Fabulous place, the communication from our host/ manager was fantastic. Our little family had a great time, nice spacious house with close proximity to all the attractions. We enjoyed sitting around the fire place and playing a few games of pool in the evenings. Highly recommended.

Loved our extended weekend,would love to see the property through all its seasons.its been a muched loved home with many stories we were sure that a nonno nurtured the orchard and a nonna in the flower gardens.We will be back.

The house and gardens were beautiful and comfortable. All the rooms had aircon, which was nice. Beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

There were a few things the kitchen could have been cleaner the fridge and oven especially and under sink. There was now dishwashing liquid. Also the bathrooms the shower head in main bath needs tightening kept falling down and taps leak and drip also in ensuite taps are hard to turn off to stop water dripping. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay. Just thought you might like to know and also a couple more tea towels. Thanks Kay

Lovely stay in nice big conformable house

We love this house due to how spacious it is and in a quiet location slightly out of Stanthorpe. We have stayed a number of times and always feel like it is a home away from home.

The house is a larger, older style brick home. Interior is dated but family friendly. The fireplace was a bit hard to get started but we figured it out. Bring kindling. Has all amenities to provide meals for the family. Close to town. Go to the info centre in town - excellent info. We followed some of the wine trails but also visited Stanthorpe cheese and Jamworks. Both great. This home provides an excellent base but the price is based on two people staying; extra people are billed at 35 per person per night. A cleaning charge is also added.

Long weekend retreat

Very comfortable stay. Perfect location for some privacy and downtime, while also being several minutes from the centre of town. The kids enjoyed running around the large, enclosed yard and watching the kangaroos laze around in the sun. The fireplace was perfect for the cooler evenings and kept the place warm overnight. We would definitely stay here again!

Good base for daily adventures

The house worked well as a base for day trips for mountain biking and hiking. Definitely appreciated the large bath to soak in. Quiet area, large house, well appointed. I look forward to staying there again in the future.

Family Getaway

Handy location a pleasant walk to downtown. Fireplace keeps the living area warm. Pool table a good focus for the family to gather around. Good base for bush walking the region.

It was lovely but there should be wifi and shampoo and body wash rather than one piece of soap. Also no holder in main bathroom and door of the shower opening the wrong way. the kitchen is very well equipped

Great Getaway

It's like staying out in the country but just right near town. It's just a wonderful property with a great host. It has every thing you could ask for and more. Plenty of wildlife as well. It's an excellent property.

Birthday weekend getaway!

What a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing weekend away. The house and gardens are gorgeous. We took the advice of previous guests and watched the sunset from the rocks across the road, what a stunning view. We will definitely be back.

Very comfortable almost to the point that if you forgot to pack something it was there ... a home away from home. Grounds could tolerate a little TLC even tho it was winter. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful weekend , had a little family bday celebration for our 5 year old & the house has everything you could need, great gardens to explore & plenty of space inside the house ,and so clean! Fireplace & pool table was a treat for the adults & kids :)Thank you!

Stanthorpe Grape and Wine getaway

We absolutely loved it. The house was fabulous. An easy 2km walk into town. Heaps of space and the communication was fantastic.
