Magnifique maison de 5 chambres de caractère avec une grande piscine et la terrasse ensoleillée

Un très spacieux converti cinq ferme chambres dans la campagne. Principales caractéristiques includeThirteen arcs épais, poutres apparentes, escalier en pierre et carrelage à motifs. Cette ferme confortable est idéal pour plus d'une famille ou un groupe d'amis (14 couchages personnes). Au rez de chaussée, on trouve un hall, deux chambres en suite, une autre chambre et une douche séparée. De la salle, on peut atteindre le premier étage par un vol original d'escaliers en pierre de Malte et de la balustrade est en fer forgé, typique des maisons traditionnelles maltaises. Le jardin à l'autre bout du rez de chaussée donne accès séparé à la zone du pont. Premier étage se compose d'un grand salon avec télévision par câble et d'une cheminée, une cuisine spacieuse, deux chambres, une salle de bains, douche, grande terrasse (29 m².) Avec mobilier de jardin, une vaste zone de la piscine pour bronzer (69. 5 m²) Piscine (10 . 5m x 3m 4.), jacuzzi avec un diamètre 2. 3m et barbecue (24 m²). Le salon et la cuisine donnent sur la piscine.

What a lovely place! The ten of us had an absolutely lovely week in this beautiful space. Lorraine was lovely and very helpful - quality host! The place was so roomy and spacious - and it was lovely watching the room rise over the pool each morning. A lovely, quiet area with easy access to a supermarket and restaurants, and a short walk into Victoria.Would definitely recommend!

Family Holiday

This is a large house and had plenty of room for 7 adults. Lorraine was waiting to greet us and supplied us with some food for breakfast. We enjoyed our time here and was central to everywhere.

Great homebase on Gozo

Beautiful property with plenty of space to spread out and a pool that felt like a must during the summer in Malta. The owner was right next door and always willing to help with every question we asked. We were very happy with our stay.

Lovely house

Very nice house, excellent reception and help with transfer and renting of cars from the landlady. We celebrated anniversary with my big family; 15 persons in all. Everybody, from 0-70 years old, was very happy with the stay.

This home is incredible. It has so many rooms!!! Great for a large group. We were confused at first because it's described as a farmhouse but it is not in a rural area. It is in town and shares walls with neighbors. It turned out to be a bonus because it was easy to get to everything. Ihope to go back and stay again. It felt very luxurious. Lorraine was very helpful with everything we needed.

We were 14 family members, surprised our mother/grandmother with a weekend break in this 5 bedroom farmhouse. Great size kitchen with 2 big fridge freezers, well air-conditioned, BBQ area and big pool with deck chairs. We really enjoyed it and can say that everything we needed we found including pots, plates, ect. Landlord lives next door, which was great just in case we needed anything, but really didn't need to call her because we were very comfortable and as I said before we found everything we needed.

Wonderful property with lovely large outside area and large pool that’s amazing for relaxing and playing with the children. The owner is so helpful with lots of local knowledge and quick to answer with any queries. She even sorted transfers to and from the airport for us and sorted a food pack for us as we were arriving in the evening. The pool was cleaned regularly which kept it sparkling for use every morning. Central to the village with a local shop, bus stop and restaurants within walking distance and beaches and attractions a short taxi/bus ride away. We had a really wonderful week and would definitely recommend!

Long weekend getaway

Very large, beautiful clean property. We were 8 adults and ate out only once during our stay as we did our own cooking /bbq. We did not want to leave the great entertainment pool area Great communication with Lorraine. Highly recommend. The only downfall is we did not book for a longer stay.

Everything about Ta Nina is grand. Large hallways and rooms, tall ceilings, spacious outside areas and good sized pool. The landlady, Lorraine, lives only next door and is very helpful. I would certainly recommend staying here if you are a large group.

Stay at Ta Nina

Ta Nina is a beautiful house and the outside area, pool, bbq area etc are fantastic. Lorraine was a great host and was especially helpful when my nephew left some money behind after check out! The bathrooms and bedrooms could do with a bit of updating, especially the sheets and mattresses - this would make the house 10/10.

Beautiful farmhouse with pool

The farmhouse was clean and spacious with plenty of outside space including a barbeque area and a pool, which was regularly maintained throughout our stay. The house is a lovely style and well equipped with everything we needed. Lorraine and her son responded to requests promptly and Lorraine lives nearby so was able to pop over in person when needed and had lots of helpful local tips.

Wonderful Farmhouse on Gozo

We had a wonderful time staying at the farmhouse. Mrs Lorraine was so kind and so helpful. She arranged our transportation to and from the airport as well as arranged a rental car for us with a local company that was much better price than I could find. Even had us some starter groceries. The house was perfect for our needs. Kids loved the amazing pool and we enjoyed a nice BBQ while looking at the Castella from the terrace.

Great farmhouse

Great house due to the big outside area. While there is an umbrella this is not enough for more than two people. Owner should consider more shaded area. Beds and pillow comfort could do with an upgrade. Overall I’d recommend this place.

Beautiful house and pool

The farmhouse is beautiful, although rather rustic/spartan. Beds, pillows, and sheets need an upgrade. Some bugs tried to take up residence with us but Lorraine helped us with that by bringing bug spray and we just had to keep all food in kitchen and crumbs cleaned up etc. The pool was gorgeous and refreshing. Lorraine was a gracious hostess. Coin op air con (but don’t run them all at once—we learned that the hard way.) Close to Victoria With many restaurants, shopping and amenities. Quiet street.

