Chalet de montagne rustique

Cabine soeur Ă  Laurel Haven, (# 174640) Chestnut Haven est Ă©galement situĂ© sur 2,5 hectares, trĂšs isolĂ© et paisible. Plafonds voĂ»tĂ©s en bois de chĂątaignier wormy vieux de 100 ans, poutres de marteau lourdes et foyer au gaz avec pierres au plafond. Nous avons un grand hĂȘtre qui sĂ©curise l'escalier avec des brindilles de laurier de montagne rustiques. La cuisine est entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec tous les appareils, ustensiles de vaisselle, etc., et les comptoirs en granit. Les chambres sont confortables avec des draps en coton et des couettes et des Ă©dredons doux. Serviettes de bain en coton assoiffĂ©es sont dans chaque salle de bains. Si nous avons oubliĂ© quelque chose, veuillez nous le faire savoir. Votre confort et votre plaisir sont notre prioritĂ© n ° 1.

Cabin was lovely - very unique and a bit off the beaten path.... We had a wonderful time exploring waterfalls in Brevard, Pisgah Forest and Dupont State Recreational Forest. Oskar Blues Brewery was fun and had great burgers. Highly recommend this property

This is the perfect place for a relaxing get-away. Lovely home and awesome back porch to watch the white squirrels, deer, foxes and colorful leaves. Close to the waterfalls for day hikes. Fire pit for the cool evenings. We can't wait to visit again.

Lovely cabin - even better than pictured. Lots of neat details and art work. We were in town for a wedding so didn’t get to spend much actual time in the cabin, but wish we did! The porch overlooking the woods is so peaceful and we saw deer. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable.One thing to note - it is dog friendly but upon arrival, there was a notice that dogs were not allowed on the furniture. Not a problem, but would have been useful to know beforehand and we may have packed a few more things. Fortunately, we did have their dog beds with us. Again, the stay was great - we would stay here again when visiting family in the area. Highly recommend.

Just what we needed!

Definitely would stay here again! Perfectly located to enjoy MANY waterfalls and surrounding area activities! Was just me and my 8 yr old and he had a blast! Went to Hendersonville to the Hands On Children's Museum twice because it was so fun! Cabin was nice and clean, beds were very comfortable and was stocked with everything you need! Even saw deer and the famous white squirrels everyday! Just the relaxation we needed!

Great place in the woods where it’s quiet and beautiful! Phyllis is the best host! Very attentive and close by if you need anything. This is the second time we’ve stayed. We’ll be back!

Great weekend getaway

Great and relaxing times

We were looking for an escape and a place to relax. This was the most perfect place and I wish we could have stayed longer, this was the most perfect getaway and such a quiet sanctuary. Thank you for such a perfect retreat.

Charming Cabin

Very charming cabin close to Brevard, Pisgah, Dupont and Cashiers. We really enjoyed the gas logs and porch. Great having a pet friendly cabin so close to everything.

Absolutely gorgeous stay!

This home was absolutely gorgeous and a treat to stay in! Felt like home, from the fireplace to how incredibly comfortable the beds were!!! Seriously I have never had such a comfortable bed anywhere but home. What a beautiful October stay we had in the mountains. The hosts were so friendly and timely with all responses.

Cute cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our stay at this place — it’s more like a house than a rustic cabin. And a nice one! It’s surrounded by lots of trees, very clean and fairly quiet. We particularly liked the big back porch and the easy access to the main living/bedroom areas. Only a couple steps to get in. The cabin was filled with fun, interesting antique “knickknacks” which completed our mountain experience. The road up to the cabin is a little bit steep, but not at all difficult to get to the cabin. We thank the owners for their hospitality and hope they are doing okay after Helene.

Beautiful cabin in a peaceful location

This beautiful cabin in the woods has everything you and your family, or friends, need to kick back and relax. My sister and I stayed for 2 nights as I was recovering from recent surgery and we enjoyed every moment of our stay - sitting on the back porch watching the deer stroll by, watching movies in front of the cozy fire, getting a great night’s sleep in the cozy beds with not a sound outside to disturb

Cozy cabin in the woods!

Amazing cabin! Did not want to leave! Cabin was beautifully designed and decorated. Comfy bed with all amenities that one could desire. Loved the back porch. Being able to bring our pup was an added bonus. Will definitely plan a return visit.

Charming cabin in the woods

Custom built cabin with many charming rustic features, lovely outdoor deck overlooking wooded hillside, very private and perfect for small family or group of 4 or 5 people. Owner was very responsive when info on amenities nearby were needed, or minor needs such as a lightbulb replacement were needed. Helpful to have a 4-wheel drive or be comfortable driving up a short but steep, narrow private road. Recommend using the recreational facilities owners offer to renters at the private community of Connesstee Falls.

Summer Stay

Beautiful setting and cabin. A nice suprise is that the owners provided fresh eggs from their chickens. The only recommendation is to provide a streaming service like utube tv or hulu. Roku tv provides limited coverage.

Leave the city behind

The cabin was absolutely stunning inside and outside. My boyfriend loves the outdoors and I was looking for a way to enjoy it with him, this most certainly fit the bill I didn’t realize how peaceful and healing nature is.

Anniversary Weekend Getaway

We had a great time during our stay at this cabin for our wedding anniversary. The property is close enough to downtown Brevard for dinner or anything you may need but in a setting that feels far enough away to unwind. Plenty of outdoor activities close by as well. Phyllis was great in communications before and during our stay which made the process extremely easy. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend this cabin to others looking for a stay in the area.

Good mountain area fishing access

Had a few cobweb issues(kitchen seating counter from wall to under where chair stools sit and the back porch door upper frame) and suggestion would be to get new throw rugs(bath mats) kitchen towels, pot holders and perhaps a better set of kitchen “equipment”. Perhaps most come and don’t cook
but just even having a coffee scoop would help. So I’d suggest bring your own basics that you would regularly at your own home. We used the stovetop, oven, micro and coffeemaker. Has a blender and hand mixer
but did not use. Knives need replaced or definitely sharpened. AGAIN, it’s because we are a cooking family. Just give me a big pot, fry/sautĂ© pan and the matching lids
which was able to make use(they are there). Brought my own cleaning stuff and salt/sugar/etc
so it worked. Yes, I’m probably a bit pickier than typical cabin renter. Cabin itself is a lovely unit.

Weekend getaway

The cabin was very clean and cute. It was great for us to visit with our son at Brevard college and watch him play baseball. Close proximity to DuPont state park and other activities.

The beauty. Nature surrounds and abounds. The peace. The proximity to so many activities. It is central to Dupont State Forest and Pisgah National Forests. Biltmore House is only 1 hour away.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We have tried to bring the outside inside. We have used many reclaimed objects, like the 100 year old wormy chestnut, the claw foot tub, antique sinks in both bathrooms. The laurel handrail and stone fireplace are great focal points in our cabin.
