Situé au Ranch Store Center dans le magnifique centre-ville d'Oracle AZ, à seulement 30 miles au nord de Tucson et à 10 degrés de refroidissement.

Sherman Cottage est un endroit idéal pour s'éloigner de la chaleur et du trafic de la ville. Ce chalet d'une chambre comprend une cuisine entiÚrement équipée, une salle de bain complÚte et un patio arriÚre silencieux. Avec un lit queen dans la chambre et un jumeau supplémentaire dans le chalet, il pourra accueillir 3 personnes trÚs confortablement.
C’est un lieu d’inspiration pour les Ă©crivains et les artistes. Un cadre calme et paisible attend ceux qui veulent s'Ă©vader.
Arrivée à 15h, départ à midi.

Nous sommes à quelques minutes de Biosphere 2, du parc d'état Oracle, du ranch 3C, de Rancho Robles et de l'Arizona ZipLine Adventure (rendez-vous en ligne pour réserver ces visites)!

Directions: Depuis Tucson, dirigez-vous vers le nord sur Oracle Rd, passez par Catalina et Oracle Junction à Oracle (approximativement 9 milles jusqu'à Hwy 77 de Oracle Junction). Prenez Oracle désactiver ce qui devient American Ave. Aller 2 miles à 1015 W. American Ave. Tournez à droite dans le Ranch Store Center.

De Phoenix, prenez la sortie 60 Est jusqu'à Florence. Prenez la route 79 jusqu'à Oracle Junction. Allez à Oracle environ 9 milles jusqu'à l'autoroute 77. Prenez Oracle désactiver ce qui devient American Ave. Allez 2 miles à 1015 W American Ave.

We liked staying in this cozy sweet cottage. It is very quiet, so restful. The bed was very comfortable!!The hosts are great! Coffee and snacks are plentiful. We would stay again!

Great location and great host

Sue is great and she will help you with anything needed. Location is great and just 9 mins away from Oracle State Park and night skies are beautiful here.

Quiet, cozy, comfortable beds, Sue has the magic touch for combinations of contemporary and period pieces. Well stocked kitchen, appliance options, full supply of water in fridge much appreciated in August. Easy code front entry, private parking; rear access w/patio. Small A/C unit did a great job on keeping cottage cool...turned it off for most of the night. Loved the little desk...spent evenings there catching up on photo editing & notes. Great location for easy access to points of interest for me: Biosphere 2; Oracle State Park, historic churches, Oracle Cemetery, Butterfly Garden; Local library (Great 'Southwest Room & Artifact Collection). Fascinating exceptional metal artwork on site, but clutter distracts from artwork. NoWiFi was not a problem...too busy to notice! Would recommend to friends.

Lovely spot, and Sue always fills the fridge with my preferred beverages and snacks. I attended the Rammed Earth Construction Workshop. The location is within 10 minutes of my class.

Cozy haven in central Oracle

I had a lovely, peaceful stay here. The location was very near my activities in Oracle, right on the main road. It was a breeze getting everywhere I needed to go. At the end of each day, I would return to my cozy bed. I had everything I needed and was comfortable. Communicating was easy, and the host was nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Oracle Rumble 50 Miler

We had an awesome experience staying at Sue’s little cottage. She was a very wonderful host. The place was perfect for a couple. Sue provided us with everything we needed. The establishment next door of the antiques/unique stuff was awesome. We definitely plan to come back. 😀

A little piece of heaven

I was in Oracle for work and found this little gem. My co-worker and I stayed at Sue's cottage for four nights and we couldn't have been happier. We had long days and it was so nice to come back to a quiet and comfortable place to relax. Our only regret is we didn't get to meet Sue or explore the area around the cottage. Hopefully next year when we're back.

Quirky, fun, pleasant experience...

It's kind of a strange environment... loaded with quirky old stuff... but, fun. Cottage is crude looking from outside but, very nice and clean inside... well stocked with most anything needed. We really enjoyed staying here and want to return soon for the Wednesday evening party time. The long time owners (Jerry and Sue) are very friendly and excellent hosts. We think most folk would enjoy staying in their Sherman Cottage... and, in the scenic mountain foothills village of Oracle... just a few miles from the famous Biosphere... near a very interesting Zipline complex... beautiful Peppersauce Canyon... and less than an hour from Tucson.

Cozy Cottage perfect for our needs

We needed something small, and comfortable and with a central location between Tucson and Mammoth. This little cottage was Everything that was advertised and then some. You’ll come home to a nice cool cottage, warm cozy fireplace heaters, the most comfortable bed, and most importantly peace and quiet. There is no WiFi and the cell service is spotty but that was perfect for the end of our busy days. Sue Is so kind and just a text away or there in the morning working in the most adorable antique shop. Next time I’m bringing an empty suitcase to load up on antiques! We were able to book last minute and everything was so easy and smooth. Will definitely be staying again next time we fly down from Alaska to visit.

Beware

I just spent 2 weeks at this property and was very disappointed. The property is very old and run down, there is no furnace in it and is heated with two electric heaters that didn't do the job. It was very cold and had snow one day. I ended up going to the urgent care with a bad cold that was the result of not enough heat at nite. The bathtub has porcelain missing around the drain that is not very sanitary. There is no Smoke detector in the house. The oven in the stove wouldn't light and we never had WIFI the entire time there as promised by Sue. There was left over open food in the fridge and cupboard. I would not recommend this house to anyone.

Great spot for a getaway!

I was looking for a place to get out of the city and get in a few days of writing, and this was perfect! Sue was a fantastic hostess, and I was able to write with minimal distractions (there is no wi-fi and no TV, and cell service is limited), but when I needed a break the property had two consignment shops, an onsite store for the lavender farm next door, and even a stand selling coffee, made-to-order omelets, and really tasty chili. Just down the street there is a great little market with a pretty good selection of gourmet foods, including gluten-free options and an Italian deli. The apartment itself was roomy and well-decorated, with a full kitchen, comfortable bed (and two twin beds I did not try), furniture that was both sturdy and cozy, and a cool back patio where butterflies and hummingbirds, and the occasional hoot of an owl, fueled my creativity. I am already making plans to visit again with my husband (or maybe just a couple of friends!).

We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and quiet.

The cottage is very cute , has all the necessary amenities. Enjoyed sitting outside front and back porch, especially in the mornings and evenings. It is about 10 degrees cooler there than in the city. Oracle State Park and Mt. Lemmon nearby.