The large property is old but with lots of character.The pool / outdoor area is the hero of this property. Spacious and clean, the kids loved the pool and we cooked on the BBQ.The bathrooms are dated, but they are as shown in the pictures and, based on our experience with other properties around Malta, we were expecting the water pressure not to be great.Aircon is coin operated and we found it gave a reasonable amount of usage if you don't try to blast all 7 units at once. There are also fans. The main thing that would improve the property is upgraded mattresses, pillows and linen as these were quite old and worn. You can walk go Victoria in about 20 mins or we always managed to park not too far away on the street. Communication with the owner was good and she lives next door so is available if you need anything.

If you like rustic and no frills

The villa is a lovely building, full of character with lots of space and the location is ideal. We had a pleasant stay and the owner, Lorraine was helpful and friendly. Communication also very good so it was nice to know that if there was anything we needed Lorraine would get back to us. For the purpose of constructive feedback, some issues that we felt could be easily resolved to make the villa more comfortable were: Pillows, beds and bed linen which we all found uncomfortable and worn Cutlery also tired. Knives for cutting veg and fruit missing, two large knives are blunt so a knife sharpener would be useful Cracks in some bowls Water pressure for showers very low plus difficult to control water temperature so we resorted to using jugs for hair washing. Insufficient seating both inside and out for 10 people. Surprised that bin bags aren’t provided, they need to be purchased and this proved difficult given it was the. Easter holidays so many shops were closed. I’ve found that surplus supplies usually build up from previous guests in villa type holidays ( bin bags, salt , pepper etc.) but there was nothing at all. There are mainly minor issues ( with the exception of beds and showers) and we did have a lovely time.

Nice house

We spent 7 wonderful days in the house with 9 persons. The house is spacious and well-equiped. It has a lot of charm just as the outside. The BBQ and the swimming-pool are very apreciable. Nice house but no heating and hard beds

The house itself is very nice and has a lot of charm. The pool and BBQ area is just as you see in the photos. We rented the house in November and it was starting to get cold outside. There is no heating in the house (only a fireplace but no wood). The bedlinen provided consists of only a sheet for cover for each bed. There were some blankets in the wardrobes but definitely not enough for 15 (which is the capacity of the house). There were only 6 of us and we had to ask for additional blankets because we were cold. I know that there are probably not a lot of people renting off season but having some heating would have been nice. Also not that the beds are very hard. We were struggling to get a good night sleep. On the last day we had strong rain and water started seeping through the doors and few places on the roof. The lady who's managing the property didn't seem too concerned about it, she just came to mop up the water when the rain stopped (we were worried about the electrical circuits and etc.). It is a nice property but I got the feeling that it is not very well looked after and the furniture is more to keep the costs low rather than to make the guests comfortable.

Thank you for the positive and constructive comments provided. We appreciate as it only helps us to deliver a better quality service. I will tackle things one by one: Heating - we will be installing air conditions in each and every room from January (all air conditioners have been ordered and we are awaiting for the company to install them which is scheduled early next year). Furthermore, it is really unfortunate that you did not ask me for wood similar to your request for extra blankets which were immediately provided for. We would have provided you the initial taking so as to heat the kitchen and living room. With respect to water seeping in, it is appropriate to provide you with the peculiar aspects of the Maltese climate. After a very long hot summer, some minor cracks may appear which will need maintenance after the first rain. After you left, we have applied roof compound to ensure that the inconvenience is short-lived. Just a word of note - there was no danger whatsoever when some of the rain water seeped in. The installation of electricity in the Maltese islands takes into consideration the different aspects of external environment and the house has also mechanisms that will immediately shut off the electricity water if in very unfortunate but very rare circumstances water comes close to electricity. Regarding the furniture and mattresses. We are in the process of changing the upper two bedrooms including all the mattresses as documented in previous comments.

Family holidays - August 2019

We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful and large villa. Lorraine organized our trip from the airport, everything went very well and she even waited for us late at night to welcome us and explain the house. The accommodation is perfect to spend holidays with family or friends, we were 8 and it was very nice for all of us. We loved: - the pool, - the BBQ, - the large outdoor eating area, - the rooms on the ground floor which are cooler than the 1st floor. Some points of improvement: - 1 single outdoor umbrella, it would take some more for the pool and the terrace because when we eat lunch it is very hot. - We came early August and had a sunny week, it was hard to get to sleep that night with all the fans in every room. It may be necessary to install some air conditioners to refresh rooms. Thank you Lorraine for your welcome and your help. We had a great holiday and will not hesitate to come back!

Dear Lola It was a pleasure hosting you in the farmhouse and it gives me immense satisfaction knowing that you thoroughly enjoyed the week and the holiday! Thank you as well for the constructive feedback as it is the only way we can improve. Regarding the umbrella, I will ensure that during the hot summer months there will always be two readily available. Having said that, if you would have raised this matter immediately, I would have provided you with another in an hour. Regarding the air conditioner, we have had discussions as management of this farmhouse whether this should be installed or otherwise. The stickler is that air conditioners has a tendency to reduce the rustic ambience of such farmhouse. Having said that, we fully understand that each summer that pass by is not getting milder, on the contrary it is becoming hotter. We will have another discussion as management but as you pointed out the way forward to beat the summer humidity is air conditioners.

Great Holiday in Gozo. Excellent location and super house.

We spent five days staying in this lovely farmhouse. The pool is definetly the highlight and the children loved it. There was everything we needed there, BBQ, kitchen utensils, a great frying pan :) and loads of dishes and cutlery. The beds were all very comfortable and everyone slept well, although a baker passes by each morning and beep his/her horn, but we were happy to get fresh bread so it didnt bother us. Lorraine was an excelent host, she was avaiable when we arrived and lives next door so avaiable for anything we needed. There was a big smart tv which the teenagers loved for evening movies. again comfortable couches and lots of space. All in all a great holiday and I would highly recommend it especailly for big groups. .
