Awsome place to stay, me and a couple friends went to the area to ride our sxs’s and this place was perfect, directly the ohv legal roads, very privet location.

As described, this is an open floor plan which includes the "bedroom". This worked perfectly for our needs and was used primarily for sleeping.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights on our 41st anniversary getaway. The cabin is very nice with everything you need for your stay. Bring your food and drink and relax and enjoy. The cabin is clean and if you have any issues then Bonnie the owner is very responsive to you questions. Everything was great and we would definitely like to go back again.

Cabin in the woods

Property served my family and needs perfectly. I had plenty of parking space and sleeping space and all the basic amenities required for my stay. Would love to see this place in the summer. I think this cabin checks all of boxes for any type of vacation stay.

Fall Getaway

Although it rained from the moment we arrived to the day we left, we enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was cozy and the beds were very comfortable. We had fun watching movies, playing games, and enjoying the river in the rain! It was really nice to have such a large couch to enjoy movies together as a family of 5. Everyone had enough space to enjoy!

Pictures can be deceiving. A master bedroom with no walls between the living room, and bedroom, and a loft with ladder accessibility only. The 1 bathroom operates fine as long as you don’t use it- definitely not built for a family of 5. The toilet doesn’t drain and won’t plunge even with no toilet paper flushed. The house is spring water fed and previous guests report the same issues in the guest book left there. However there is an active outhouse that is a wood shed with a hole in the ground. One of the windows was broken and has been taped up but not replaced. If you like roughing it this is your place.

So peaceful!!

We loved this property! The photos are not able to capture how truly beautiful this space is! Our kids are older, so we try to have a few "outings" to keep vaca "cool," but if they were younger, we wouldn't have even needed to leave the property. The Independence River would have provided for days of splashing and joy. If you are movers and shakers, there is also so much to do close-ish by. We would definitely rent here again. Bonnie also responded to any question I had almost immediately every time. GREAT experience all the way around.

Serene Cabin

Just what my kids and I needed, a break from everything in a beautiful, peaceful cabin. Plenty of room to sleep, huge table for eating/playing games, gorgeous view of the river. This won't be the last time we come here - the only issue I had is that we only stayed for two days. Next time will be longer! Owner responded to questions very fast, would recommend to anyone looking to get away from "most of it all" but still have tv and internet :-)

Magical Cabin in the Woods

This is a beautiful "cabin" in the woods on a river. We 2 nurses were looking for a peaceful sanctuary and break from the current stresses we are all living in at this time. The house is beautiful, and the care and love put into creating this space is evident. Location is perfect for beautiful hikes and day trips. The owner was readily available to answer any questions or concerns. Loved the pellet stove. We left feeling totally renewed. We would definitely return to this place. Thank you, Bonnie.

Home Away from Home!

The cabin was amazing! My family and I had so much fun enjoying the wilderness and the stream across the road. Very secluded and peaceful! It had everything we needed and it made us feel right at home. The campfires at night were nice too! I would highly recommend this place to any family that is looking to get away but wants to feel at home! Shopping only 15-20 minutes away which was very handy for stocking up on food.

Sorry about that I generally keep the road raked down and fairly smooth. But the trucks delivering dirt and the equipment working across the road tend to dig it up faster than I can smooth it out.

Super nice getaway

Super nice getaway out in the back country, secluded and peaceful. There is a really nice river on a few hundred yards from the cabin, everything is close by, a Walmart right in loweville and atv trails everywhere. Cabin was nice and clean, it had all the amenities that you could need.
