Great spot for the weekend! Had issues getting into the rental at the beginning as no cell service unless connected to the wifi. I would advise host of notifying people to load the info before arriving at the location. Once we were in it was amazing! Would recommend this to anyone with a larger group.

The cottage is very clean, kitchen very well equipped and bed linen, towels all cleaned and laundered.The bath tubs need mats as they are very slippery as there are no hand rails.

Place is great for a ski weekend. We hosted a couple of friends with teens to hang with us. The drive to the upper lot and skiing down makes things really easy. Short drive home after skiing and getting to village is fast if you want to get there for a dinner.

This home is beautifully nestled on top of Blue Mountain. There was plenty of space to sleep, eat, relax, and socialize comfortably. It was the perfect place to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday, and we truly couldn’t have chosen a better spot. Highly recommend!

The VRBO itself was fantastic, check-in details were sent a few hours before check-in time and everything was clean and as expected when my group arrived. There was a firepit we were able to make good use of, plenty of space to meet and cook meals together at, and the right number of bedrooms and bathrooms which served us well during our stay. It was a great home base for a group of friends to explore blue mountains and the surrounding areas.My only issue was that all the information was sent via pre-programmed e-mails, and there must have been a hiccup because a couple of days before check-in I received another round of e-mails from the host but for a different set of dates! This led to some confusion, and when I tried to e-mail the host or message them on VRBO I never got a response (even though they did send another automatic e-mail after check-in saying they were available and to e-mail if there were any hiccups). In the end everything went smoothly so it was just a little bit of unexpected stress but I do worry that if there was issues with check-in or something else that getting a hold of the host might be difficult. A pair of phone numbers were also provided for emergencies which I didn't have to use, so perhaps that would work, but I just hope the host is a little more attentive to their e-mails in the future.

Stay with friends

Stayed here with friends for a weekend in summer of 2020. Nice place, lots of bedrooms and open concept living room. Not much grass space outdoors though. Overall nice stay and good spot for larger groups.

House was very clean, updated, and as described in the listing! Great location and quiet from the city. House has a great layout for multiple families and equipped to old our group of 12 for a weekend with zero concerns! Was a great way to relax after a hard/long day, only thing missing was an outdoor hot tub but not a deal breaker as we knew what we were renting when selecting this location for our getaway. The extra fridge, washer and dryer was a bonus! And not gonna lie, it’s not often you rent a house with a pool table that’s still usable and has straight cues, another highlight of mine.

Host was great! We needed a lighter for the wood stove and it was provided immediately. Everything was exactly as expected. Some of the beds are not in great shape. There was one in particular that actually may be broken - it sagged underneath and was impossible to get comfortable. Otherwise, it’s a great location, instructions on what to do and what we needed to bring were very clear. Definitely recommend!

Favourite Spot in Blue!

Our group of friends regularly visit Blue Mountain. This was our favourite cottage. Very spacious, had lots of common areas for all 12 of us to spend time with each other. The property and views were amazing as well. Very clean when arrived. Will be coming back

We had an outstanding experience at the chalet in August 2025. Whatever we needed, everything was there in abundance including the kitchen supplies and beddings. We thought there was bunk bed in one of the bedrooms in the basement but it turns out to be two separate beds of queen and twin size , which worked very well for our family group of 13 adults. There is one full washroom in each level which is great. Location was spectacular, very close to all attractions, check in was very easy, property manager always responded very promptly to any of my questions. It was very clean and cozy. We had wonderful family time there. Will highly recommend this chalet.
