Magnifiquement fini, spacieux appartement au deuxième étage avec

Notre ferme est située sur une falaise surplombant l'océan Atlantique. Nous avons des vues inspirantes, des ambiances paisibles et un cadre magnifique. Nos grands jardins ont des chaises longues et des hamacs pour votre détente et votre plaisir. Il y a un chalet de yoga pour les méditations au lever du soleil ou au lever de la lune et les salutations au soleil ou pour simplement vous asseoir et renouer avec vous-même dans la nature.
Nous sommes situés à la périphérie d'un village de pêcheurs très convivial appelé Martins Bay. Dans le village, vous trouverez de nombreux visages sympathiques, 3 boutiques de rhum (bars) et une cuisine locale fraîche et savoureuse dans notre restaurant (The Bay Tavern) tous les jours. Nous avons également deux petits minimarts et des bus toutes les heures pour Bridgetown depuis le village.
Cet appartement de coût est au deuxième étage de la ferme. Il est très spacieux et ouvert avec des terrasses de chaque chambre, de la cuisine et du salon.
La cuisine est bien équipée avec cuisinière en acier inoxydable et réfrigérateur, micro-ondes et cafetière.

A slice of heaven!

This is a beautiful, remote setting, away from the bustle. Amazing hiking along the trails of the East coast. Bath Beach as well as Bathsheba accessible to walk. Whistling frogs and crickets lull you to sleep every night with the constant roar of the ocean in the background. The farm animals will join beautiful sunrises to start each day. It’s a perfect place to unplug and relax. Delia is an incredibly attentive host as well as a beautiful person. We loved our stay at the Ocean View Yoga Retreat!

Wonderful tranquil stay in the Barbados countryside

We are so pleased we chose Ocean View for our stay in Barbados. Delia was a fantastic host, never intrusive but readily available for friendly and helpful advice and a chat The apartment was large and airy , decorated in a rustic traditional style with wonderful high, wooden ceilings and a big kitchen with lots of useful equipment.The 3 balconies,each with a different aspect meant we could make the. most of outdoor living at all times of the day. Like all the other holidaymakers we were captivated by the views and thoroughly enjoyed lazing in the attractive gardens with interesting plants and bird life, whilst taking in the vast expanse of ocean, the cliffs down to the rugged coastline and the sound of the waves. We also had fun feeding our leftover fruit and veg to the farm animals in the backyard. We chose not to hire a car as we enjoy energetic hikes and our walks included beautiful coastal trails to Bath beach and Bathsheba. We also made interesting round trips along country lanes and tracks to Andromeda Gardens, to St John's Church and to Codrington College . On other days we caught an early bus( 8.45ish seems quite reliable) into Bridgetown and had fun meeting and chatting with the friendly local residents waiting at the Rum shop bus stop. Buses to Bridgetown enable you to explore the island and pick up some shopping prior to returning. (The small village enterprises sell a variety of goods but not often things that we needed and we didn't really come to grips with opening hours). The return bus timetables are not so dependable but they get you back eventually! For anyone with less patience or energy it may be better to hire a car. On restaurants, we had an excellent meal at the Bay Tavern in Martin's Bay on their special Thursday afternoon event and also had good lunches in Bathsheba.We spent our evenings at the apartment enjoying a bit of star gazing.The TV provides a good range of programmes and the WiFi was excellent, For swimming we found the best beaches on our bus outings to Carlisle Bay, Oistins Bay and at Speightstown. Locally, Bath beach provides swimming, sometimes with a turtle! We also had a chance to see the 2 ground floor apartments which are both very good and decorated in a more modern, simpler style. We had a wonderful holiday, thank you Delia, and hope to be able to return. Show

East coast peace coast

It was beautiful and calm. Spent hours on the balcony enjoying the wind and the stars. Delia is a great host: communicative and helpful, warm but never overbearing. I like variety, but I would happily visit again.

Glorious views

Amazing location overlooking the sea on the unspoilt East Coast. Many an hour spent on the veranda looking at the view or the star filled night sky. It felt like we were stopping at a friend’s house. We hired a car and this is a sensible plan as it makes it easy and fairly quick to get anywhere on the island (around 35minutes drive to Bridgetown). It’s an area full of wildlife for example around the gardens we saw hummingbirds and other birds, mongoose, fireflies, and two types of lizard. Delia is a very friendly and helpful host.
