Beautiful property very close to the beach and the local shops. Also looks out onto the golf course at the back where there is a big patio.Large flat overall but 1 small bedroom with a single bed. The master bedroom was disappointing because it only had a double bed in a room that could very easily have a king bed. Far too small a bed for a couple to sleep in..it is 2025 after all. Time for an upgrade there!I would give the flat a 5 out of 10 for cleanliness.We could not use the freezer as it desperately needed to be fully defrosted.Otherwise the kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were quite spacious.

Mark Thank you for your review. I wish you had let us know about the issue with the freezer and the overall cleanliness. You will see from all the other reviews this has never been an issue and it is something we take very seriously. However, we cannot resolve problems that we aren't aware of. I will pass the comment regarding the double bed to the owners. This has not been the subject of previous guest comment and the listing is quite clear that it is a double bed. Lovely cottage & great location

Golf View is very clean and bright, while feeling warm & homely. It had everything we needed for our break in Elie. There was plenty of space for a family of 4 and our small dog. Great to be able to walk to the beach. We enjoyed dinner & coffee at a couple of local places and walked to the bakery & deli, which were near the property. Super base for exploring Fife - St Andrews and Anstruther are a short drive away. Although the apartment is a bit more expensive than we usually pay, we had an enjoyable stay & would like to return in the summer to make more use of the garden.

Amazing apartment in beautiful old golf hotel, now apartments, adjacent to the Elie Golf Course, and a 2 minute walk to the beach, spotlessly clean and very well appointed, with beautiful furnishings, excellent towels and bed linen. Great to have fast wifi and even a sea view, if you looked between the houses. Elie is a beautiful town with amazing walks and incredibly friendly people, The Station Buffet Bar, was excellent as was The Ship and the Elie Deli is to die for, with wonderful cakes and fresh croissants every morning, honestly it was difficult to find any faults with this wonderful place.

The perfect beach & golf location property.

I've just come back from having the perfect summer break. Couldn't fault this property at all. Perfect location for golfing and the beach. Very well equipped. Everything thought of. A seat in the sun at the front and the back, as the sun moved. Shops were very close by. Thankyou for a lovely stay, hope to be back next year if we can get fitted in.

Perfect Family Holiday

As soon as we arrived we were delighted with everything -it was bright , clean and well equipped. We loved the patio looking out to the golf course. Fantastic location for grown ups and little ones. Great for parking. Cannot convey how happy a holiday we had.

Dog walking holiday

This was a superb property the appliances, soft furnishings and decor were excellent. It is centrally located in the heart of Elie with the golf course and beach very close. We loved walking the Fife coastal to Anstruther. Would highly recommend.
