Maison de vacances moderne et attrayante, chaussée des géants et golf royal de Portrush à proximité

Notre maison de ville de trois chambres est idéale pour les familles, les groupes de golfeurs ou les amis. Nous acceptons les animaux de compagnie avec un jardin et des terrains communs. Il y a un jardin à l'arrière avec terrasse ensoleillée et barbecue qui reçoit le soleil de 11h jusqu'à juste avant le coucher du soleil. La maison de ville est moderne, dispose du chauffage central et nous fournissons un feu ouvert pour les visiteurs d’hiver. Il y a une chambre double avec salle de bains, une chambre double et une chambre avec lits superposés (taille adulte). Il y a aussi une salle de bain avec douche séparée. Sky TV dans le salon (veuillez apporter votre carte pour toutes vos chaînes) avec lecteur DVD et système de musique, la chambre avec lits superposés et la chambre principale sont équipées de téléviseurs. Le salon, la salle à manger et la cuisine sont réunis au premier étage dans une grande pièce décloisonnée offrant une vue magnifique sur la campagne. Il y a une buanderie séparée.
Le Portballintrae Cottage est situé à 5 minutes à pied de la mer, du port, de la plage la plus proche et du restaurant. La chaussée des géants est à 20 minutes à pied le long de la plage et du promontoire.
Il est à 8 minutes à pied de la ville de Bushmills, où se trouve la distillerie Bushmills (à visiter absolument), et qui est légèrement plus grande que Portballintrae. Il a une gamme de restaurants allant des restaurants raffinés aux excellents cafés et cafés. Bushmills a une foule de bons magasins avec les meilleurs fruits et légumes et les meilleurs bouchers de la région. Vous êtes à 8 minutes en voiture de la chaussée des géants; Le club de golf Royal Portrush et 5 autres parcours de classe mondiale ne sont que 8 à 20 minutes en voiture.

A lovely few days

This was a great place to stay with our children as we enjoyed the north coast. Lyn was very helpful with our queries before our visit and we really enjoyed our time.

I really enjoyed my stay. Maybe have a stair gate for a young family which would make it more child friendly.

Family trip to Northern Ireland

We had a fantastic time at Lyn's cottage. It was a great location to explore the coast and the cottage felt like home. Lyn was extremely helpful with suggestions for restaurants, places to visit and things to do in the area. It was quiet and peaceful and a 5 min walk to the beach. The nearby town of Bushmills was so quaint and had several good restaurants, coffee shops and shops. We will definitely be back.

Great location

A fabulous little cottage in a great location. Lovely layout with the living area on the first floor to make the most of the great views. Kitchen Well equipped with all you could need. the only small issue was that the seating was well past it’s best and not terribly comfortable which is a shame as everything else was just about perfect. Would definitely recommend this property

Absolutely perfect.

We were so impressed with this beautiful cottage, and it's location is ideal for nice walks, scenic drives and a good choice of places to enjoy eating out etc. Lots of things to do and see on the lovely Antrim coast. A little piece of heaven!

Just back from an amazing weekend at 12 Ballaghmore cottage. Cannot rate this property highly enough. Stunning countryside views, 5 min walk into Portballintrae and peaceful, scenic walk along pathway beside Heritage Railway Track into Bushmills. The property is very homely and is so well equipped. I have never stayed in self catering accommodation that had literally everything you could need. Like a home from home. Lyn, the owner was so lovely and accomodating, as was Tracey, who cleaned the house. This house will definitely be top of our list for our family getaways.

Cosy, comfortable, well equipped cottage in a perfect location

As lovely inside as it looks from the outside, this cottage-style townhouse is perhaps the best equipped self catering rental we’ve stayed in - it has everything you could possibly need - and then some! It was warm and cosy, light and airy and tastefully decorated throughout. The south facing patio area with table and chairs at the back of the house meant we could enjoy breakfast in the sunshine as well as evening aperitifs before the bbq (our weather was obviously good!). The cottage is perfectly situated for walks along Runkerry Beach, golf at Bushfoot Golf Club and tennis at the local municipal court in Portballintrea (PBT) - all of which we did! The owner, Lyn and his agent in PBT, Tracey couldn’t have been more helpful with booking arrangements. I would definitely recommend the property and hope to stay in it again.

Great location

We absolutely loved the location. It was quiet and very scenic. It provided easy access to the Causeway, hiking trails, Bushmills, the ocean etc. Lyn was very helpful and responsive to our inquiries. Given 4 of us were seniors, we would not recommend this as a place for 6 adults, rather, it would be better suited for a family with children. We also found the seating in the living area to be quite tired and not too comfortable. Would definitely recommend this location for younger families.

Causeway Cottage Portballintrae is our private holiday home and we have invested much love and time in making it perfect for us and for those whom we enjoy sharing it with. We have many guests each year, many of whom come again and again. They love the area and and they love our holiday home which we maintain to a very good standard. We think that the furnishings are attractive and comfortable and our other happy guests think the same. I find the sitting room seating to be very comfortable for watching TV, chatting with friends or dozing in front of the open fire after a long walk along the beach. The style of the seating is a matter of taste and opinion and we only get positive comments about the comfort level. I agree that the adult sized top bunk bed may not be suitable for some people but they are loved by children and we have regular three couple visitors in their 60's who are very happy with bunk beds. The sleeping arrangements are clearly detailed in the property description so I am upset that Dawn did not consider this when making her booking and missed out on telling us about the positive things which could be said about our holiday home. There are so many lovely positive things that could be said about our holiday home. The roaring fire in the winter months. The country views from the living area are stunning. It is beautifully decorated by my wife, My cleaner Tracey keeps it very fresh and clean for every visitor. The kitchen is very well equipped with every utensil and gadget needed for Cordon Blue cookery with enough table ware and glasses to host a dinner party for 10. All in all it is a home from home and a lovely haven of peace only 5 minutes from the sea.
