Nous sommes un couple professionnel - Sandra et Michael - travaillant à domicile - d'origine allemande, mais vivant en Nouvelle-Zélande depuis plus de 15 ans. Notre maison est située à environ 5 minutes en voiture des magasins Titirangi et à 3 minutes à pied du prochain arrêt de bus qui se connecte à Transportcenter New Lynn et plus loin à Auckland CBD.
La maison se trouve sur une partie ensoleillée de la colline de Waitakere, avec de nombreuses possibilités de randonnée et de marche, de nombreuses promenades commencent à notre porte, également à proximité de toutes les plages de la côte ouest pour le surf, comme Piha.
Nous vivons dans la maison principale. Pour les clients, nous proposons:
2 chambres doubles dans un appartement indépendant, propre salle de bain privée, douche dans la baignoire, une cuisine pour préparer le petit déjeuner et des repas légers. Terrasse ensoleillée privée et parking hors rue pour une voiture devant l'appartement. Accès Internet sans fil fourni et climatisation pour les chaudes journées d'été.
Nous aimerions accueillir des visiteurs qui souhaitent un séjour chez l'habitant pour explorer les plages de la côte ouest et le parc régional de Waitakere ou à la recherche d'un endroit calme en dehors de la ville. Nous sommes heureux d'aider à organiser et planifier des voyages à travers le pays, pouvons organiser le transport et l'hébergement pour d'autres destinations.

Fantastic location and great hosts

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is unbeatable if you enjoy the outdoors as you are on the footstep of the Waitakere ranges with a great walk/hike on your doorstep. View from the balcony is incredible! Apartment has everything you need and is comfortable.

Excellent bush retreat

Positioned just outside the village of Titirangi which offers everything you need shops, cafes, restaurants and lovely gallery. Easy access to many walking tracks and beaches. We had a great stay, sitting on the balcony looking out at the extensive views across the harbour.Our hosts were lovely, friendly and accommodating, very hospitable.

Titirangi Hideaway

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The flat was well furnished and felt like home away from home. The views from the deck were just lovely and the surrounding bush walks were beautiful. Our hosts were excellent. Thank you.

Windy road up the mountain but only 30 minutes from Aukland. Serene mountain top location without neighboring houses and close (100 m) to hiking tracts. Often great sunrises.

We loved this property, the location was great for exploring the Auckland region as well as the Waitakere ranges. The hosts were fantastic, they were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. The property had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic spot and great hosts!

Great place to stay and Sandra and Michael are wonderful hosts. My partner and I stayed here for two weeks and the place is well equipped, clean, comfortable and very peaceful with a beautiful view. A perfect little spot, private deck to enjoy the sun and the scenery. Would highly recommend. As an added bonus there are some walking trails at the end of the drive and it’s a nice stroll into Titirangi. We look forward to staying here again!

Great for a short stay. The lounge does need some comfortable chairs, the couch is so not comfy!

Titirangi hideaway

Our second time staying at this property. Sandra went out of her way to be helpful, accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed for our two night stay. Road to house and driveway a but dicey after the recent floods, but sure this will get fixed soon. Definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our weekend here. Great place to stay if you want a quiet weekend away. We had plans on a venture of the Waitakere Ranges but given the weather we decided to stay in and watch Te Matatini which was great. The bed was not the best given our mature age and there was a strong odour going through the flat that we needed to the dehumidifier everyday for.

Beautiful views, abundant bird life and great location.

Titirangi cottage is well equipped with everything that is needed for a great stay. It was lovely to see the Californian Quail, Wood pigeons and Fantails. Eventhough the owners were overseas we really appreciated the communication and thoughtfulness making sure we were comfortable in their cottage. Thankyou for a memorable stay. All the best.

Very Nice Hosts. Have Everything We need. Spacious and All the Little Touch.

Michael and Sandra are wonderful hosts. This is the second time we stayed there. Both time exceeded our expectation. We do need a car but the location is brilliant as it is away from the business of city, the view of sunrise and sunset, there are restaurants and eateries within driving distance of 5 minutes, there are walking tracks nearby, all the little touches just make our stay a memorable one.

Titirangi Experience

Warm welcome to an excellent well equipt and designed apartment. An ideal location for accessing the famous Waitakere Ranges and the West Coast Beaches. The view from the deck was outstanding with birds a plenty. All our needs were met and our hosts Sandra and Michael were available if and when needed, we will definately be returning in the future.
