Notre propriĂ©tĂ© est situĂ©e sur plus de 90 acres privĂ©s et accessibles Ă  pied et est adjacente Ă  la Blue Ridge Parkway. C'est un endroit spectaculaire pour se dĂ©tendre et se relaxer. Longues vues sur la montagne et intimitĂ©. 40 vignobles Ă  moins d'une heure de route. Moins de 10 miles de Camp Cheerio. Le parc d'État de Stone Mountain ou le parc d'État de New River sont Ă  une courte distance en voiture pour pratiquer la randonnĂ©e, la pĂȘche, le canoĂ«-kayak et le flottement. La maison possĂšde un porche octogonal massif avec une table pour 8 et une vue imprenable. Il y a beaucoup de stationnement pour au moins 6 vĂ©hicules. Cette maison Ă  5 niveaux / 2 bains Ă  plusieurs niveaux est la maison familiale idĂ©ale. Le cerf et la dinde sont vos voisins. Laveuse et sĂ©cheuse pleine grandeur dans la salle de bain. Nouvelle cuisine avec granit, Ă©lectromĂ©nagers SS et tous les goodies nĂ©cessaires pour cuisiner des repas de famille. 2 Ă©tangs sur la propriĂ©tĂ© permettent de pĂȘcher et relĂącher la pĂȘche. Regardez le soleil se coucher derriĂšre les montagnes tout en vous rĂ©chauffant prĂšs du foyer portable. IdĂ©al pour une rĂ©union de famille ou un rassemblement. Jouez Ă  la pĂ©tanque ou au trou de maĂŻs dans la cour avant. Votre propre planĂ©tarium privĂ© pour surveiller les Ă©toiles filantes. Le maĂźtre a un lit king, 2 chambres ont chacune un lit queen, 2 chambres ont chacune un lit complet et la "kid-suite" attachĂ©e au maĂźtre par des portes françaises a un lit superposĂ© avec un jumeau sur le dessus, plein sur le fond et un gigogne double gigogne. The property is secluded so it is very quiet, very peaceful and on the flipside, if your family is loud, you won't be bothering anyone or cause problems! The view is worth every minute of enjoyment. Plenty area to take walks and explore. The house itself was very clean, cozy and comfortable with even the tiniest of comfort details covered. The beds were awesome, the large living room area is perfect for large groups to gather... I highly recommend this property!

Yearly family trip

We love the house. It has plenty of room and loads of parking. My family has outgrown one house but this house is perfect for some of the family and for everyone to gather for meals and such. Always look forward to our trip to Alleghany county.

Amazing property!!!

We stay in a lot of placesand this was by far the most beautiful place. This is in part the fantastic gazebo attached to property with view of mountains. The owner is clearly focused on their guests and you simply can not go wrong booking this place. You will love it!!!

Amazing

The home and property were amazing. Everything was as described and more! Well equipped kitchen with everything needed. The deck was amazing. Sitting out at night with the Mountain views was incredible! Beautiful home, we hope to come back again.

Girls golf trip

Nice property, quiet, and great views. We were indoors while Tropical Storm Debbie rained for a full day, but we were able to enjoy ourselves with games and napping. A bit of a drive to get into Sparta for provisions and dining out..

Glade valley family vacation

We had 3 generations of family staying here. It was perfect. My mother is 91 years old. Lots of flat area for her to walk easily. The downstairs area in the house was easy for her to navigate. We put the younger generation upstairs. Easy access to hiking, the Blue ridge parkway and Stone mountain state park. We plan to come back next year. Loved it

Get away and slow down

Our stay was wonderful; the house and property are amazing. The owners communication was timely and helpful. It is a large property and can handle many people. We found it just right with our family of six. Everything was clean and comfortable. The ponds are great for fishing and the banks are clean and easy for helping little ones to fish. The views are great from anywhere on the property. We hope to make our visit a yearly stay.

Spectacular!!!!!

Incredible!! We felt safe, comfortable and cozy, just like home. The home’s provisions are perfect!! Even the grill!! The windows allow for immensely enjoying the beautiful view!! Rocking chairs are provided on the most amazing porch!! The grounds are just spectacular!! And sitting around the fire pit at night , gazing at the universe of stars was just stellar!! The most stars we’ve ever seen, what a peaceful experience!! Except, of course, for a very peaceful and quiet nights rest. Julie, our host, goes above and beyond!! We loved how clean the home was and the towels (!!) , I’m sure we were enjoying a spa retreat!!! Missing it already !!!! Thank you Julie for sharing this incredible retreat !!!!

MT Airy days adventure

The property was a great experience and so was the Mayberry days, We had a small problem with yellow jackets swarming from a nest under the window and found 10 in one bedroom. Also on the porch the railing going down the steps broke on my elderly sister and caused her to fall. She was not hurt but I need to contact the owner and cannot find any contact number. If you could provide tht to me I would appreciate it. I want to inform them of these 2 items. I talked to the property manager and she said I should talk to the owner and inform them just so that they would know what happened to the railing. Otherwise we really enjoyed the house and had a great time.

Close to the Blue ridge parkway

Beautiful property and is well maintained. We had extended family get together. Lots of room for children to play. Lots of space to get some alone time when needed. Pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next year.

new year reunion holiday

The house gets the big things and the little things right. The kitchen was roomy and well equipped, the table seats 10 easily, the furniture was comfortable, everything was clean, the property was beautiful and well kept. We did not bother to drive to the state park, we just walked the paths on the property; the ponds were frozen but still fun to walk around. The meadows and woods were secluded and private, but the drive to Sparta was only about 20 minutes.

Perfection on the Parkway

This property is exactly as described and pictured! We had a wonderful time with children and grandchildren and plan to go back next year! Hidden Private Gem

If you are looking for peace and quite along with privacy this rental is for you! The covered porch was so enjoyable to have every meal outside along with the comfortable rockers to enjoy our morning coffee with the view of the mountains. The owner and property manager was very prompt in responding to our questions and request for additional firewood. Great hiking location and abundant fish catching. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This was a super clean house along with great WiFi connection. We hope to definitely be back.

Paradise!!

If you want a place that is truly private, tucked away off the Blue Ridge Parkway with acres and acres of trails, ponds, meadows and beautiful views, book the Bluestone. My family stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my dad’s retirement. We had the best time and built so many memories. I could sit on the porch all day and take in the beautiful view. And the kids had so much fun making smores, rolling down the hills, fishing, and playing yard games. This property is magically

The views and privacy are unmatched but at the same time a short drive into Sparta, Mt. Airy or Galax. The colors for the fall foliage are incredible. We love coming for the holidays and cutting down our fresh Christmas tree.
