Univ. of St Andrew's Alumnus Return

Our stay was outstanding and made better by perfect weather. This home was wonderful, beds were warm, showers were hot, and the elec fireplace heater made for a nice atmosphere in the evenings. Beautiful view out of the front windows was very inviting. A very convenient short walk to the city center made everything accessible.

Visit to St Andrew

What a great space and location to visit St. Andrews. The space is near everything in downtown and the Univ. Of St. Andrews. I would highly recommend this space for anyone staying in the area.

Lovely spacious flat - very comfortable and so close to town. We ate in a lot and kitchen was easy to navigate - shops were also close by. It’s a great town to visit.

This property is in a good location near the town centre. However, we were disappointed with the fact that the single bedroom in the property was very small and narrow. One wall was covered by a massive notice board and the space felt extremely uncomfortable. There was no room for a wardrobe and only one hanger on a pole was provided. As there were no photographs of this room on your website I feel that the advertising of the property misrepresents its true nature. It is actually a two bedroom property masquerading as three bedroom. For this reason I would not recommend this property to anyone looking to rent three bedroom accommodation in the area.

Graham Thank you for this. I'm sorry but I can't agree with your characterisation of the apartment. It is a 3 bedroomed property and has been let as such for over 10 years. We have had no other guests (from hundreds that have stayed) that have levelled this complaint. The single bedroom is small but has a chest of drawers and a hanging rail - there are ample hangers in the apartment. Kind regards David Fife Cottages

Great for walking to the beaches and a lovely park and woodland walk for the dog. Spacious accommodation with all necessary amenities 👍 will hopefully return.

Great location to explore St. Andrews

This location can’t be beat, just a couple of blocks to the center of town and on a lovely pathway. There are five twin beds, with two pushed together to form a king. The only issue we had was with the internet, which was very spotty for the first few days. The owner contacted us and it got cleared up. All in all, a great stay!

Excellent location, warm and homely

We stayed in late December. It was freezing outside by warm inside. Great location within walking distance of town and all sites. Nice living areas, good beds. Clean and tidy. Good wifi. Would highly recommend. We found free parking nearby relatively easily. Note that there is pedestrian access only to this site (about 50 metres from closest street). That was fine. Only minor quibbles being size of the tv, a bit small, and no hairdryer. Otherwise a really fantastic experience. Would stay here again.
