Cette magnifique maison récemment "choisie" dans l'émission House Hunters International HGTV a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter du Costa Rica !! Situé à Playa Colonia / Chaman, l'une des plus belles plages de la ville avec un excellent surf et observation de la faune. À PIED de la plage ... PAS de collines. Du pas de la porte à la plage 8 min max! La maison est située dans une petite rue sûre juste à côté de la route principale. Conduisez 2 minutes jusqu'à l'épicerie, les restaurants, la pharmacie, etc. La maison est neuve avec tous les nouveaux meubles de luxe. Cuisine entièrement équipée pour cuisiner. Marchez jusqu'à de délicieux restaurants locaux et un marché à quelques mètres.

We had a fantastic time in Uvita. Excellent location, close to everything you need. The house is modern and very comfortable. Stephanie was responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay

This was a perfect house for our family. There was ample space, a fully stocked kitchen, and responsive hosts. My kids loved playing in the pool (rain or shine). Close to the market and a few restaurants as well. Would stay again if we are in the area.

We had a great time!

Very clean house, beds are confortable, 7 min from the beach (national park you have to pay 7US$, close to 2 restaurants 2 min walk and to a grocery store. The pool was spotless during our 9 days stay.

Perfect Uvita Spot

We loved the location of this home as it is convenient to the beach and adventures. Lots of good restaurants around but we took advantage of the nearby fish market to grill. The house was clean and comfortable and we found everything we needed for our week stay.

Easy walk to the beach!

The property was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples. The pool was fantastic. Great location with easy access to the beach and restaurants. The only draw back is you can hear the traffic from the main highway. Stephanie was amazing and made our stay even better - helping us with transportation, tours and massages! We would stay again! We love Uvita!

A 7 minute walk to the beach was one of the best amenities. The beach is clean and big and there are lifeguards. I so appreciate they provided beach towels since we had to pack light for this trip. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked and there were plenty of movies to watch on streaming for movie night. Communication could have been better - the house manager didn’t respond to a question we had till the next day, no local recommendations, and we received no information on check out so we just did what we thought they’d want us to do. My only complaints are with the primary bedroom. The bed in the primary bedroom is the hardest bed I have ever slept on. I woke up with hip and back pain every morning. If hard beds are your taste, you’re in luck! There is no door between the primary bathroom and bedroom. You will hear and smell your partner using the toilet and may accidentally walk in on them when you enter the room. Overall, we enjoyed this house and its location and would recommend to friends and family.

Perfect vacation rental in my favorite town in CR

We are a family of 4 that has done multiple month-long stays in vacation rentals. I speak from experience when I say that this is as close as you can get to a perfect vacation rental. Highlights include: - super clean - very responsive rental manager - has all the kitchen supplies you will need (we cooked a lot) - large fridge - air conditioning in each space keeps place cool - great internet - we had no issues with ants, spiders, roaches etc - great street with lots of nice homes. Not a busy street. - easy walk to the beach and to the grocery store - nearby Mexican restaurant has yummy food and great cocktails I love the town of Uvita too. The walking distance beach is really special and there are tons of nearby beaches to drive to and discover. There are quite a few good food options. I also love that there is food, excursions, and grocery stores that cater to tourists but there’s also a very obvious Costa Rican local culture that you can enjoy.

Amazing home! Great location! Excellent hosts!

If you’re on the fence about booking this home, don’t hesitate—just do it! Our family of 5 adults from ages 24-60 thoroughly enjoyed staying in the absolutely gorgeous, well-appointed, beautifully decorated and clean home! The hosts are very friendly and responsive, and Stephanie their local house manager and concierge is super nice, helpful, and very easy to communicate with! The location is perfect as it’s just a short 7-8 minute walk to the beach with a good Mexican restaurant and some cute “sodas” on the same street (be sure to get a smoothie!) The grocery store on the corner is a 5 minute walk, and since we rented a car at the Alamo right in Uvita, we were able to drive the nicely paved road to some great restaurants in Uvita and visit places like Quepos for a zip lining tour and Dominical for a wonderful jungle tour/hike to waterfalls (and great restaurants in Dominical—just a 25 minute drive!) The JungleATV tour in Uvita is a must and their office is just a 5 minute drive from the house. Back to the house—loved the location, but of course loved the gorgeous pool and yard, the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfy—the house is truly a home away from home! We will most definitely stay in this home again when we return to Costa Rica! Thank you Robert, Rachael, and Stephanie!

