The house and the property were beautiful - beyond our expectations. House has a great layout with everything you need for a very relaxed and comfortable stay. Access to the stunning and calm Wongaling Beach is an added bonus , communication with the owners was easy and stress free.

Awesome Property for Families

Have stayed in many houses in Mission Beach and this property it definitely worth the stay. Very comfortable house with great pool and only steps to the beach which allows house to take in great views to Dunk Island. Will definitely be back again.

Great location

The house is well designed, ideal for a family gathering or group of friends. While the weather wasn't kind to us, we enjoyed a lot of time by the pool, looking out to Dunk Island. Lots of nice small touches including games, books and the kitchen is very well stocked with almost everything you would need (only thing missing from our point of view was a blender). Great area, very quiet. Big walks along the beach were amazing.

Sanctuary on Wongaling

Overall, just what we needed, some real rest and never ending sea vistas. Unfortunately the weather didn't turn it on for us the first few days and no reverse cycle air saw us have to ring the housekeeper for more blankets, we were freezing. Having said that we struck the one week a year when you might need heating, even the locals were shivering! Shame our last morning breakfast on the deck didnt eventuate as the lawn man and pool cleaner arrived at 8am and we had to shut the blinds while we got dressed and packed. Some miscommunication re our departure date me thinks. No one else book this place in August next year please, we want to come back.! Thanks Sylvia!

Apologies for the miscommunication on your last day, only the second time in four years - we'll pay better attention in the future! The evenings and nights are always cooler at this time of year and so it is a really good idea to pack a few pieces of warm clothing. Glad it hasn't put you off planning a return trip. Lovely stay

Lovely location right on the beach, tidy and clean . Well appointed kitchen , great games and books . Appliances modern . Nice laundry area . Great wi fi . Pool very warm this time of year and has minimal shade . Beds a bit firm and pillows too soft for us . No undercover car parking .

The house was amazing with the best views of the beach and very spacious The bedrooms having their own air conditioning was great because not everyone want to use it . We would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing holiday especially with the pool which we used every day Sonja made it very easy with her communication

Luxury home that has it all!

Correspondence with the owner was prompt friendly and efficient. The property is gorgeous . Location right on the beach with magnificent views. Everything one needs for a relaxing stay is provided..we were are group of five friends and loved our stay. Thoroughly recommend a stay at teranga

This property was amazing. Loved everything about it .beautifully presented. Had everything we needed and more . The beds were comfortable. If I had to suggest one thing it would be to have a shadcloth over the pool as the water was ver warm

Thanks for your feedback, you’re right about the pool, for a short period until the rain begins to fall, the pool water can get quite warm. We decided against umbrellas and awnings as being on the beach materials deteriorate so quickly & then there is the possibility of a cyclone! Funny, at the moment we’re trying to sort out the pool heater, I think we should see if we can replace it with a heater/cooler - hope you’ll consider returning again, Sonja

Absolutely Perfect Beach Getaway

Teranga is fantastic, very clean, modern, spacious house right on the beach. Large deep pool that looks out over the ocean. All three bedrooms were very large and had en-suite. Full laundry and plenty of outdoor seating with large BBQ. Very easy to find and great comms with the owner.

Awesome holiday home

The home was sparklingly clean with a lovely open, light filled space which is tastefully decorated. Amazing uninterrupted views of coral sea and Dunk Island. Everything about this home was beautiful and comfortable. We will be coming back next year!!

Absolutely incredible!

Clean, bright, spacious, beautifully decorated and amazing views. The best pool we have ever been in - right on the beach and the pool was heated to the perfect temperature - a real tropical paradise! Well designed indoor and outdoor living spaces. Teranga provides instant relaxation in such a tranquil setting.

Fabulous Holiday!

Great relaxing family holiday location. House was tranquil and perfect! Plenty of space (we have 4 older kids (10-21) but would also be fab for younger families), great kitchen with everything-everything, awesome pool and right on the beach with stunning views. We took our bikes, perfect for riding on the beach, Millar's Restaurant and Woolworths. Beach is lovely and quiet (just what we were looking for). Perfect!

Paradise Found

We spent six nights at this lovely beachfront property and could not have asked for a more relaxing place to stay. From the moment we entered the front door we were greeted with a bright cheery space leading out onto the deck overlooking the amazing pool and views to Dunk Island. The beach out the front is wonderful for early morning walks and evening strolls. The owners were lovely to deal with and replied to our enquiries quickly. We would recommend this property for a true getaway.
