Situé sur seize acres et plus de 1200 pieds de façade sur la riviÚre, et avec son savoir-faire du vieux monde et ses détails de pointe, Toccoa House est une expérience vraiment incroyable. Nichée dans les montagnes immaculées de la Géorgie du Nord, cette cabine à trois niveaux de 4 000 pieds carrés présente des plafonds vertigineux et un escalier incurvé en acajou. Notre piscine et notre bain à remous sont l'incarnation de la détente.

La propriĂ©tĂ© n'est PAS adaptĂ©e aux fĂȘtes bruyantes et aux invitĂ©s immatures.

Chacune des cinq chambres possĂšde sa propre salle de bains avec bain Ă  remous, tĂ©lĂ©vision par satellite et haut-parleurs pour le systĂšme stĂ©rĂ©o du bĂątiment. Le balcon supĂ©rieur offre un ordinateur avec accĂšs Internet haut dĂ©bit et une table de hockey sur air. Le niveau infĂ©rieur de la terrasse comprend une table de billard, un poĂȘle Ă  bois et une table de jeu, ainsi que des siĂšges pour une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plasma de 70 pouces. Une cheminĂ©e Ă  bois au rez-de-chaussĂ©e et un poĂȘle Ă  bois au niveau de la terrasse crĂ©ent une ambiance merveilleuse. Six ponts, porches et balcons offrent de nombreuses opportunitĂ©s pour admirer la vue sur la montagne, observer les oiseaux abondants de la rĂ©gion, regarder le coucher du soleil sur la crĂȘte ouest ou simplement vous dĂ©tendre avec un bon livre.

La riviĂšre Toccoa fournit certaines des meilleures pĂȘches Ă  la truite en GĂ©orgie du Nord, ainsi que la natation et les tubes. Des excursions en canoĂ«-kayak, en randonnĂ©e pĂ©destre ou Ă  vĂ©lo sont Ă©galement disponibles. Une aire de pique-nique herbeuse et une fosse en fer Ă  cheval sont situĂ©es sur le terrain prĂšs de la riviĂšre, Ă  l'emplacement d'une ancienne carriĂšre de pierre. Pour ceux qui ont des activitĂ©s plus tranquilles Ă  l'esprit, la ville de Blue Ridge est Ă  seulement cinq kilomĂštres et possĂšde certains des meilleurs magasins d'antiquitĂ©s du monde. It is definitely one of the best places we've stayed. We do a planning session every year and by far this met every need. We will book again. The view, the beds and the information posted throughout the house made the stay enjoyable.

Relaxing time

Excellent house to spend with family and friends

We had lots of fun in this beautiful cabin. We found the kitchen super loaded with all needed items. We grilled and got into the jacuzzi. All were working perfectly. House was an excellent choice overall.

Great getaway!

We had a great stay at The Toccoa House! Greg was super nice and responsive to the few little questions we had along the way - he even swung by so we could chat for a bit. Cool history of the property and future plans for development. Our daughter loved the swing-set and the side yard was big and flat - perfect for throwing a football and evening bonfires. There is PLENTY of room here for everyone. Lots of books and gathering spaces. The river is a bit of a hike down but we didn’t mind - spent a lot of time on the banks fishing. We would absolutely come back to this house in the future.

Toccoa House

This was my 4th stay with Toccoa Properties and my 3rd at Toccoa House. The home and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Greg is wonderful and was very attentive and communicative. I love this property and can't wait to come back!

Amazing Home and People

Home was as nice as it looked in the photos. The drive up to the home was very important to us as we had stayed at other Blue Ridge homes in the past that had a treacherous commute. This was a safe paved road with enough space for passing other vehicles if needed. Greg, Karen and the other gentleman assisting with maintenance of the grounds were all very pleasant, helpful and courteous. The river bank, trails, playground and disc golf were well all used and enjoyed by the family. Overall, the home was perfect for our needs
a family of 8 with various ages and we would highly recommend to others. We hope to book the same home again for next year
which would be the first time booking the same home after years of visits to the area. We also suggest considering this home and others in the Toccoa River property group for family reunions or gatherings.

Scenic Cabin Vibes

Everything is as described and better! We had an awesome time celebrating a birthday, plenty to do in and around the gorgeous and spacious cabin! Loved the connected speaker system that played throughout the cabin, although, some seemed to be broken or not working as intended. It was clean, well stocked with towels, and kitchen supplies. We would love to stay again in the future!

