"The Barn", notre maison d’hĂŽtes rĂ©novĂ©e de 2 500 pieds carrĂ©s, a le charme rustique de 1840 et est entourĂ©e de 40 hectares pittoresques de dĂ©tente et de divertissement pour tout le groupe. HandicapĂ©s accessibles. Animaux acceptĂ©s. Nos deux chiens amicaux (30 livres Goldendoodle et 18 livres Havanese) sont sur la propriĂ©tĂ© et sont toujours curieux de connaĂźtre nos visiteurs.

Another fantastic stay!

Our women’s group held its retreat at The Barb for the fourth year. So glad we found The Barb! Each year, The Barb has been updated and enhanced. It’s a wonderful place for a large group (13 this year, but we could easily have had more). Plenty of space to spread out, wonderfully decorated and equipped, lots to do inside and out, responsive hosts, new hot tub and downstairs bathroom, and more—what’s not to like?! We love coming to what almost feels like a second home. Thanks Rich and Lisa!

The Barn was well appointed with supplies that most VRBO's don't have, even a complete cadre of spices and a nice selection of Keurigs.The entire property, interior and exterior was immaculately clean. The welcome basket was a nice touch too.

Best place for Kent Graduation!

This was our THIRD stay at the Barn for our kids’ graduation s. It’s the perfect place for all your family and friends to stay. Lisa and Rich have done a great hob on upgrades since our first stay 3 years ago. It’s like a home away from home!!!

50th Birthday Celebration

10/10 experience. The barn is a perfect location to celebrate with a group of friends. Sitting on the front porch, drinking coffee is a perfect way to start the day. Watching the birds and deer and listening to the pond make for a peaceful start. The fire pit was the perfect place to end the day, enjoying food and drinks and playing games. Lisa and Rich are generous hosts, offering a beautiful, well appointed place to gang out and have fun! We had a blast and can't wait to return!

Best cabin we’ve stayed at!

We do an annual cabin getaway with friends each year. This property is hands down the nicest, cleanest, overall best cabin we’ve been to. The hosts were so thoughtful with the amenities and were great to work with. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone and we look forward to staying again in the future.

Family Thanksgiving celebration

The Barn is spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen is nicely laid out. The bedrooms were cozy and there were plenty of fun games for all. Our family had a wonderful weekend together at the Barn.

Awesome space for our event

I hosted a women's wellness weekend here, and Lisa was very clear and accommodating. I've been here for few family gatherings in the fall and winter - The Barn and its surrounding property are spacious and beautiful, any time of year, with more sleeping space than most properties in the area. At this particular event, the women who joined me loved the barn and got to relax, enjoy the campfire, sit by the pond, cook together in the kitchen, hike at nearby Towner's Lake, and watch movies together--it was a blast! Highly recommend this spacious and cozy property.

Very comfortable place. Would be beautiful in spring, summer and fall. Had family including little ones who had room to run and play. Sooo much better than staying in hotel rooms. Rustic but with all the basics.

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay, there’s some much to do whether you’re inside or out. The pond is beautiful and so clean our dogs really had a blast swimming and jumping around. All of the inside games kept our boys amused for hours. We would definitely stay here again!

Mother daughter weekend

The property and home were beautiful. The house was well stocked with everything you would need. The beds were so comfortable with high end bedding/pillows. We LOVED the front porch for relaxing and the yard was perfect for games and fires in the fire pit.

Holiday weekend

I stayed here with my family and friends. There was 15 people total and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the pond and tennis court. The property was beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Room to spread out

We rented the barn so we could have space to safely visit our relatives in Ohio for the holidays. Lots of room to spread out when they came to visit. Hoping to visit in the summer again when we can take advantage of the lake and trails.

Amazing place

This was our 3rd time staying here and the place is better every time! There was something for everyone, and the ramp and grab bars were very helpful in accommodating family with limited mobility. We caught fish, played pickle ball, kayaked, played games at the large table, and enjoyed the fire pit, and the comfortable beds. Rich and Lisa are so helpful and kind. We highly recommend staying at the Barn and we are looking forward to our next visit!
