The Crystal Casita is located in Austin’s eclectic East Side, where the soul of the 1900’s meets the wave of all things modern. With a brand new luxury hot tub and solar powered soul, this HGTV featured tiny home is sure to give you the unique experience you’ve been dreaming of!

PRIME LOCATION!
Walking distance to SXSW events, retail shops, restaurants, food trucks, JuiceLand (an Austin favorite), coffee shops, 6th Street, downtown, museums, yoga studios, Whole Foods. You name it, we got it!

Crystal Casita was designed and constructed by award winning industrial designer Robert Irwin, and was featured on HGTV's 'Tiny House, Big Living'. It was designed to be fully off-the-grid with solar panels and the like, but now has been complimented with modern, luxurious upgrades.

Inside, you’ll be greeted with a boho chic hug that’s guaranteed to meet all your needs and more. Downstairs you’ll find an inviting living area with a comfy, spacious couch, and a 4K TV. A kitchen with a refrigerator, coffee maker, mini oven and hot plate. A full bathroom with a flushable toilet, and fully stocked rain shower. Upstairs there are two loft sleeping areas, one with a king sized bed and gorgeous overhead skylight, and the other with a full sized bed which can also be used as a cozy reading nook. All products used to clean the home are non- toxic including laundry detergent, soaps, and shampoo/ conditioner.

If you’re feeling the inside of the Crystal Casita, just wait till you experience the outside! With a convenient private parking space and entrance, your Zen Zone is only footsteps away. Surrounded by bamboo, jasmine, and an edible garden you’ll have the perfect space to relax and unwind after a long night of exploring Austin. And don’t forget about the fire pit and spacious hot tub! That just may be the cherry on top!

This tiny home has big heart!!

We loved our stay at The Crystal Casita!! It is an absolutely adorable home with all the amenities. It is in a great location and the owners could not be more accommodating. We will definitely stay there again!

Great Stay/Amazing Host

Everything about the Crystal Casita blew us away. Minutes from bars and restaurants in a vibrant neighborhood. The tiny house is beautifully appointed. It feels like a very private and serene space. Overall, it was an A+ experience and one we'd do again.

Perfect Tiny House

Really loved our first stay in a tiny house. Great location to East 6th and 7th street bars/food and running/biking trails. This place had all the amenities I could imagine and then some. Fab towels to boot! Super cute decor too. I only hit my head and arms a few times on the “master” side bedroom loft. It was tight but hey that’s tiny house living. The smaller bed area had a lot more head room and was a little more comfortable in my opinion. I did find I had to move a few crystals around in the crystal casita because I was scare to hit them when I put my bags down. But all in all I could not imagine a better first tiny home to stay in. The owners were fab and description very accurate.

Perfect spot to visit Austin

The tiny house was a unique experience! We enjoyed it. The king loft was a bit claustrophobic and hot, but was fine. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked nice.

Amazing Host

The house is so wonderful and it’s such an awesome get away! The host were amazing and super helpful from the very beginning of even trying to get a night here. They were super fast with responding and even help with app troubleshooting. Would absolutely stay with them again.

Tiny House Love

We had a great time in the tiny house! The house was so charming and had everything we needed for our stay. Location is so close to the best of Austin. Check in was easy and Craig responded quickly to any questions we had. If you are looking for an adorable and different experience stay here! We loved it!!
