Beau bungalow attenant au lac de pêche

Parfait pour les longs séjours et très populaire auprès des personnes qui rénovent leurs propres maisons et des familles en visite dans l'Essex depuis l'étranger. Le bungalow est situé dans une zone semi-rurale, en retrait de l'une des routes les plus prestigieuses de Billericays. La propriété se trouve sur un terrain de cinq acres accessible par une longue allée de gravier, avec des champs adjacents et un lac de pêche bien approvisionné offrant intimité, paix, tranquillité et une vue magnifique.

Le bungalow comprend une cuisine entièrement équipée, une salle de bain complète avec douche séparée et baignoire double, une grande chambre double, un grand salon et une véranda. Avec un mobilier moderne en chêne massif dans la chambre et un salon et des meubles en osier dans la véranda sur un sol en chêne massif. La cuisine, le hall et la salle de bain reposent sur un sol d’ardoise noire polie.

Le bungalow dispose d'un grand parking et de son propre jardin. Vous pourrez également vous promener dans les champs adjacents et pêcher dans le lac aux carpes, bien achalandé, sans frais supplémentaires. Un petit bateau à rames est disponible si vous osez.

Je travaille de la maison à la ferme, donc il y a une petite quantité d'aller et venir, mais l'intimité accordée au bungalow n'est pas affectée car le bungalow repose derrière ses propres portes en bois dur, ses haies et dispose d'une entrée séparée pour la résidence principale.

Le Stock Brook Country Club et son parcours de golf de compétition de 27 trous sont accessibles à pied. Le parcours de golf et country club de Crondon Park se trouve à seulement quelques minutes de route. Les deux sites ont également acquis une réputation de lieu de mariage de premier choix dans l'Essex.

La gare Billericay assure des liaisons directes avec la gare de Liverpool Street, avec d'excellentes liaisons avec le réseau de métro, rendant les excursions d'une journée à Londres indispensables.

Marvellous location

Out of the way accommodation with wonderful view but within few minutes drive of many facilities. Andy could not have been more helpful, the perfect host.

Very nice people and perfect guests. I look forward to hosting Kate and her husband again in the future. Communication with Kate was easy with quick responses. I’m glad they enjoyed their stay.

Beautifully presented bungalow in a rural setting but close to the town

We were exceptionally impressed with this beautiful bungalow and the host Andy. The top quality furnishings, linen, and kitchen ware gives a luxurious touch whilst being very comfortable. We stayed in December and the Christmas Tree was a lovely touch. The bathroom has a large bath and a powerful shower. Kitchen is well equipped and includes a washing machine and separate dryer. There is a super king size bed with a lovely mattress. Also amble hangers in the 2 wardrobes. The property was warm and cosy throughout. We did note that there is air conditioning for the Summer nights. The outlook from the property is over green fields with a view of the lake in the distance. There is a large conservatory which provides additional space and light. The property is accessed by security gates so feels a really safe place to stay. There is amble parking as well. The property is next to the owners so if there is any issues they are on-site to assist. In summary, a beautifully presented, secure property in a lovely rural setting but close to shops and amenities. Highly recommended - we will be back!

Perfect bungalow

We had high expectations of this bungalow, from the photos online and we were not disappointed in any way. For a one bedroomed house, it’s very roomy with an extensive lounge and conservatory directly off it (no doorway) which was great as we had many visitors during our week here. A lovely, comfortable bedroom with huge wardrobes meant that we could store away a lot of our stuff. The kitchen is also bigger than it looked in the photos and was pretty well equipped. Everything in the whole place was clean and in good order, although we have a tiny niggle that the dishwasher racks are probably ripe for renewal, but the dishwasher itself worked just fine. The decor throughout was quite modern and of a better standard than you tend to get with rentals which accept dogs, this was much appreciated. The bungalow itself had lovely views and great walks which we couldn’t enjoy in such wet weather but it is not the bungalow’s fault that it rained so much! Being ex-locals ourselves, we knew how well placed it is to access both the A127 and A12, but even we were surprised how rural the location was, although directly off a road we thought we knew quite well! Andy the owner was a pleasure to deal with, he answered messages straightaway but otherwise stayed away so although his house is nearby, our stay was quite private. His dogs come in for comment in another review: all I can say is yes, they did have a bark-off with ours a few times with our two (not sure who won) but they were not pests at all, were completely contained in their own garden, were quiet nearly all the time and certainly at night and personally, I thought they were beautiful and didn’t mind their company at all. I’d have no hesitation in staying here again, it was a very nice base for us to see extended family and had plenty of parking so they could come to us too. Thanks so much, Andy, for enabling us to have a much needed break in your lovely bungalow, it was just what we needed!

Holiday bungalow in Stock

Nice modern bungalow which was well appointed set in lovely quite counrtyside spoilt by owners two threatening German shepherd dogs barking a good part of the day. There also was a high pitch noise 24 hours a day which we thing was coming from the owners air conditioning units. The bath is very deep and very difficult to get in and out ofas there were no grab handles. King size bed is too big for the room and we kept knocking our legs getting past it.The bed was hard and the duvet heavy. The thermostat light on the oven was not working so it was difficult to know when it was hot enough to use. We were offended by the choice of pictures on the walls of the bungalow.we thought they were inappropriatefor a rental property. Unfortunatly we will nor be staying here again.

I was saddened to read Martins review especially as this is the first negative review that I have ever received. To say that the review is inaccurate and narrow minded is an understatement. I am especially upset that he didn't communicate any of his concerns during his stay and given me a chance to make his stay more pleasurable. Having said that you can clearly see from the property photographs the style of the wall pictures, the size of the bath and the fact that it does not have bath grips. Perhaps a little more care on the research before you book Martin! There is stacks of room surrounding the bed, over 1.5m on each side and admitted it is not so much at the foot of the bed, but all beds the same length and the bed fits with ample room all around. Yes, the dogs do like to have a good bark at the Ocado delivery driver but that is once a week. They certainly do not bark constantly! The dogs are in the neighbouring property and have no access to the bungalow. The bed mattress is of the highest comfort, memory foam and cost over £1000.00. No body has ever complained that it is too hard. Frankly Martin, when it then comes down to the duvet also being too heavy I cant help but wonder if any of you argument is valid or constructive.

My overall impression of this property is absolutely fantastic. Superb surroundings. Very peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of open spaces for walks etc.excellent facilities and property owner/manager would highly recommend

Lovely home from home

We stayed here for a few weeks between house sale and purchase and are really pleased we managed to find such a lovely home from home. It is a lovely property, good size and nicely furnished. Great situation, quiet but near to Billericay shops by car. Nice dog walks nearby and we also enjoyed walking round the lake (where we had good fishing) and dogs enjoyed a swim. Andy went above and beyond what could be expected and so helpful. Very quick to respond to questions before we booked it too. Cannot fault a thing. Definitely recommend. Thankyou.