Great place near the beach

Great house, 5 minute walk to the beach, although you have to pay an entrance fee as it’s a park entrance. House was sparkling clean and pool was great. House had a stocked kitchen, a ton of toys and books for the kids, and a huge supply of beach towels which was super handy. Only problem was the hot water. It broke completely the day we arrived and we were without hot water for 3 of our 4 day trip. The management company was very responsive, it just took a while as it happened over the weekend. Once it was fixed you still could only use one shower at a time (and no dishwasher) or else the breaker would trip and it would turn off. Pretty annoying for our family of 6. Also they had surf and boogie boards but we weren’t allowed to use them. Overall a great house, but until the hot water issue is fixed I think I would choose another location.

Thank you for your feedback. We have installed a new hot water tank that works perfectly! There are several surf shops near by with surf boards to rent. At the house we offer bicycle and ATV rentals.

Wonderful!!

We were so sad to leave this place! The house is just as pictured on the website, but even more beautiful in person. It was spotless, contemporary and so incredibly easy to live in and just enjoy. There were toys and books for the kids and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Our kids loved spending the morning at the beach and then coming back to the house to spend the afternoon in the pool. It was pure relaxation. We enjoyed exploring the beach and found the path along the beach that connects playa Colonia to Playa Chaman was perfect (great spot for monkey watching). We walked over often to get ice cream, french fries and yummy pizzas and empanadas at El Hornito (about a 10-15 minute walk). We also ate at La Choza del Alejo about 5 times during our stay-super good Mexican food just around the corner. We did a couple of grocery shops at the BM on the highway, but also used the small supermarket between the house and the beach. While we were there, the large MaxiPali (like a Walmart) opened up down the road and that was also a short walk away for groceries. The house manager in town, Stephanie, was also great-she was always a text away and was there to answer any questions. Be sure to have lunch or a sunset dinner/cocktail at the Aracari restaurant-amazing ocean views just a 5 minute drive away from the house. Good food, too! Overall, our stay was excellent and we would love to return.

A lovely getaway in Uvita

I was with a group of 4 that stayed at this property for a week and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is very conveniently located and had all of the necessary amenities to cook great meals and relax with friends by the pool. Would definitely stay here again!

Great internet.

We stayed here for 2 weeks while we were building our house. My husband worked and had video calls there was never an internet issue. Excellent service and while there were a few power blips the internet never went down. Great location. Can walk to the beach and convenient to restaurants and grocery store. Would stay here again.

Beautiful home and well supplied

We have stayed in a lot of vacation homes for way more than the cost of this house that couldn’t compare to this home. Beautifully furnished, tons of amenities everything you need (except for a measuring cup) lol. Would stay here again! Only thing that was missing was television, there was no cable or satellite service.

Great house, great layout, great location!

This house was incredible. The pictures are very accurate. The WIFI was the fastest I've ever encountered in Costa Rica. The location is super close to town, stores, dining, and walking distance to the beach. The area felt very safe and nothing went missing from the backyard (and we left alot of stuff back there). The property manager was very helpful in setting us up with a tour and responding to inquiries. The house was very well stocked with everything, from TONS of towels, quality pots and pans, toilet paper, spices, and just odd stuff you don't see in every house but is very much appreciated, such as a cooler. The only downsides (minor) are there was no major wildlife such as monkeys or coatis (the location is in the equivilant of a subdivision and 'in town'), and there are several vacant lots including next door, which when build on could disturb the peace and serenity of the amazing backyard (I would inquire prior to booking to ensure there is no active construction adjacent to the property).

Beautiful home in Beautiful Uvita

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Uvita and in this lovely home. It has absolutely everything you need to be comfortable - a well appointed kitchen, great beds, lots of toys for the kids, a sweet little pool, a huge grill, quiet surroundings. There's a bodega in walking distance for groceries, a nice surf school across the street, and the beach is only a 7 minute walk away. We will return!

Das Haus ist ist wie beschrieben, sehr sauber und komfortabel. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Alle Utensilien für die Küche waren vorhanden. Sehr gepflegte Außenanlage. Morgens wurden wir von Brüllaffen geweckt. Vielen Dank an Stephanie, sie hat uns herzlich empfangen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. In der Nähe sind genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Französische Bäcker in der Nähe. Die Gegend ist wunderschön.

Everything reached our expectations.

Wonderful house to stay in Uvita. Walking distance from the beach. Accessibly to many services. We definitely recommend this house. We are a family of 5 and with three rooms, pool 🏊, BBQ, kitchen, wifi, etc it was perfect. Karol was there for our arrival to explain everything and she stay in touch with us during our stay to be sure that everything was correct. Five stars home and services.
