The rooms were clean and simple, but the beds were super comfy and the fans worked great. The outdoor shared area is good size and provides a good entertaining and cooking area. The location is perfect your right next to the entrance ramp from happy valley on to the beach.

Very basic accommodation but metres from the Happy Valley Pub and 100m to the beach. Love the outdoor kitchen and entertaining area. Tidy and clean.

This was our second year at Creature Comforts and had a crew to book both units which are side by side which was so convenient to keep family and friends close.The weather wasn't the best with wind and rain this year 2026, but we still got fishing and adventuring done. Even with 40k winds we still remained dry cooking with the outdoor kitchen and dining area and HOT showers when we got back from a day out. Great place to stay, just walking distance from the beach.

If you’re looking for a great place to stay on a budget this is the place for you and your closest friends. Friendly greeting on arrival with clean presentation of all rooms and the outside meals area. Just what the doctor ordered after a day out on the sand.

Absolutely loved this place, being our first time on k'gari the location was perfect.Lisa the host was very accommodating, as we had travelled from Vic with lots of gear and she allowed us to drop off our gear till check in.Ann and Peter were absolutely amazing and very helpful.

Perfect Outdoor Camping but not the hassle of camping experience. Great outdoor kitchen with amenities, close to Shop and pub, very quiet, walk top beach, central location to see all of island. Really Perfect.

Great for families

Very happy with accommodation, property manager was excellent, care takers were lovely, they were there if we needed, but otherwise they were respectful of our space and privacy. Overall great place to stay, would recommend.

Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the accommodation\. The description of it as being “a step above camping” is pretty accurate — and it certainly beats sleeping on the beach!The rooms were clean, comfortable and tidy, and both bathrooms were absolutely spotless. The outdoor kitchen and dining area worked well for our group, with plenty of seating and table space. A little extra shelving or cupboard space would be a great addition for storing groceries and food rather than having to keep everything in Eskies and plastic boxes.The gas cooktop did the job, although it is probably getting to the stage where an upgrade to something newer and a little more powerful would make the outdoor kitchen even better. The large BBQ plate was great and the washing-up and cleanup area was perfectly adequate.Shane and Michelle, the on-site managers, were fantastic to deal with — friendly, helpful and always available when needed.Lisa, our host, was also excellent. Communication was easy from the beginning and she went out of her way to answer our questions and help with anything she could, which we really appreciated.Happy Valley itself is a fantastic place to stay on K’gari. It has a lovely, relaxed community atmosphere, you’re close to all the action on the eastern beach and, importantly, very close to the pub!We had a great time and would happily stay here again. Family Holiday

We have stayed here before and love the outdoor kitchen to meet for meals and games. 3 bathrooms between the 2 units suited our family and of course been at Happy Valley it is a great location
