Bien que ce ne soit pas Hilton, Kooringal Beach Cottage est aimé par tous ceux qui restent. La maison est très spacieuse et peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 8 personnes. Il dispose d'une véranda couverte orientée vers l'arrière et d'une pergola, d'une cuisine bien équipée, de toilettes séparées et de toilettes et d'une douche supplémentaires dans la buanderie extérieure.

Vous avez un bateau ou une remorque? .......pas de soucis. Kooringal Beach Cottage, Hat Head est situé sur un très grand bloc avec beaucoup de stationnement hors rue et un accès extrêmement facile.

Very happy with our stay. Across the road from the creek which was very convenient. Very close to the shops as well. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Ceiling fan not working in one main bedroom. We didn't use the BBQ because you had to provide gas, never had that before. Most annoying was checkout time was 9am, instead of the normal 10am or 11am.

Thank you for your feedback — we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry about the ceiling fan in one of the main bedrooms wasn’t working during your stay. Unfortunately, a previous guest had taken the remote control for that fan, which we only discovered after their departure. Until a replacement fan can be installed, additional fans were available in the property to ensure comfort. Regarding the BBQ, we kindly ask guests to leave some gas in the bottle as a courtesy for the next visitors. Most guests are very considerate in doing so, and we aim to keep that cycle of thoughtfulness going. We understand this may differ from some other properties, and we appreciate your understanding. In terms of checkout time, the 9am checkout aligns with Stayz’s policy across the platform and allows our cleaners sufficient time to prepare the home thoroughly for incoming guests — especially during busy periods. Weekend at Hat Head

House was just as described and provided the perfect base for a weekend in Hat Head. The owner was great to deal with and kept in regular contact to ensure that our stay was seamless. A great weekend!

Lovely Stay

This is our second time staying at Kooringal and we very much enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful to see the upgrade to the kitchen. Our family loves the open outdoor space. This home provides a comfortable backdrop for the quintessential Hat Head experience. Looking forward to coming back soon

Little piece of paradise!!

Absolutely loved this hat in arguably the best location In hat head! The house was perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Geoff was a legend and super easy to deal with, highly recommend this property to all! We will be back, thanks again!

It was pleasant.

Kitchen was new and nice and clean. Bathrooms could do with the same spruce up. A previous tenant left food and other stuff in the bins which had attracted a large number of flies which hung around the back terrace area and were a real issue. The ceiling fan helped a bit to get rid of them though they were an issue for us every day. The yard is large which was great and i love how you can drive the car around the back and drive out forward.

Disappointed

The property was advertised as pet friendly but not fenced. 2 days before arrival the owner contacted us to let us know pet weren’t allowed inside at any time.BBQ gas bottle was empty on arrivalWe were charged extra 200 with no consultation a week later for rearranging furniture.

In response - Our cleaner was shocked to find the state of the house, as well as the furniture rearranged. The usual cleaning time takes 1.5-2hrs, but our cleaner had to take an extra 2hrs, with additional help, to reset the house, which cost more than the deposit that was kept. Photos and a full report have been made on how the house was left and we feel more than justified to have kept the bond, in keeping with the Stayz policies. Regards The Owner and house management

Kooringal Cottage

The owner's daughter confirmed with me April 2022 that the property was fenced to contain dogs. This is not true, dogs can't be contained in the yard as it is not fully fenced. I found this out only after paying the full rental and past the refund date. There are no photos of the bathroom posted, I found out why. The bathroom is tiny, dirty and mouldy. The separate toilet is also filthy. The floors throughout the house were dirty. Lots of ants, we left clean clothes on the lounge and they became covered in ants. The baby's portacot (ours) also had ants inside. The kitchen was brand new, clean and well equipped. The oven was filthy and did not heat well, food took twice as long to cook. The fridge/ freezer looked new, was clean and had plenty of room. The house, particularly the large bedroom was unbearably hot and did not have a fan but did have block out blinds. The lounge and 2 other bedrooms had very good fans but no blinds, only light curtains. There is a large, covered outdoor area with a good fan, barbecue and 2 tables with plenty of chairs. Outdoor cold shower was very good to rinse off after a swim. Washing machine worked well. Huge wasp nest on the garage, they did buzz around us alot. Check in was not good, the house was meant to be unlocked at 2:30pm, after contacting the owner it was unlocked at 4:30pm. Location was great with easy access to the river. Very high rates for bottom end accommodation.

Went over the listing 3 -4 times just to double check if I needed to take linen couldn't find anything to say we did. When we arrived no linen....lucky we had a beach towel to use in the shower and had to sleep on the bed covers as no sheets .

Famiy Holiday

The property itself was as stated. The yard and outdoor spaces were wonderful and proximity to creek even better. We found the beds very comfortable and bedrooms of good size. The front room could have done with a ceiling fan/s and the house got quite warm so air conditioning would have been pleasant in the evening. On the whole my family and I enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Wonderful Hat Head

Well positioned near Estuary fishing over the road and shops around the corner. Very quite area and walking distance to Beaches also. Beds etc. very comfortable and good hot shower.

Lovely property. Well set up. Excellent location. An older property very well maintained and very clean. Lovely decor. Very happy to stay again. My only comments are that it needs a new refrigerator. The current one really not working.

Relaxing little break

The house is a basic, 50's- ish cute fibro style holiday house. It's simple and lovely. Easy walk to beautiful beach, river and National Park. We had a lovely time. Close to shop that sells coffee, takeaway food and baisc grocery items. Recommended for families and other groups. Easily sleeps 8..I would stay there again.
