We gathered the family together at The Barn for a 3 day weekend stay and Birthday celebration. The accommodations are excellent and do not disappoint. They really have tried to anticipate your every need. The interior, outdoor area and property extras cover all your entertainment and relaxation wants and needs. We are all in agreement that we shall return!

Stunning living space and outdoor amenities . Had 15 family members stay for an offsite wedding, and they all loved the beauty, comfort and vibe. The beds are cozy and welcoming, and all the eating areas made it fun to share meals. Enjoyed time in the kayaks and a beautiful fire in the evenings. Can’t recommend enough.

The Barn was well appointed with supplies that most VRBO's don't have, even a complete cadre of spices and a nice selection of Keurigs.The entire property, interior and exterior was immaculately clean. The welcome basket was a nice touch too.

Another fantastic stay!

Our women’s group held its retreat at The Barb for the fourth year. So glad we found The Barb! Each year, The Barb has been updated and enhanced. It’s a wonderful place for a large group (13 this year, but we could easily have had more). Plenty of space to spread out, wonderfully decorated and equipped, lots to do inside and out, responsive hosts, new hot tub and downstairs bathroom, and more—what’s not to like?! We love coming to what almost feels like a second home. Thanks Rich and Lisa!

Great getaway

Amazing Barn and property that feels remote but is still nearby outdoor adventures and small towns. Would absolutely go back!

We do love exploring the nearby small towns for coffee, breweries, restaurants, antiquing. We just enjoyed fish/chips at the authentic Irish pub 10 mins north.

Best place for Kent Graduation!

This was our THIRD stay at the Barn for our kids’ graduation s. It’s the perfect place for all your family and friends to stay. Lisa and Rich have done a great hob on upgrades since our first stay 3 years ago. It’s like a home away from home!!!

Best cabin we’ve stayed at!

We do an annual cabin getaway with friends each year. This property is hands down the nicest, cleanest, overall best cabin we’ve been to. The hosts were so thoughtful with the amenities and were great to work with. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone and we look forward to staying again in the future.

This place is amazing. Lisa and Rich couldn't be any more accommodating. They supplied us with every thing we needed. All of the guys were thanking me for finding this place, but the Clark's deserve all the credit.

Family Thanksgiving celebration

The Barn is spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen is nicely laid out. The bedrooms were cozy and there were plenty of fun games for all. Our family had a wonderful weekend together at the Barn.

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay, there’s some much to do whether you’re inside or out. The pond is beautiful and so clean our dogs really had a blast swimming and jumping around. All of the inside games kept our boys amused for hours. We would definitely stay here again!

Mother daughter weekend

The property and home were beautiful. The house was well stocked with everything you would need. The beds were so comfortable with high end bedding/pillows. We LOVED the front porch for relaxing and the yard was perfect for games and fires in the fire pit.

Holiday weekend

I stayed here with my family and friends. There was 15 people total and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the pond and tennis court. The property was beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Room to spread out

We rented the barn so we could have space to safely visit our relatives in Ohio for the holidays. Lots of room to spread out when they came to visit. Hoping to visit in the summer again when we can take advantage of the lake and trails.

New Year’s Eve 2022

The barn was beautiful and so clean!! There was plenty of beds for our group, and there was so much to do inside and out! The weather allowed us to enjoy the awesome fire pit, where there was plenty of seating for everyone!

This spring we will be “upgrading” several parts of the property: renovating the kitchen, adding a bedroom & half bath, and making the fire pit a bit prettier. Pls return to enjoy the upgrades!
