The villa is situated on a 4.000m2 property offering a fantastic view of picturesque Gythion and the sea. The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden full of a rich variety of trees, including olive, lemon, orange, and fig. The swimming pool is located in front of a large terrace fitted with a charcoal. The terrace opens up on the open space living room/ kitchen area with built-in fireplace. The house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and can sleep 12. Guests can also enjoy watching satellite TV, listening to music on the CD player and browsing the internet.

Perfect Stay in East Mani – Felt Like Home! Our stay at Mrs. Katerina’s beautiful home in East Mani was absolutely incredible. She is truly the best host we’ve ever had – attentive, kind, and ready to take care of any need. Her home is unique, full of charm, and immaculately kept. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the towels and linens were of excellent quality. We stayed with 11 people, and the house fit us all with ease. The layout and vibe were perfect for a large family gathering, and we enjoyed cooking amazing meals together in the well-equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ. The private pool was a highlight – we used it multiple times a day – and the nearby beach was just a short drive away. Along the road to the house, we discovered several great beach bars and the city of Gythio was only a quick drive for groceries, shopping, and exploring. This property made our holiday unforgettable, and I hope to return year after year. It truly felt like home!

perfect home for a beautiful trip

we stayed in this wonderful villa with three families, beautiful and welcoming house, each room equipped with air conditioning and the kitchen equipped with all comforts. ideal house to handle even small children like us the owner extremely helpful!

Magnifique

Tout Ă©tait parfait ! Que dire de plus ! Magnifique maison, trĂšs bien agencĂ©e et meublĂ©e, magnifique piscine, magnifique vue 
 PropriĂ©taire et intervenants trĂšs sympathiques et accueillants 
 Tout prĂšs du centre de Gythio (2,5 km) et de ses multiples restaurants et terrasses dont les prix sont trĂšs attractifs pour un village aussi charmant. De plus, les grecques sont vraiment des gens chaleureux, accueillants et serviables en plus d’ĂȘtre la plupart du temps souriants. Nous nous rĂ©jouissons de pouvoir y sĂ©journer Ă  nouveau !

A beautiful villa in a great place and a fantastic region

From 30 June to 14 July 2018, our group of nine (two families including five teen-agers 13 to 18 years) passed a great vacation in Danea’s Villa in Gythion. The owner, Katerina Fragkia, was very helpful, always answering quickly to our inquieries or requests. The villa has a good ‘feel’ to it, and is perfectly well equiped (kitchen, rooms, veranda, grill etc) and well situated on a hill side a few kms from the center of Gythion. The view from the villa, in spite of a number of electric wires reminding us of the realities of contemporary civilisation, is great, just like the swimming pool with a magnificent view on the bay. Our teens daily passed hours in and around the pool having a lot of fun. As did the parents. The only critical issue is the noisy (guard) dogs kept by a few neighbouring villas, some which managed to enter the compound of the villa during the night and early morning. To the nearest and very nice beach of Selinitsa, it is only a 12 minutes walk (or a short drive) down the hill on a small road. The beach has a nice shaded terrace and snack bar (the Beach Hive Cafe Bar) offering also beach chairs and umbrellas free of charge. There are many other very beautiful small beaches in the area. A good number of very good and reasonable priced restaurants can be found in Gythion and its close surroundings, most of them around the port directly on the seafront. A great place to end the day on the beach is with an apero at the Glyfada Restaurant and Beach Bar (up-market) followed by an excellent meal, and enjoy the view of the stranded freighter that rusts away on the beach below. We also much appreciated the windsurf lessons offered by the Ocean Cafe Surf Club on the Mavrovouni beach, south of Gythion (15 min drive from the villa), which we can recommend for young and less young. Gythion is an excellent point for discovering this lovely and somehow wild region, inlcuding highlights as the Mani, the Island of Elafonissos or the old city of Monemvassia. We also did most interesting day trips to the historical sites of Mistra, Epidavros and Mykene. In short, we had a wonderful time in a beautiful place and region. The Julier and Merkelbach families

