Great place to stay

Beautiful spacious home that had everything we needed. Whangamata still as lovely as ever. Great to be back and already planning to return. Would stay here again.

One of the best places we have stayed at could not fault this place

This place has everything we needed and wanted! Entertaining, location, house layout for socialising around the pool, the golf course on boundary, the list goes on but we loved it and we as a family had the best time. Very clean and tidy and so much on offer. Highly recommend this place and would love to come back again 😊

Lively 3 generation family getaway

The property was very spacious and allowed our party of 7 to either socialise together or have time apart and we enjoyed our stay. Cooking for all of us was a breeze. Thanky uou Jodi and Frankie.

Overall this house and the layout was absolutely wonderful for our family trip and hosting our local friends for meals. It felt like we were borrowing a family friend’s home. We would totally stay here again in a heartbeat. Pros: The common hangout zones were very roomy and comfortable for two large families. We could have all the kids at the dining table while us 4 adults ate at the massive island bar top. The opening of the doors to the outdoor living space from the kitchen and living room was absolutely dreamy! Having a sofa and loungers outside was very nice. The pool was a hit with the kids despite the chilly temps! The little cleaning robot was pretty amazing helping get storm debris cleaned up. There were plenty of towels for the pool and beach. Cons: Coming during the winter, the house was quite chilly without heat on upon our arrival and the bedrooms don’t quite get the heat unless it is really cranked and doors are left open but that wasn’t an issue because the beds were cozy for sleeping and that was the only time we were in the rooms. We were able to grill once but didn’t have enough propane for another grilled meal during our week stay. The hot tub was a bit murky as there were no shock chemicals but the kids still would warm up after the pool - adults were a bit more hesitant.

Space to relax

This property is centrally located and with plenty of space both indoors and out to have three generations stay comfortably. Just minutes away from the beach, cafes and town. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
