As of March 2023 the art on the walls is exactly the same as shown in our photos - there is one piece in the living room, one piece in the kitchen, and one in the bathroom. In our opinion we offer a very modern looking condo that is consistent with a lot of current design with minimal clutter. We are in no way "frightened" about guests taking off with decor, we just have a different aesthetic taste and design preference. There is a large towel bar / hook in the bathroom that can hang at least 10+ towels on it. There are multiple drawers in the bathroom vanity to store toiletry items. We have removed all books, magazines, etc. due to Covid. Our bed is a king size high end plush mattress from Macy's. For the amenities we highly recommend guests read through our entire property listing and ask questions in advance if they are looking for specific things. We are more than happy to answer questions prior to bookings to make sure it is the right fit for your stay. We get significant compliments about the location and wonderful access to local restaurants, biking trails, hiking trails, etc. Our balcony has a beautiful mountain view and you cannot see the other buildings mentioned. We recommend all guests bring things to our attention immediately upon check in so we can correct any issues in a timely manner with minimal disruption to the guests stay. With the washing machine, it was brought to our attention 3 days into a 4 day stay. We offered to come clean it the very same day and were told no, that an immediate solution was needed. We could only suggest a local laundromat as we were not permitted to come clean during the guest's stay. Upon guest's exit the washing machine was cleaned very simply in a couple minutes with a paper towel as moisture had just built up on the inside from someone closing it while wet inside. As far as the day of arrival instructions, all information was emailed in advance and available to access in VRBO except for the entry code. We do not send the entry code until the arrival date to maximize security and safety for all our guests. Again, we encourage anyone that is a potential guest or staying with us to reach out. We have over 100 5 star reviews on another booking platform and pride ourselves on our excellent communication and customer service. Both owners live locally and are happy to provide support to our guests. We pride ourselves on being a small business in La Quinta and look forward to continuing to provide a high quality, lovely place to stay.
