Spacious new 3 bed villa with private pool

Private, spacious, comfortable villa on quiet small development with beautiful views of the mountains bordering the Almanzora Valley. Patio doors from the master bedroom and lounge open onto the sunny, south facing patio area with sunbeds around the private and secluded 10 x 5m walk in swimming pool. A large, shady area of veranda provided under a substantial porch is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy long, leisurely meals overlooking the pool. There is a Spanish BBQ or gas BBQ available, outdoor table tennis and stone table and chairs from which to enjoy the mountain views. A bar/restaurant is 2/3 minutes walk and other restaurants, bars, shops, bakery, newspapers, bank and petrol station are only a short 5 minute drive. The long sandy beaches of Costa Almeria are only 20 minutes away. The villa is fully equipped to sleep 6 in 3 good sized bedrooms with linen and indoor towels provided, pool or beach towels can be available by arrangement. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and full size electric hob and oven. In addition to a large family bathroom the master bedroom has its own en suite shower room.

The villa has a flat screen television on which you can watch British TV and Wifi is provided

Beautiful pool, which is the highlight of the property and I’m sure it would be fantastic in warmer weather - but it was a little too cold for us to use on this occasion. Plenty of space, kitchen really well stocked with everything that one would need to cook up a good meal - with fresh food from the local markets, which we visited each day. British channels on tv were a bonus for us in the evenings. Only downside was the mattress on the single bed I slept in. We went too early in the season I think - or we could’ve just been unlucky - as it was still quite cold throughout our stay. But we enjoyed our rest - very quiet area.

Great family holiday

Lovely clean villa with lots of space. Perfect for relaxing with the family. Large clean pool with amazing views. The owners are helpful and provide lots of helpful information about the local area and quick at responding. Will be booking again.

Lovely rural holiday in the sun

This was a great setting for a well earned rest with plenty of sunshine, and all the facilities anyone would need. The pool was fantastic, and the setting very peaceful. Good shopping in local markets and supermarkets, and very detailed and thorough information helped us make the most of eating out. Beaches are within easy reach by car, and it was lovely to be 'far from the madding crowd'!

Great time

We had an excellent stay in the house. The swimming pool was really nice and clean. We had all the amenities needed. The villa has a superb view on the mountains. Our holidays were perfect under the sign of calm and tranquillity. Thanks to Vicky who was always available for us.

Home from home, beautiful place with everything you could want and need.

We are a family of 6 our youngest is 7 and we all loved it, the villa is very beautiful, spacious, clean, well equipt and homely. Vicky very kind lady whom communicated with us all the way through even arranged for us to have done bits and bobs when we arrived. (bread, milk ect). Almería a beautiful place very peaceful and the prole very friendly. The pool is fantastic the children lived in it while we where there even learnt how to swim. There was even big bath towels. Lots of pool toys for the little ones and the teenagers. Board games everything you can think of. We loved it and highly recommended it. Thank you.

Nous avons passé un bon moment dans cette maison, un endroit très propre ainsi que la piscine. Extraordinaire....

Tout d'abord, merci à Vicky & Geof, qui sans leur engagement et leur soucis du service notre séjour n'aurait pas eu lieu. Ils ont pris toutes les précautions nécessaires suite au covid 19. En ce qui concerne la villa, elle répond largement à nos attentes. Environnement rural, calme et en même proche des commodités, 20 mns de Vera (Magasin Lidl ouvert aussi le dimanche, Boucheries, marché hebdomadaire le samedi, etc). A notre arrivée, nous avons trouvé une villa très très propre du sol au plafond. La villa est très bien équipée aussi bien la cuisine que le reste. Les chambres sont grandes, la literie est correcte, les draps sont très propre et les rangements ne manquent pas, les deux salles de bains sont top. Toutes les pièces de la villa sont pourvues d'une ou plusieurs fenêtres. La clim dans chaque pièce fonctionne parfaitement, je conseille de laisser le réglage par défaut à 26. Ca suffit largement. Nous ne le l'avons pas beaucoup utilisé car la villa est bien exposé avec un vent des hauteurs et la température extérieure était à 32° maximum. La terrasse sous le porche est agréable avec les assises nécessaires pour toute la famille. La piscine est très grande, propre, la température l'eau est parfaite tout au long de la journée. La piscine est très bien entretenue par Steeve (très sympathique). Un point très important, la chambre parentale, la cuisine, le salon, le couloir qui mène aux chambres ont une vue sur la piscine. En résumé, nous avons passé avec nos enfants 13, 10, 8 ans, un excellent séjour dans cette villa. Nous avons profiter du calme et du climat pour nous ressourcer. Todo muy bien, a la casa no le falta ningun detalle incluido el menaje del hogar ,esta casa es la que mas utensilios de cocina me he encontradó nunca.Quiza por poner un pero es la television solo se ve la extranjera,no pudimos ver la television española,pero por lo demas todo perfecto incluida la tranquilidad del sitio,hemos pasado unas vacaciones excelentes muchas gracias pir todo.

