Thank You for your thoughts. The bathrooms do not need a full remodel. They are totally functional, everything works and in 8 years I’ve never had any issue using them in anyway. There is a very slight amount of water damage on the floor in the hall bathroom from where folks exit the shower.

Thank You for your review Donna! I'd like to provide some additional information and clarity on some of the items you mentioned. Hurricane Isias slammed into the area on August 4th 2020 and caused extensive damage to many structures including the Timbercreek bulkhead and boardwalk. It wiped out Southport Marina and left the main Bald Head Island creek access pier unsafe and unusable to this day (June 2022). We are very thankful that we still have docks and a boardwalk to enjoy and use at Timbercreek. There are two small sections between our unit and the dock that engineers deemed to be a safety hazard and they are not usable. I have had no problem accessing the docks by walking on the road for 100Ft and turning into the next Timbercreek entrance. The other section of the boardwalk can be accessed by walking on the pathway between the Timbercreek 16 and 17 buildings. The $600K Bulkhead replacement is scheduled to take place in the winter of 2022. You will notice beside the washer in the garage there is a large hole/vent in the building. This is a flood vent that was installed on all the units at the insurance companies request. During heavy rains some water will come in through the vent and form a small puddle in front of the Dryer. I've never found it to be a problem and just use the broom on the wall to sweep the water out of the garage door. I have owned this unit for 7 years and the "Outdoor shower" you are speaking of has never worked and was disconnected years ago. It does not meet the Villages requirements for outdoor showers. You can either use the two outdoor showers at the pool or what I do is use the hose and sprayer on the building just on the other side of the AC units. The ceiling fans on the porch are a bit rusty but they work perfectly. I usually just enjoy the air movement they provide and look out at the beautiful Marsh view instead of at them. I stayed in the unit just before you and when I arrived I did notice that evidently a recent guest had put a 1' long tear in one of the copper screens. My apologies that was such an inconvenience for you, it is in the process of being repaired. Bald Head island is expensive and is also a very harsh environment. I continuously make improvements and repairs to the unit. In the past year we have purchased two brand new golf carts and replaced the AC system. It will never be perfect but I always have found it to be a wonderful spot.
