This place is just perfect for a peaceful get away and offers the opportunity for beautiful walks.

This place is just perfect for a peaceful get away and offers the opportunity for beautiful walks. Within easy distance from Beddgelert, where there are lots of places to eat and local shops. The lodge is really comfortable, with several outside sitting areas.The value for money was impacted by the fact we could only stay for 3 days and it was similar to the cost of a full week. We booked late so our fault really!Would definitely go back but for longer this time. To be recommended

Een mooie cottage op een prachtige locatie! Dichtbij het dorp Beddgelert met een kleine levensmiddelen winkel een aantal gelegenheden voor eten & drinken en een lekkere ijswinkel ;-). Vanuit de cottage verschillende activiteiten mogelijk (wandelen, MTB-en, verschillende bezienswaardigheden). en de communicatie met de eigenaar verliep erg prettig.

We had a fabulous week in Snowdonia, just before Wales went into its 'firebreaker'.

We had a fabulous week in Snowdonia, just before Wales went into its 'firebreaker'. The standard of accommodation at Glan -Y-Gors was outstanding as was its location. The views from the house were breathtaking in such a peaceful location. Great care and attention had been taken to ensure we had a very trouble -free and relaxing week. The owner contacted us after our first night to check the underfloor heating had been comfortable for us and he altered it when I said it was slightly too warm. He kept in discrete contact with us should we had required any immediate assistance which was very reassuring. The rain shower and bathroom were luxurious as was the spacious lounge with its amazing log burner. The outside space was gorgeous with comfortable chairs to sit and take in the views. Plenty of local walks right from the front door as well as being a very short drive to walk to Snowden and also to the coast. We (2 of us and a dog) felt very blessed to have found this place at very short notice (due to a last minute cancellation) and were able to visit a stunning part of the world during such difficult times. Beautiful luxury wooden cottage in the PERFECT PLACE for walkers.

Beautiful luxury wooden cottage in the PERFECT PLACE for walkers. Everything you would need for a great time away. The village is 2 miles away with a couple of cafes, and a shop that sells everything. Great Mountain & forest views We’ve booked again for next year. Excellent cottage in a perfect location. Nicely isolated but not too far to local amenities. Very spacious and well kept. Fantastic log burner, probably the best shower I've ever had. Excellent holiday with an excellent location within its own woodland area, though sunshine still able to shine on the patio areas. Walks immediately on doorstep. Communication from Robert was excellent from the point of booking to the end. We defiantly book again and have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Beautiful lodge in an area of outstanding beauty. Lots of places to visit. Dog friendly pub nearby. Owners of lodge cannot do enough to gaurantee you have a wonderful stay. Will be returning for sure. Immaculately clean and comfortable

Loved this place, the top spec of the cottage and its superb location gave it top marks. Ideal for couple or family. The cottage is located on a wonderful forest track in Beddgelert forest. Walks from the door. Peaceful, no neighbours closeby, close to a beautiful village with pubs and places to eat. Good contact with owners who made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return.

Totally amazing cottage nestled in the forest Just ideal for anyone wanting a private and secluded get away without being too far from the village of Beddgelert. We visited Glan y Gors Cottage on the 2nd of March 2019 & had the best time staying with our two Bedlington Terriers Hobie & Holly. Unfortunately the weather was not very kind to us but we still managed some lovely walks straight from the doorstep & there is no better place to be stuck indoors on a rainy day than here. Totally immaculate interior with views to die for from every window. We had everything we could possibly need and more the owners have thought of everything. The log burner is the best I have ever seen & being centrally located in the lounge dining area it gave off a great ambience and kept us cosy while watching the rain last down outside. A dream location for relaxing & adventuring Can't fault this beautiful place. Thanks to the owners Rob & Jane for making this the perfect holiday home and also for the Welcome Pack which included Procecco Chocolates & Crisps, just great for an afternoon treat whilst relaxing in front of the log burner. Would totally recommend this property? A big fat 10 out of 10? ?? Ian Karen Hobie & Holly
