Wedding Weekend on the Lake

We had a small wedding at the house, and I could not imagine a better place to bring family and close friends together. We had blessings from a Bald Eagle, Coyote (across the lake), and a Deer mama gave birth the day of the ceremony. The home and property was very serene and no one wanted to leave! Both family members and friends have plans to come back here in the future.

Thanksgiving with family

Amazing Property!

Place is beautiful! So serene. We enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the wildlife every morning and night. The drive in on the old wagon road was amazing! So many waterfalls! Definitely recommend!

Beautiful Oasis

The property was as described. Words can’t describe the beauty and off grid experience. We hiked, kayaked, fished & swam. Blackberries were plentiful so we made cobbler & pie while there. We appreciated the experience and will plan another trip there in the future!

Heaven on Earth

Our group loved staying at this beautiful lake property. The cabin was comfortable and there was an abundance of outdoor activities to choose from. We especially enjoyed kayaking on the lake and picking blackberries. This place was absolutely incredible. We are planning on a return visit for next year. Thank you so much!

Hidden retro gem

This is the second family vacation we’ve had at this property and our family loves it. The property is so peaceful, spacious and private. We couldn’t use the lake because of algae this year (couldn’t be helped by the owner) but we still had a lovely time. This property steps back into an early 1980s vibe so it was fabulous for us Gen-Xers! Definitely want to come back again in the future.

Harvest Moon

Best location to disconnect and go off grid. No light or noise pollution just devoted time with family and nature. We had the awesome privilege of watching the harvest moon crest over the Eastern sky on a clear night sky. If this place is not on your list your missing out😁

Magical

This cabin is one of our favorite rentals ever. The view is spectacular, and the property is very peaceful. It has a trail around the lake and numerous old logging roads for hiking. It is a great spot for birding, too. The cabin is well equipped with nearly everything you will need---just bring plenty of food because it is a long drive to any store. But, really, we didn't want to leave the property at all. We are already talking about a return trip. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Location

Second time staying here. Beautiful lakefront location all to ourselves. We arrived to find a note that the electricity was not working in a large portion of the cabin. Fortunately all major appliances worked, but this was still very inconvenient and affected the quality of our stay. Things happen, and we managed. Very well stocked and generally clean, but lots of bird poop on the front porch and on the chairs around fire pit on both visits. All in all, a great place to get away for a family retreat in a very private location.

Wedding

What an incredible experience. Not only we’re we able to celebrate our special day we made and shared memories that will last a lifetime. Our wedding was better than the fairytales and our time spent with loved ones goes without compare. Maggie and Kc were absolutely amazing we wanted for nothing and they anticipated needs we didn’t even know we had. My family and I look forward to returning many times to come. Truly grateful for our stay at this hidden gem