Maravillosa villa

La casa está super bien equipada, ubicada en un lugar muy tranquilo y con excelentes vistas. Disfrutamos mucho de la piscina, la barbacoa, la mesa de ping-pong, y las playas cercanas, resaltar que la zona de la piscina fue renovada recientemente. Well presented villa and would definitely recommend

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time staying at this well presented, spacious, very clean and well equipped villa. Communication before and during our stay with the hosts was excellent. For anyone who wants to stay within walking distance to amenities the location wouldn't be suitable as most things are at least a short drive away. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa and would happily book to stay again.

The property lived up to all the reviews , Vicky and Geoff kept us informed throughout and provided lots of information on the area which helped as we were looking to potentially buy a property locally . The directions were excellent and all the guidance was spot on. The villa was lovely, clean and very well equipped and a lovely setting , quiet and peaceful but with an excellent value bar and restaurant 5 minutes walk away, the views across the mountains were stunning even when the unusual weather conditions set in we had a stunning light show ! The surrounding areas had everything you required and were an easy 10 or 15 minutes drive away . Ideal for exploring locallly and further afield if required. We can’t recommend both the villa and the owners support before and during our stay, suffice to say we liked the area so much we are now looking to buy somewhere for us Thanks

Quiet and peaceful piece of unspoilt Spain

We had a very relaxed holiday just chilling by the pool. We went to beach in San Juan which a lovely bay with shallow sea. Villa was well equipped with everything we needed and more.

Simply wonderful

After an absence of four very long years, I returned to Vicky & Geoff's villa along with the three youngest of my children (daughter 22, twin daughter & son 19) for a fourth time. As I drove into the village of Cucador on the morning we arrived, the same sense of comfort came across me as it does when I return to my own home after a period away. It's not 5 star Hotel accommodation, nor 5 star Package Holiday accommodation, it's a beautiful, comfortable and inviting home set in a quiet location with wonderful views A home that allows you to escape the frantic aspects of life in the UK yet offers easy and quick access (with car hire) to many coastal and inland towns and villages, each one of them a pleasure to spend time in. My youngest daughter is disabled and is dependant on her wheelchair. With the exception of a low kerb edging from the patio to the pool area (where some assistance is required), the Villa presents her with the opportunity to share the same level of freedom of movement and enjoyment as it does for the rest of our family, an invaluable asset. If your holiday plans involve Night Clubs, Amusement Arcades, Casino's and Shopping Malls etc and, the desire to share them with a thousand other people looking for the same thing, then perhaps both the villa and Cucador may not meet your requirements. If however, you want to provide yourself with life long memories of peace and tranquillity, they most certainly will. We stayed at this beautiful villa in August. We are a family with 2 teenage children, we stayed here last year and loved everything so much we decided while we were there we would come again. The villa was just as fantastic as last year, amazing pool, excellent A/C, extremely clean inside and out - a very enjoyable holiday for all of us. We did a bit more traveling around this year (which was better for the children) the local bar was good, lovely food, good prices and only a 5 min walk - great for the evening when you don't want to go far. Vicky and Geoff are extremely helpful if you have any queries, there is loads of info at the villa to keep you occupied. This is an amazing family holiday villa, I would not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone.

Perfect for families

The villa was ideal for our family of 5, plenty of room for all of us. It was our first experience of staying in a villa and we were really impressed. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy, and the kitchen was well appointed, so we had all we needed. When we ate in, we used the BBQ which was ideal. We were there for the Summer half term and the weather was good enough for us to be by the pool for much of the time. The terrace area is a real sun trap and the pool was just the right temperature. There is a folder in the villa which gives some really good information on the locality for your holiday if you need it. We really enjoyed staying here and will go back.

A wonderful family holiday!

What a beautiful place, we had such a lovely time. The villa was perfect for us, clean, well equipped with all the necessities. With the directions and suggested places to eat and visit, it was easy to get around. Lovely places to eat and a lovely beach for the kids at San Juan. Stunning views from the villa.
