The highlight of this place is all the views. Unobstructed ocean views from every room are what make this room the best in the property. Other great things about it are being within walking distance of great restaurants and a couple of minutes' drive to incredible hikes and beaches. The owner, Mary, was helpful with tips for the area. Accessing the property is simple and convenient; there are no keys to deal with. Coffee & filters were supplied, which is always a bonus, but the nearby coffee shops shouldn't be missed. Oh, and the best pillows! I'm fussy about my pillows and these ones were perfect! The only issues we encountered were a slow-draining shower, which we informed Mary of at checkout. I highly recommend this place and Ucluelet in general.

We Love Ucluelet!

We visit Ucluelet yearly and loved our stay at Black Rock Landing! Staying here is a window to the inlet where we enjoyed watching sea lions, bald eagles, and fishing boats offloading their catch. Hiking and meal experiences at Pluvio and Roar were highlights of this visit. The condo is cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hated to leave and we'll be back!

My wife and I just got married last week. We were looking for something quiet with a great view to stay at for our honeymoon. This place definitely met every criteria that we hoped for! Ukee half marathon getaway

Myself, my Mom and my Sister stayed for an extended weekend. This place is fantastic! Love the views of the inlet, with the troop of sea lions as daily entertainment! It was cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy curling up with a cup of coffee or glass of wine and watching the weather hurl itself against the windows. Even a puzzle with no missing pieces!!

Absolutely fabulous position overlooking the water and the mountains beyond.We were able to see a Seal and bald eagles from the window with the added advantage of being able to walk into town, eat, coffee supermarket etc.I did see a comment about noise which I cannot understand it is so quiet you cannot hear the neighbours and the odd fishing boat from time to time is really not an issue.It is well equipped, always nice to see a supply of coffee and sugar and absolutely everything you could want.Would strongly recommend a walk to Frankie’s for dinner and the best coffee is definitely Foggy Bean Coffee co literally just down the street.Absolutely no negatives whatsoever. Simply the best place in town!

Waterfront Paradise

This was our second time at this property. The perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary. It’s a beautiful space with an amazing view. The quiet, relaxed pace in Uculet set the tone for a relaxing getaway with plenty to do in the area- hiking, kayaking, biking, meandering along the beach…. The property itself was perfectly located within walking distance for a morning coffee at Foggy Bean and one of the most amazing dinners we have ever had at Pluvio. A great island escape.

Beauty in and out

The pictures don’t lie. This place is uniquely designed to take advantage of the beautiful setting. It’s also spacious overall although the kitchen is a little small for two people who may want to cook a lot. But everything required is there, the bathtub is huge, the bed is comfy and there’s an elevator to make it easy to access this third floor unit. Barb was great in dealing with an issue we encountered too. It’s a special place.
