ă  la tĂ©lĂ©cabine et ĂȘtre sur les pistes en moins de 5 minutes. Like the majority of mammoth units, this unit was dated, and could use upgrades. This was most definitely was not a concern what-so-ever for us. The good things: the beds seemed clean, however, we did find hairs in the upstairs loft bed - did not seem like those sheets were clean, but the other two beds did seem like they had clean sheets. Now the not so good: Upon arriving, I emailed the host to let them know that we found the place to be very dirty. Specifically I shared that there was some kind of dirt smear on the wall with residue that looks like mucus (maybe vomit?) on the wall near the upstairs bathroom. The bathroom upstairs is frankly disgusting. The toilet is incredibly stained and there are dirt marks on the wall next to the toilet. The floor in the bathrooms and kitchen are filthy. There is even a slight urine odor in the upstairs bathroom. There are also several things broken in the unit: plaster behind light switches electrical sockets exposed in the upstairs bathroom. I took photos of everything that I am mentioning here. The floor also had not been cleans, there are large crumbs all over the hardwood floor downstairs. The sofa is also covered in dog hair that you can see when the sun shines in. The small vacuum cleaner does not work, and there are no cleaning supplies in the apartment. the host responded with, "Feel free to leave now and we will refund you." So if you don't mind a dirty place, who doesn't care, this is the place for you.

Not satisfied with the unit for the price we paid

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this property: The unit needs a thorough remodel and an interior makeover. Please note that one of the beds is located in a den that is the size of the bed with no windows or doors. It’s basically hanging over the kitchen table area. Not sure if it’s permitted and built by the code. Overall, the townhouse feels and looks poor and needs major revamp.

Convenient location with poor communication

This is the second time that I have stayed at this property. The location is absolutely perfect given its proximity to both the ski back trail as well as the village. The check-in process was streamlined, although it forced you to download an additional application. The beds are comfortable and the linens are soft. There is significant wear to the property with holes in the walls and multiple lights switches that do not work as well as lights that have no appropriate lights. The communication with the property managers is absolutely nonexistent, and they did not respond to a single inquiry about specifics of the home after chick-in. Additionally, they stated simply that they will not respond to early/late check in or out inquiries. Mind you we did not request to check in early or check out late, however, it seems as though this blanket statement reflects their overall disinterested in communicating at all with their guests. Unfortunately, at this stage, I will be seeking other properties to rent within this complex as there are many, and with others I have stayed. I have had significantly better communication.

Exactly what we needed

The property is nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed (cooking items/utensils, soap/shampoo, TV etc) and was walking distance to the village. We stayed for a snowboarding trip and while the space is not huge, it worked for us. I do think it could have been a little cleaner... we found some garbage and a dirty diaper under the couch that the cleaners must have missed.. but otherwise it was fine. We'd stay there again.

Great spot but I wouldn’t stay there for a week again. Condo needs to be updated. Cable was out the whole time we were there which was annoying. Will definitely be booking this again for long weekend trips!

Reviewer Comments: We were extremely disappointed when we arrived to find no pool/hot tub (have been out of service for two years), the WiFi not working, and the cleanliness of the place not up to standard. We were supposed to stay for a week but ended up cutting our trip short. We felt the listing to be very misleading, especially since the title mentions a pool and hot tub that have been out of service for years. The location is great but besides that i would not recommend this rental.

It was nice. There were a couple issues we had
we told management and they seemed appreciative of information and said they would take care of them so hopefully they do. Unfortunately the jacuzzi didn’t work either. There was plenty of firewood, bed comfortable. The location is the best and easy to get to.

Summer Vacation

We love Mammoth and decided to take our family for a summer vacation. Even though we planned to explore the beautiful lakes in the vicinity we also wanted a pool onsite. When we got there we went to go to the pool with our kids-it was 90 degrees. We were sent the pool code 2 days prior to arriving. Upon arriving, the pool was completely torn apart and shut down. I instantly emailed the property managers and had no response. After checking out we got a generic email asking to tell them if we had and issues. Since we never heard back about the pool I told them again how disappointed we were about the pool. Their response was they had an explosion during winter and according to the house manual "we just manage the condo not the whole complex." We didn't even receive an apology. So disappointed by their extremely cold response. Also, if you are looking for a 3 bedroom this is not your place! The 3rd bedroom is small space up some very steep stairs with only room for a full bed. We use VRBO frequently but the with the lack of customer service I would NOT recommend this condo.

SCAMMED

The day of our checkin I was contacted by Sarah from Ready 4 Rentals informing me that they made a mistake on the pricing and will be charging us an additional fee. I felt this was unfair that I had to pay for their mistake. I booked and paid for this VRBO a month prior based on it being slightly cheaper than other options available at that time. Sarah encouraged us to cancel the reservation hours before checkin. I had no choice but to pay the additional money she was demanding since we were already in route to the VBRO and we would not be able to find another place in time. We own and manage multiple vacation properties and would never treat our guests the way Sarah did. Not only was she being unreasonable with us but she was also doing the company a disservice by threatening to cancel our reservation a couple hours before checkin. This company is a scam and does not care about their customers! Additionally there was not any hand soap, shampoo/conditioner or body wash provided and only one tiny hand towel per guest.

The manager was on top of clearing snow and steps everyday as we got a ton of snow while there. The Condo was super close to the village so very convenient for food and supplies and access to Village Gondola. Our only complaint would be the WiFi basically didn't work while we were there, very old router, so all TV's didn't work either since the wifi wouldn't connect with them. We made due and a nice break from Devices but a worry if we had any work to do. But other that that a very nice place to stay

Relaxing escape to Mammoth

We loved our trip to this condo in Mammoth. It snowed so much and the condo is walking distance to the village which was wonderful. We would stay here again.

Further, the TV is set up for all the right apps, and most important for my family, the cooking equipment provided was top notch. Nice place great location

We really liked staying here. Price was good, location is awesome, and over all it's very comfortable. The two bed rooms are comfortable and spacious. Things are a bit old like the bathrooms but fully working. The fire place was a great addition.

Great Location, Pet Friendly

Nice size condo right next to the village. Condo was a little older a might need some updating BUT it is PET friendly. Our family enjoyed staying there. Bedroom upstairs above kitchen is VERY SMALL good for a couple of kids only. Kitchen a little on the small size but average for Mammoth condo.
