A perfect place for a family holiday.

A perfect place for a family holiday. We had the most amazing week over Christmas in this amazing place. Sandy the owner was so friendly and accomodating. he made our stay so comfortable with a welcome pack, a welcome smile and a friendly wave everyday when we were walking the dogs. We are a family of 4 generations and this house was accommodating for all. The bedrooms are spacious, beds are so comfortable and the house is so warm throughout. The kitchen, especially, is amazing. There were many happy memories made round the table while the dogs rested in front of the aga cooker. The hot tub is magnificent, it has spectacular views and situated perfectly to make you feel like you are on top of the world. The photos of this property are amazing however i do feel they don't do it a true justice, in real life it is better. i would highly recommend this property, we will definitely be visiting again. We had a lovely week in this cottage on a working cattle farm.

We had a lovely week in this cottage on a working cattle farm. The cottage was clean and warm with comfy beds. There was plenty of space for mucky boots and a drying off dog! The open fire kept us warm on the autumn evenings. We enjoyed the added bonus of the hot tub every evening. It was so peaceful - one Km down a track from the road. A very warm welcome and a very comfortable cottage. The hot tub was clean, hot and had a lovely view! An excellent location if you are into archaeology as there are many sites to visit in the area. As it's a working farm there are cattle and sheep to look at and the farmer and his staff were very informative. Great for kids and teenagers. The best holiday cottage we have stayed in. Highly recommended.
