Cute old home in the middle of Coeur d’Alene

We had such an enjoyable weekend in Coeur d’Alene with our boys. The house is walking distance to shopping, food, park, etc as everyone else has said. The welcome basket was tailored to us and we really enjoyed it, that was a special, unexpected touch. We enjoyed Silverwood and the Hiawatha trail as a family, both doable distances from the house. House was comfortable, as other reviews said - the AC works great, our boys enjoyed the backyard, and the house was clean though maybe not as supremely clean as many of the reviews claim (hairs on sheets and bathroom floors, but I’m usually more critical and see those things more than other people and I know that). Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and would definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent property. Thoroughly enjoyed the home, the backyard and the neighborhood. Easy walking distance to the Lake and downtown.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Great location, 3 blocks to Lake Coeur d’Alene. Boat launch, park, splash pad, all within a few blocks. Walking distance to downtown area and several restaurants and shopping. The house was very clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, washer, dryer. Has a nice backyard for relaxing outdoors. There was one issue with the BBQ, but Nancy sent a brand new BBQ the same day, within hours. Very responsive, was extremely empressed! Would love to stay at this location again. Highly recommend!

We had the absolute best stay at this gem of a home! It was the perfect Coeur d’Alene experience. With fresh flowers and local treats, the house had the most amazing details and was incredibly spotless. We walked down to dinner, over to the lake - the location was fantastic. We’ll be coming back to CDA and staying at this location again!

Great location and house

Nancy was great at communicating and helping out. She even went above and beyond with sand toys for my 5 year old. As others have said two bedrooms upstairs and two in the basement. The location is perfect to walk to town, the beach and a massive kids park. I would stay at this location again.

Clean house and lovey neighborhood walking distance from the beach, hiking around the park, downtown shopping area and only a block to the grocery store. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Two of the bedrooms were on the main floor with a bathroom and two of the bedrooms were in the basement with a second bathroom - in the heat of the summer my kids loved the coolness of the basement rooms. The backyard was well appointed with nice seating area and we made steaks on the gas grill one night. Plenty of towels and comfy couch for a movie night after a gorgeous hike one day.

Perfect Cozy Retreat for Our Family!

We had an amazing stay at this little home during our daughter’s softball tournament. Our family of six (2 yrs to 14 yrs) felt right at home! The backyard was a fantastic space for our little kids to play. When Saturday turned rainy, we all cozied up inside and enjoyed the charming, cozy atmosphere with a puzzle. The cute kitchen was perfect for our needs. We loved being so close to coffee shops and restaurants, and the friendly neighbors and the safe street parking added to our positive experience. Highly recommend this place for a family getaway!

The house worked great for our group of 3. The kitchen has sitting for 4 and the backyard table has sitting for 4.

Great house location and host

Great house that was described well in the listing. So close to downtown but also very quiet. All questions we had were answered promptly. Lots of amenities. Backyard bbq and lots of seating. Kitchen fully equipped and plenty of towels. I would recommend this location without hesitation. And the lake was 10 min walk to get too. We would come back to this house again!

Perfect!

Perfect size for my family of 4 with extra beds to spare. The house and neighborhood are adorable and the location is terrific! Super clean, comfy beds, high quality linens and towels and stocked with everything. We loved the backyard and fire pit at night. We will stay again if we return to CDA!

Nice location, lots of beds.

Very nice little house, same for backyard. Direct neighbor's dog was really loud and annoying but others were great. Basement is pretty dark, kids may not like it. Upstairs is all done clean and bright. Thanks.

Perfect location and sweet property

You can’t beat the location! Easy walk into downtown, to Tubbs Hill and to Sanders Beach. Air conditioning works great which is important during the hot Summer months. Perfect backyard for relaxing and grilling. Quiet street. Well stocked home with essentials. Older home with very squeaky floors and downstairs sleep areas need some updating with new bedding etc but overall a great stay. Would stay here again.
