A home from home

Don't let the negative comments put you off booking this place. It's beautiful. The scenery is one that won't disappoint. There are some delict villa's around, but we felt very safe. Guests were also visiting other villa's nearby. The dirt road is bumpy and you will need to hire a decent 4x4 to get through it, but the positive to that meant that you got to enjoy the gorgeous views, from all angles of the villa. It was a quiet, remote location. Villa had all you needed to enjoy your stay and be self sufficient, but you can also visit local places within a short driving distance. We walked to the church, which was a beautiful place to visit - highly recommend. Follow the instructions sent, as at first we found it difficult to find. There is a military base nearby. It is very easy to get confused and go through the military grounds - which we did, but they allowed us to pass through and we were able to find the other way, once light again - we arrived late in the night. Neighbours nearby are friendly, wave as you arrive and leave. Highly recommend this place if you're like us wanting space away from the busy, bustling town but also like to be a close distance to it all. Thanks for a lovely stay :) Clearer instructions for people visiting for the first time would help, it's not sign posted until you're on the dirt track road, but once we found the place, it was fine :)

Lovely Villa with outstanding views

Stayed 10 nights, on arrival we were dubious on the area but we soon changed our minds. We have been visiting Cyprus twice a year for the last 15 years and more I can say this villa was one of the cleanest well kept villas we have stayed in. Modern with a large clean pool views are outstanding bedroom balcony really lovely first thing in the morning. Can't wait to return again next year we have unfortunately already booked another villa for later in the year otherwise would return to this one. Nothing

The property was lovely , just needed to have had a few things sorted out , but when reported to the managing team they sorted very quickly . BBQ wasn’t working and bin bags not supplied . Which really should have been checked before each rental .

This is a long review but we will give you some facts so you can make an informed decision before booking. We booked this place 7 months in advance so they had plenty of warning they had guests coming for a month.The description is correct in that there is a dirt road for over a kilometre. However, at the end of that road you come to a piece of road that used to be pavement, but has fallen into such disrepair and has eroded into potholes and missing so many pieces that you have to carefully creep over it so as not to bottom out on the high spots.You come to several houses that look like you are in a war zone. These houses have been abandoned and most don’t have windows and doors. Those that do have windows broken, tattered blinds and curtains blowing in the wind, garbage piled up so high in some. Empty swimming pools have clothes, books, broken water heaters, and such thrown in. A fence is adorned with an abandoned sofa.There is one house that is occupied as you drive towards this villa and there is a man who has 3 dogs two of which are large, that when you walk by, he sometimes lets them loose to charge at you. The neighbours who live nearby full time, sometimes walk on the road past his place and have been threatened by him telling them to stay off his private road and have had their dog bitten by his dogs. Once you pass this you come to this villa. The views shown on the ad for VRBO are approximately 12-14 years old. The photos show a beautiful uninterrupted v

Et perfekt sted for generasjons familien

Villaen var utstyrt med det aller nødvendigste. Uteområdet var flott med både skyggeplass og full sol. Bassenget var akkurat passe stort. Servicen var upåklagelig. Det ble ordnet med gelender i trappen ned til badet i 1. etasje slik at det ble trygt for den eldste generasjonen og komme seg opp og ned. Var det noe utstyr som ikke fungerte, ble dette byttet ut. Veien frem til husene i området er skikkelig dårlig og dette burde gjøres noe med.

Almost tranquil

The location is 5 star , but the upkeep is poor , loose paving everywhere near the back door and hundreds of mosaic tiles missing from what is otherwise a lovely pool . Cushion covers had been removed leaving bare cushions ! All 3 double beds had broken frames , which also highlighted hair and dust under the beds . The balustrade glazing on the balcony was filthy and took me 3 hours to clean in and out ! After the army base next door , and the local poachers had finished shooting , it was blissfully quiet the rest of the day only interrupted occasionally by a crazed dog literally barking its head off ! Those were the bad bits , would we stay there again , Probably ! It would not cost a lot to bring the property in line with the rental charges !

Great time

Rented the villa for 2 months. Really enjoyed the stay. Management was great and any problems were sorted straight away. Views from villa are stunning as is sunrise. If you want privacy away from the crowds this is the place for you. Thanks Mary, Jules and Costas for everything
