Great little spot close to the beach. Can hear the waves from our bedroom! Everything we needed was already supplied. Would stay again!

The perfect wategos getaway

The studio is the perfect location for a wategos beach holiday. Graham and Carol were very warm and accommodating. We hope to stay again soon 😊

Cute little hideaway

Quiet, private, and accessible by a track through a gully, this was a cute little place with kind hosts and perfect for a solo traveller who wants to just relax and breathe.

Grahame & Carol we’re very welcoming and accommodating. We felt safe and relaxed. Byron bay is a beautiful area and we would definitely stay again.

Studio packs a punch

This was our second stay in this studio which has everything you need for a short or longer stay. Great location for easy access to the beach or for walking to the lighthouse or into Byron Bay.

This is an absolute gem

This is a beautiful property in a stunning location. Our hosts were delightful and very thoughtful. Bed was heaven. Great towels and beach towels. We will be going back!

Little oasis

Lovely little oasis! No breakfast provisions as stated in listing, but that was okay as there are many beautiful breakfast restaurants a short drive away. We saw a wild koala & her joey anout 10 mins away, it was pretty amazing. We throughly enjoined our stay :)

Quite a hike into town

On the plus side, this property was clean and equipped with most things you need. Grahame was very helpful in sorting out minor issues. We did find the room (which is the basement of the main house) quite small overall. There were no windows to open so could feel a bit claustrophobic. I opened the door over-night for ventilation, but it would get very hot (there was air con) over summer. The location at Wategos was picturesque. It is a hike (via the lighthouse walk) into town. We didn't have a car so did lots of walking and would recommend a car if you were staying here.

A beautiful stay in a beautiful location.

A 5 minute walk to Wategos beach which is simply magnificent, we watched the Whales breaching, the big surf, the Sea Eagles hunting, what else could you ask for? The property is small and intimate with everything you need.

Amazing and spectacular

This place was beautiful! Steps from the most beautiful beach and also to an amazing hike up to the lighthouse. We viewed a double rainbow from the top of the cliff! Accommodations were clean and well stocked with access to a washer and dryer. We absolutely fell in love with this place and hope to return. Graham and Carol are very nice people. Thankyou for sharing this beautiful place!

A slice of paradise

Just perfect. A peaceful, private sancturary only metres from beautiful Wategos beach, surrounded by lush tropical gardens and with views of the ocean. Delightful, welcoming hosts. We can’t wait to return.

Slice of paradise

Adored this little place. Perfect spot for a getaway, own private tropical garden and views of wategos. Great set up, really comfortable bed and beautiful clean little studio apartment. Loved it. Grahame and Carol perfect hosts. Hope to go back one day.
