Summary:
This beautifully decorated home has breathtaking views across to Bellerive Yacht Club and the Derwent River and offers a luxury stay.
With light filled and spacious interiors, and multiple living areas, it's ideal for large families or small groups.
It's location is in a quiet family friendly neighbourhood, just minutes to a major shopping centre, and just across the bridge to the city and Salamanca.
With air conditoning, wifi and parking for 3 cars, the home has everything you need.

The Space:
The house offers 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. On the upper level is the master bedroom with ensuite. The main living area includes the kitchen, laundry, dining, bathroom and a very comfy lounge room with fire place. The remaining bedrooms and 3rd bathroom are on the ground level and there is a sofa bed in the upstairs lounge room. The floor plan allows everyone the space and facilities they need for a wonderful and relaxed holiday.
The house also has an air conditioning unit in the main living area, and there are heaters in each of the bedrooms to ensure a comfortable stay.
All our linen and towels are provided by our linen service, so you can sleep in comfort in hotel quality linen.

Guests have full use of the house during their stay

The Neighborhood:
The house is in a peaceful, safe neighbourhood yet only 2 kms from a major shopping centre, with major supermarket and specialist eateries, restaurants. The city is only a short 7 minute drive, just on the other side of the bridge.

Getting Around:
It's always best to have a car when in Hobart, particularly so you can see the main attractions, but if not its a short walk to the shopping centre, which is on the major transport link.

Other Things to Note:
If you require a porta cot please let us know at the time of booking as this is not stored at the property. Please also note that firewood for the fireplace is only available in Winter on request.

We leave guests to enjoy the house in privacy, however we are locals so are available if needed.

The house was beautiful, great views. Only down side was it gets very hot on warm days with only a split system on the middle floor we had to buy a fan and its needs a big comfy lounge to lay back on with foot rests after long days out walking. Over all our stay was great and the kitchen had all we needed for 7 of us

Perfect Hobart Holiday Stay
This is the perfect holiday stay for a large family. The house is well appointed with four substantial bedrooms and a small lounge room with a sofa bed that served well as a fifth bedroom. The property is conveniently loocated so long as you have a car. Bus services are available but a five minute walk away and less convenient. The ferry to Hobart is only about a fifteen minute walk, but does not run all day. Eastlands shopping centre is also within walking distance and has all you might normally need (Coles, Woolies, KMart, BigW, coffee) but the climb back to the property is steepish. A good walking track with great views of Hobart and Mount Wellington is at the back fence. The views from the property's lounge and bedrooms are fantastic. you could spend a lot of time just looking out the windows at the river, marina and Bellerive town centre and surrounds. There is adequate off-street parking for at least three cars with indiividually unobstructed access. The house was built circa mid-eighties and could do with some TLC. But pretty much everything worked, the kitchen was particuarly well equipped and the beds very comfortable. The house can be very warm in sunny summer weather and there is only one centrally located split system air condinitioner. That said, the large rear doors open up to give a good fresh air flow through the house and the morning sun is delightful. We loved our stay and for our party of five adults and three young children it was perfect.

Great views, comfy beds but no hot water first night and the property manager was unpleasant
We wanted to like this place as it's a uniquely designed house with great views of Hobart. The beds were also comfortable. Our stay was tainted by there being no hot water available on our arrival (after hiking in cradle mountain and a 4hr drive), but mostly by an unsympathetic property manager who refused to communicate via phone to trouble shoot in an effective way. It meant that I had to interrupt anything we were doing by checking emails and go backwards and forwards to the control panel near the laundry and the gas bottles outside over a number of hours despite wanting to enjoy our first night in Hobart and seeking somewhere to eat. While a new small gas bottle was delivered the next day and I was provided with a $100 credit, it wasn't worth having to deal with the arrogant manner of the property manager's communication via the stayz website. Further, I had to re-wash quite a bit of the crockery, cutlery and pots the next night when we wanted to cook - the cupboards for the pots and baking dishes were stained with grease and looked like they hadn't been wiped down for some time. I took photos and sent to these to the property manager but I never received a response on this issue. I understand maintenance issues may arise from time to time, but courteous customer service would have resolved this without needing me to write about it.

Beautiful location, views and property
Very Impressive house, driveway and landscaping, situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with beautiful nature surrounding most sides of the block and nice walks nearby. Stunning view of harbour and city lights. Unique open plan layout that is well suited to large groups. Fireplace was a nice feature. The only thing that was somewhat frustrating was that the power was setup in the laundry so that the washer and dryer could not be run at the same time. Other than that had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.

Great location with amazing views . But…. Read below
Fantastic views, beds really comfy, bathrooms nice and great location. Woeful communications. Does not answer phone at all( on both given phone numbers ) and only seemed to respond to emails. Did get a generic email response back from an email but no interest to talk on the phone. Now in regards to the stunning interiors………. Overall the place was clean and tidy however the house is in need of a lot of maintenance and TLC. Towel rack hanging off, 2 broken dining room chairs . One chair in lounge feels like it’s about to collapse with legs on wonky angles. Holes in a couple walls (lounge room and lower bathroom) and a joiner in power cable going to main bedroom tv that you can see the coloured wire cores with a little bit of insulation tape on it ( coming from a sparky this is not safe ). Smoke alarm downstairs hanging open with no battery in it. Ovens dirty and loose door handles. Blind in one room won’t work as pull cord missing on it. Broken edge on step with tape right along it as you enter kitchen level and cracked front door (on inside). One of the three way light switches in lower level hall doesn’t turn lights on or off. Basically there needs a lot of maintenance work done. Going off a past review this looks to be a common trait. Please note this is the first time we have had an issue with any stayz booking as all the other places have been great. Other than that, great location, front garden nicely maintained and great driveway setup helps with the steep angle.
