Maison de caractère d'époque avec une vue imprenable sur le lac Windermere

Belle maison Lakeland, située dans des jardins privés avec un grand parking privé. Belle vue sur le lac Windermere, à 5 minutes à pied et près de Waterhead avec de bons pubs et restaurants.
Jardin privé avec table de jardin, chaises et parasol.
La maison peut accueillir 6 personnes (ou 8 avec un canapé-lit) avec 2 chambres super king-size et une chambre lits jumeaux. L'une des chambres est attenante, avec douche. Les autres chambres partagent une salle de bains familiale moderne. Il y a un vestiaire au rez-de-chaussée avec WC
Nous avons également un canapé-lit (rez-de-chaussée) pouvant accueillir 2 personnes. Voyage lit bébé également disponible.

Beautiful home and lovely hosts

This is a beautiful historical home that is close to town, with lovely hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much. The beds were very cozy and warm, the kitchen well appointed, and contacting the host was very easy. We would highly recommend this accommodation!

We loved everything about this house! The house is beautiful inside and out. The location is perfect and very walkable into Ambleside as well as down to the lake. David and Gillian are wonderful hosts too!

Fantastic Location - Perfect for the Lake District

Property- fantastic. Many walks to forests/gardens/fells right from the property- Ferry to towns a 10 min walk. Grounds were charming- the kitchen is incredibly well kitted out for those who like to cook- very comfortable beds and the communication was great with the owners.

The property owners are tremendous. Everything about staying at the house was special, including the dogs. WE were there over a bank holiday weekend. The traffic was awful and would recommend staying away from this area on major holidays.

Very comfortable and fantastic views

We were a family of 4 + 2 grandparents. This rental served as a super base for exploring the lakes. The property was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking evening meals and we enjoyed playing the board games provided. We also used the fire pit and outdoor space dedicated for this unit. The beds were VERY comfortable! Thank you for a fabulous stay. We will be back!

Superb family break

The property is amazing beautiful setting , characterful building excellent decor and facilities. Gillian was a a wonderful host helpful and friendly. The views of the lake stunning and walking straight into the fells from the back gate was so convenient. No need to use the car.

Great short break

Gorgeous location with stunning views, this property has everything you need for a break away. We travelled as a group of 6 and found the check in very easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Excellent location with exceptional views a short walk from the edge of Ambleside and very short walk from direct access to the lake. Loverly proportioned period buildings with high ceilings and that feeling of grandeur.

The perfect holiday!

We had the best week at wansfell Holme, the house was perfect. We had plenty room for 6 adults and the house was immaculate. Couldn't be in a better location and Gillian and David were amazing hosts, and their three dogs made our holiday. Amazing views of both the lake and the mountains and with direct access to the fells and nearly direct access to the lake it was ideal. We will definitely be back! 5 stars

Easy to love Wansfell Holme and Gillian. Great stay, view and area. The bathroom on the upper floor was an experience worth paying for!