Superbe

TrĂšs belle maison possĂ©dant cinq chambres ce qui permet de loger une famille nombreuse ou comme nous plusieurs couples. La maison est bien Ă©quipĂ© en ce qui concerne le matĂ©riel de cuisine. Peut ĂȘtre faudrait il une grosse cafetiĂšre Ă©lectrique pour simplifier le petit dĂ©jeuner. En ce qui concerne l'extĂ©rieur rien Ă  dire. Une superbe piscine avec une vue Ă  couper le souffle. Le terrain est grand et l'on peut facilement garer les voitures. La plage n'est pas trĂšs loin. On y va Ă  pied. Le village de gythio est Ă  deux kilomĂštres et l'on y trouve tout (supermarchĂ©. Restaurants etc...) il est trĂšs agrĂ©able de se promener sur le front de mer. Je garde le meilleur pour la fin. Katerina la propriĂ©taire est charmante et parle parfaitement le français et l'anglais. Elle est Ă  l'Ă©coute de ses locataires et fait tout pour que le sĂ©jour se passe au mieux. VoilĂ  trĂšs belle maison bien situĂ©e dans le Peloponese.

wonderful property - great vacations

I am just back from a wonderful week at Danae's Villa in Gythio. We were an Italian family group of 9 people from 9 y.o. to 84 y.o., the villa is perfeclty suited both for kids and elders. The heart of the villa is a big open space living with bedrooms on the side and a patio in front, wich leads to the swimming pool. Every detail is cared for, from perfect overall cleanliness to variety of kitchen tools. We made an extensive use of the grilling facilities of the open air summer kitchen, which is fun but of course not mandatory since there is plenty of choice of excellent and cheap restaurants in the vicinity. The patio is great for meals, the pool is wonderful expecially for kids and very carefully attended every other day. Privacy is total with no vis-a-vis with the other villas of the area. Overall you have the feeling of being in your own vacation house and not in a rented one, since every furniture and every detail is not only first class but clearly chosen with the aim of being enjoyed by an owner. From the patio and the pool you have wonderful views over the coast and Gythio which is itself a quite nice little town expecially in the marina and port area; the hystorical jems of Mystra and Monemvassia are close enough for a day visit as well as the island of Elafonissi which shouldn't be missed with its caribbean-like beaches. Least but not last I must underline the kindess and support of the owner Mrs. Katerina which is more than happy to help and give suggestions. If you are considering a vacation in a greek villa –as we do almost every year- it would be really hard to find a better price/quality ratio than Danae's Villa in Gythio.

Excellent with all comforts

The house is very nice, quiet and full of accessories. Everything is brand new. Swimming pool is big and with a great view. At least 3 wonderful beaches at 5 minutes drive. Full of nice restaurants in the area.... Definitively a positive experience!

Autom vacation in Danae's Villa

Excellent house to stay, very comfortable for the six of us and can hold more. Perfectly equipped for a family to spend the time around the pool or inside the beutiful house, making dinners and BBQ. All new and well maintained. Gythio off-eason is a very pleasent town, and good restaurants are recommended by owner. Katerina is very generouse, can be completely trusted and effectively taking care of all necesary arrangements. Highly recomended villa.

Fantastic villa for a group

We had a really fantastic week staying at Danae's Villa. The group consisted of 8 adults and a young child and the place was just perfect for us. Inside the living space is a very good size with a fresh feel and plenty of seating, whilst the bedrooms are fairly small yet clean and perfectly adequate - we did not spend much time in those. Outside there is a great dining area with long table and large charcoal barbeque for cooking; there is good sunbathing space and the pool is a good size although very deep and unsurprisingly not heated, but it was very refreshing once you were in. We had an inflatable volleyball net which worked well, although it was easiest to play width-ways at the shallow end due to the depth of the pool. The views out to sea and nearby Gythio are fabulous. Just watch out for the big dogs in some of the nearby houses, which could be a bit aggressive at times. The large grounds do have big gates to the entrance though. The location is also very good; only a few km to Gythio and some decent beaches nearby, including shipwreck beach. Overall we had a fantastic week with lots of sun and good food. we would highly recommend Danae's Villa and at €1,800 for the week it was good value when split amongst the group.
