The place exceeded our expectations. It was a perfectly quiet place with beautiful scenery and the perfect place for a little get away. The option to kayak in the nearby river was awesome as well at petting some cows and horses. The place was really clean and comfy with lots of games to choose from for some evening time fun and the place was well stocked. Look forward to coming back in the future.

It's the little things....

Churchlane chalet is beautifully designed and well built with quality furnishings. Dee and Steve are exceptional hosts that have thoroughly thought of every little detail to ensure each guest has a relaxing and very comfortable stay. The welcome basket was a wonderful surprise as we walked into the kitchen, as were all the freshly picked flowers in vases around the very clean chalet. It's the little things like this that show just how much effort Dee and Steve go to in creating a truly welcoming atmosphere. The gardens are stunning and full of things to enjoy watching while sitting on the deck. Lots of different birds, butterflies, ducks landing in the pond each morning /afternoon, horses playing in the top paddocks and little bunnies popping in and out of the bushes chasing one another. There was always something to see that made us smile. The kayaks were also great to be able to use down in the river and the chess board was a big hit too! Thank you to Dee and Steve for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to staying again!
