Even better than the Ad!

So relaxing and easy to live in. Moments to the beach but everything in the house you could possibly need even for bad weather. Both for the grown ups and the kids it was a huge success.

Just what we needed

Perfect place to escape for a week. The house has everything we needed, the pool is nice and warm and lots of entertainment for the teens on rainy days. Thanks so much for sharing your property, would love to stay again one day.

Amazing location

House is 2 min walk from the beach, has own pool and outside shower. Owners are very understanding in letting us have a family get together and having a dog. We will come back again

Great location & facilities

Good design, clean, heated swimming pool a great hit with the kids, well-equipped kitchen, lots of games activities and stuff for kids. The host responded very quickly when we pointed out the overflowing garbage bin.

A Weekend Family Getaway & Proposal!

We stayed here on a weekend in Winter but Pearl Beach and this property provided everything & more we needed for our family to enjoy it. From the trampoline and properly HEATED pool outside to the pool table and double lounge room / rumpus, it was perfect for 10 of us, half being kids. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice beach getaway, owners were amazing and extremely responsive in the lead up to the stay. Minor BBQ cleanliness issue but was solved within 30 mins with a cleaner organised instantly. Very good! 😁

A wonderful extended break relaxing

Had an excellent, excellent time, in spite of a home renovation next door (hopefully finished soon) and the cafe/corner store around the corner being closed. The property itself though is close to perfect. A small (safe) pool, enough backyard to let the pet wander around. You're up high to get the breeze and the sound of the waves on the beach, but the whole place is unbelievably private and (ex construction noise), really, really quiet. It was just wife and I but you can see how it works for family (the kids can be downstairs while adults are upstairs). I also liked that there was always a different eating option (upstairs and downstairs verandahs, inside and out) and an excellent plumbed in gas BBQ. All in all, the best place we've stayed in Pearl Beach by a long way!

Amazing Place to Stay in Pearl Beach

We stayed here with a group of friends and had an incredible time. The house is beautifully fitted out with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The location is incredible - go for a swim at the beach then go for a swim in the pool! The house is full of games and activities to keep everyone entertained. Communication with the owner was also excellent, and she answered all of my questions prior to our stay. Couldn't recommend this property enough.

Perfect house to enjoy the local beaches and walks

We loved the house which was perfectly set up for adults and kids/teens to enjoy down time, alone or together. The kids loved the pool, and we all enjoyed playing pool, exploring nearby walks and beaches. It was a bonus to bing our 1yr old family pet with us, as he loved socialising on the dog-friendly beach! Highly recommended stay for family or friends groups with kids.

So much to do

In the middle of winter and with a raging swell, we were entertained away from the beach with all the house has to offer. Heated swimming pool with swim jets tops the list!

Stress-free family getaway

Shelly’s Family Beach House was a great location for our recent long weekend family getaway. Recently renovated, the clean and very well equipped property had everything we needed to keep three generations of our group comfortable and entertained. With multiple sitting, lounging and dining areas, pool, games, pool table and only a very short stroll to the beach it was a perfect holiday house for our stay. We will definitely visit again.

Great accomodation

The house was lovely and the facilities fantastic. The kids (ages 3-9) enjoyed the space and always had something to do for the weekend. We all really enjoyed the quality of the accomodation and the closeness to the beach and cafe. Great space- look forward to returning for another weekend!

Wonderful Home

Our families had a wonderful stay at Shelly’s Place. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and it really felt like a special place to spend our holiday. The house was extremely well resourced with lots of toys and equipment for the whole family to use. We loved playing pool and using the kitchen. It was hard work getting the kids out of the swimming pool so that we could go on bush walks and visit the great local beaches! We can’t wait to come and stay again. Thank you for answering all of our questions and making the holiday so memorable.

Fantastic for families!

We stayed here with our four year old son in October and the house was perfect for our family. A great location - very quick stroll to the beach and café. The house is spacious with two big verandas and a large fenced yard, so everyone could have some peace and space. The house is comfortably shabby – by this I mean if you have young kids you can relax as it has seen a bit of wear and tear over the years. The description doesn’t say, but there is also a dishwasher in the kitchen, which was a bonus for us. The owner was helpful and responsive on email and text before and during our stay. We will be keen to book again.
