We had a lovely stay in the rustic barn on a working farm surrounded by beautiful countryside and very close to historic Ludlow.

The Whitemans are welcoming and helpful hosts.

The Whitemans are welcoming and helpful hosts. The location of the barn is beautiful, particularly if you are a keen walker or nature-lover; it is very quiet.The museum complex at Ironbridge is a great way to spend a few days.The barn itself is very spacious and plenty of space for us all to spread out. The rooms are comfortable, homely and well-equipped. Would recommend.

Rural retreat on a working farm

This property was such a lovely place for our weekend away, in beautiful countryside and on a traditional and very attractive farm. Margaret and Tom were welcoming, friendly and very helpful to ensure we had a good stay. The decor is old fashioned and down to earth, but as long as you're happy with that then I'd highly recommend staying at Stoke Farm Court Barn. The outside space in particular is great (and the nesting house martins) - there's more than you see in the photos!

Half term break

The barn conversion is set in stunning Shropshire scenery. When we arrived we received a warm welcome from the owner. The property is warm and comfortable with many original features. There was plenty of room for the 11 family members in our group - lots of comfy armchairs, and pretty bedlinen on all the beds. The kitchen was slightly small for so large a group but we managed without a problem. There is a large Sainsbury's store within easy reach and we found plenty to do.

Weekend away

Brilliant place to be able to get together with friends. Great space really enjoyed ourselves. Hosts really friendly. Exactly what we wanted.

Wonderful cottage for a large group meeting up. Excellent bathroom ratio to the bedrooms. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Decor was a little dated but still had a lovely homely feel.

Wonderful large barn, very comfortable and felt immediately settled.

Wonderful large barn, very comfortable and felt immediately settled. Owners are fantastic and nothing is too much. It's on a working farm, so lots of farm type stuff going on, but accomodation is separate. Quiet and peaceful, even the sheep are quiet. Lots of easy parking and so much to do within a half hour max drive. Will definitely be back !

Lovely character barn with nice fenced in space for BBQs, pumpkin carving and enjoying late afternoon sun (if you’re lucky) Warm, friendly welcome from Margaret and Tom Plenty of space so although there were 10 of us we didn’t feel on top of each other. Accessibility v good for wheelchair user Beautiful part of the world and great for conkers : ) There perhaps isn’t loads to do on the doorstep so you need a car Overall very good for family get together with wheelchair user (it was quite wet when we were there - an outdoor wheelchair and separate outdoor wheelchair was helpful). Thanks for having us

The barn has rare, excellent disabled facilities that the owners are more than happy to adapt to individual need. Spacious and well equipped. Perfect for a family holiday/ celebration.

We had a fantastic week long holiday. Stoke Court Farm Barn is a cared for and well equipped cottage with super comfy beds in a lovely rural location but with easy access to local sights and some great walking. The owners are friendly and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better place to hold our family celebration.

We had a wonderful weekend with 7 adults and 8 children, aged from 10 down to 3 weeks. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly but not at all overbearing. The accomodation was perfect - spacious but contained enough not to have to worry where all the children were! A great weekend, we'd highly recommend this accomodation.
