Le Orchard Cottage se trouve dans l'ancien verger de pommiers de la ferme et donne sur un petit ruisseau alimenté par une source. Le chalet peut accueillir jusqu'à cinq personnes dans deux chambres et un lit gigogne. Les installations comprennent un foyer au bois (idéal pour les séjours d'hiver), Internet sans fil et une télévision haute définition. Nous fournissons également des serviettes et des draps. An Absolutely Magical Stay!Our stay at Old Orchard Creek Farm was nothing short of incredible! From the very beginning, the owners made everything seamless by emailing detailed information before our arrival—even while they were on vacation. We felt completely prepared and welcomed before we even got there.Debbie, who was on-site during our stay, deserves a standing ovation. She was truly the sweetest host we’ve ever encountered—attentive, engaging, resourceful, and genuinely kind. She made us feel right at home and was always happy to help with anything we needed.The cottage itself was perfect for our family of four—cozy, comfortable, and stocked with all the necessities. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together.Even though the blueberries weren’t in season, the farm was a joy to explore. Seeing the dogs and donkeys roaming around was such a treat—they were beyond precious and added so much charm to the experience.And the highlight of our entire stay: Luca’s Path hiking trail. Wow. Just wow. With clear directions and a well-marked path, it ended up being one of the best hikes I've ever done. The view at the top was spectacularly breathtaking—the kind of moment that makes you stop, soak it all in, and feel incredibly grateful.Everything about our stay was wonderful, peaceful, and memorable. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories and cannot recommend Old Orchard Creek Farm highly enough. We will absolutely be returning!

Such a quaint mountain home! The real fireplace was a plus since the weather was very cold! I love the porches and can’t wait to return when it is warm enough to enjoy them! The bed was very comfortable and I especially loved the lush Biltmore bath towels!

Beautiful, Relaxing, Romantic, Cozy Escape

What an amazing place. Tranquil, Soothing, Peaceful, Beautiful, Pick your adjective, I could go on and on.This location is amazing. Leave the world behind and just Zen out for a bit. Sip your favorite beverage. Enjoy amazing views. Listen to the babbling stream flowing through the orchard.Come in blueberry season and enjoy pick your own or already picked fresh plump blueberries.Old Orchard has blueberries, apples, grapes, deer and on site hiking trails.Old Orchard has amazing friendly hosts ready to assist or answer questions.Caution! This place could become a habit. A very very nice habit.

Christmas at the farm

We look forward to our visit to Old Orchard Creek Farm every year. The cabin is spacious, well appointed and just lovely. The view from the back porch is a magical place to have your morning coffee. The views from the top of the hiking trail are absolutely spectacular! Johnny and Walter are fantastic hosts. We highly recommend and will most definitely be returning.

Blueberry farm getaway

This was a fun place to stay for our trip around ashe county. It gave us access to hiking and the town was having a fun fair at the local park. It is a lively town with a lot of local fun. The people there are obviously proud of the town!

Beautiful and peaceful

Wonderful place to stay in a very beautiful and peaceful setting. The cabin was everything we needed and more! Lansing is a sweet little town and we were close to West Jefferson and many parks and rivers.

Beautiful & Relaxing

The cabin was just as pictured inside, updated and clean but with nice quaint touches. Photos do no justice to how beautiful and peaceful the property is. It is the perfect balance of “away from it all” without being too remote. Would definitely visit again!

An absolutely magical getaway!

My family and I booked a last minute 3 day weekend and had the time of our lives! It was truly a magical weekend. We went during their blueberry season (it is a u-pick blueberry farm as well) and I was apprehensive about having to share the property with others coming and going... But it ended up being one of our favorite parts! It was so great connecting with families coming to pick yummy blueberries. Ellen at the blueberry shed was absolutely wonderful and my son didn't want to leave her side all weekend. It was a sad goodbye for all of us. We loved our experience so much, I booked our next trip while still on the first trip. :) You can't miss out on the Old Orchard General Store! Get a "magic cookie", or get multiple, because they are so good. We can't wait for our next trip this fall!