PERFECT Family Getaway

We had a group of 10 people - 6 adults and 4 kids ages 14-10 - during our stay and we couldn't have found a better home than The Toccoa House! The 5 bedrooms with 5 attached baths made getting ready for our day trips to Blue Ridge, Elijay and Helen a breeze. Greg and his team were so smart to have TWO dishwashers and TWO dryers, so all those dirty dishes and towels were a snap to get clean. The large dining table and kitchen island made mealtime easy and fun. The pool was a quick walk from the house and was very clean and private. I honestly can't think of a single thing we'd change. If you're looking for a place to take the whole family, look no further. We'll be back!

Beautiful Stay 💕

The cabin is gorgeous! We enjoyed all aspects of the cabin, especially the short walk to the beautiful pool that we swam in every evening. No other visitors were at the pool any time we went. At the cabin, the kids explored the top floor but we didn't utilize that space. Each bedroom has its own full bath which was great for multiple families. The large kitchen and gigantic dining table fit our party of 10 perfectly for all meals. A small TV in the main level living area would have been a nice addition but the large screen TV in the media/pool table room downstairs was great. The walk to the river gets a little steep but was doable. Views of the river off the back porches were gorgeous. During the first evening, strong winds caused a tree to break power lines right by the cabin. Greg was prompt to bring out a generator to power parts of the cabin and the community well. The lines were repaired late that night and we had no other issues.

Family memories!

The home was well suited for a family of 12, everyone had their own beds and privacy of own bathroom. There was plenty of space to disappear. The dining table was magnificent as we sat and talked at breakfast and dinner. The grounds were well kept. There was plenty to do, hiking, fishing and swimming in the pool! We made memories with 3 generations of families to last a lifetime. When I wrote to ask if cabin had a griddle for pancakes as I usually bring my own, Greg had a new one on the counter when we arrived! Thank you!

Toccahouse was beautiful

It was a beautiful cabin, lots of room ,very comfy beds and lots to do! The only issue we had was there was dog hair all over the floor it stuck to our feet and we decorated wirh ballons and as they hit the floor dog hair got all over them. Other than this issue, we enjoyed the hot tub, and the beautiful view and the pool. I would definitely recommend this beautiful cabin for a get away!

Great getaway

This vacation was absolutely wonderful. The layout and location were perfect for us to get away from it all. The house was very accommodating as well as Captain contact with us. We were lucky enough to get some cold weather and enjoy the Log Cabin the way we wanted to. Wasn't too far away from anything so we had the peacefulness but yet we were still connected to the cities. Place was absolutely beautiful

Great setup

The cabin was wonderful for us to all have our own space. Each bedroom having its own bath was crucial. The Keurig was broken upon arrival and within 30 minutes it was replaced.

Perfection

Girlfriends for 50 years, we were dorm mates in nursing school, and it was time for a reunion! The most comfortable beds, and plenty of them. The kitchen was well stocked: 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. Several different seating areas to accommodate all of us. We had a marvelous time!!

Oregonian Greg Spencer initially discovered the Blue Ridge area on a backpacking trip to the Cohutta Wilderness in the 1980’s. A short time later, enamored of the area, and the incredible recreational opportunities, Greg began to explore the potential for purchasing raw mountain land, and developing uniquely designed and hand-crafted cabins, taking full advantage of stunning views and a quarter mile of Toccoa River frontage.

Since our 17-acre property spans over 1200 feet of Toccoa River frontage and consists of a peninsula created by a horseshoe bend in the river, we are surrounded by water on three sides. We are close to town, yet secluded and private. We offer four distinct and private rental cabins. The cabins are all walking distance from each other and can be booked together, making Toccoa House Properties an ideal destination for large groups. Combined, our cabins sleep 40 (13 bedrooms, 11 full baths, 2 half baths).

The Toccoa House is our largest accommodation, with three levels and room for 14 to sleep comfortably. The Grey Heron House is our next largest cabin, sleeping 14 on three levels. The Carriage House is our mid-sized rental cabin which sleeps 6. The Riverfront Cabin sleeps 8, and The Riverside Cabin is our smallest cabin, with room for two right on the banks of the Toccoa River
