Venez profiter avec votre famille et vos amis! Séjournez dans notre maison d’environ 1900 au pays du charbon, Shamokin, PA. Nous avons une combinaison de nouveaux et anciens dans toute la maison. Asseyez-vous sur le perron arrière avec votre boisson préférée et admirez la vue à couper le souffle! Observez le soleil brûler les nuages bas persistants le matin ou les ombres passer au-dessus de la montagne le soir au coucher du soleil. The property is wonderful! We return every year! Beautiful mountain views from the kitchen and back porch! We love the theater room, especially for scary movies in October. It's a quick ride to Knoebles for more family fun. The host provides everything you need for a comfortable stay!

The Pink House (AOAA trip)

Had a fun couple of days at AOAA riding with the family. The house was unique and served it's purpose for us! Very clean and great location to the AOAA trails. Well thought out by the owner and great communication.

Mountain View Retreat

Thanks for a great mini-vacation! Had fun hiking, at Knoebel's, and just generally enjoying the area. Porch sitting was perfect and the theater room was great for a rainy afternoon/evening. Everything was clean and exactly as pictured online. I would definitely stay again.

Awesome Mountain View House

Great house with an amazing view of the mountains! The host provided everything you need to make your stay comfortable like home! Best of all is the awesome theater room where we watched plenty of movies! It's also just a short ride to Knoebel's. I would highly recommend this place!

Phenomenal house!

Great vacation house with all of the small details handled. From Marshmallow roasting sticks to a fully functioning old fashioned popcorn machine with detailed instructions....amazing! Will stay again!

The place was perfect, close to AOAA, which left a short commute to ride in the morning. The entertainment room was cool for watching football games, and the kitchen was perfect for the crew we had.

Great family getaway

Me and my teens had an amazing time in the rental. Everything was clean and well stocked. The theater blow our mind and the kitchen was great space for game night. Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. Only thing it is close to the road so if you small children be mindful otherwise great rental.

Avoid the foggy drive, stay in Gowen City

As usual, it was easy to rent and worked well as we visited family in the area. It also helps me avoid driving a half hour to the hotel. As there is often fog in the area towards the highway, being about 2 miles from our grandkids is a big plus.

Great Mountainside Cabin

Quaint country cabin with spectacular view. Main kitchen and dining area offers a great country vibe, bedrooms good size. Movie theater room very cool, but the view was my favorite part. Spent many hours out back, fire pit and just taking it all in. Will be returning!

Loved the house

Our stay at the Pink house was nothing short of outstanding. The house itself was decorated with such great detail and design. Our children absolutely loved the movie theater and the entire group had a great time hanging out at the BIG table. The host was always available to answer any questions and I would recommend this place to everyone!

Everything you could want

We chose this because of its proximity to AOAA. But the extras made it a terrific experience. The theater room with hi def TV and surround sound allowed us to enjoy a movie as a group. And the large table brought us closer at dinner time.

Perfect getaway

Took my son and some of his friends to knoebels for the weekend. And this house worked perfect. Plenty of space and beds. The movie theater room was a great touch. And the large table in the kitchen was great for card games with everybody. The best part (for me at least) was the porch. Watching the early morning fog roll thru the valley was amazing, and i was lucky enough to catch a nice rain storm on Saturday night

Quiet stay

We stayed here for the mountain hiking and amusements for our kids. The owner was great with response times. I would call this house a sleeper house. Though the outside is dated the inside looks great for the space. The carpeted room was great to let the kids roll around and the large outside kept us outside as much as we could. Only negative we had was the tight stairwell with younger kids. Road is a fast one though traffic is limited. Neighbors say they like the owner. They spoke about how the owner is trying to fix up other properties in the area and keep it clean. Overall a great and safe stay.
