The Villa Boathouse is the most lavish self contained boathouse to be found on the river, commanding expansive mountain and water views from its northern aspect vantage point.

This 2 level boathouse is completely "off grid", but with state of the art technology installed, the boathouse is set up so efficiently you would not know it is an off grid property.

The interior is fresh, coastal and inviting. Amenities include a 55 inch Samsung smart TV, Foxtel, complimentary WIFI, and a Yamaha Bluetooth compatible music system. For further entertainment, choose from our library of DVD'S, books and selection of board games.

The upper level of this original boathouse is fully self-contained and comfortably set up as open plan living. Wall to wall glass stacker doors open up to uninterrupted panoramic views from inside.

The lower level of the Boathouse is a semi underground sandstone room hand built with sandstone boulders into the cliff face, it has a 65 inch Samsung smart TV with Wi fi connection, blue ray/DVD player, mirrored Foxtel from the first floor, pool table and is set up as a pool/games/media room with a covered outdoor area. The area also stores the gas hooded BBQ.

The upper level of the Boathouse contains a double pull out sofa bed, it is available for bookings of more than 2 guests only, by prior arrangement. (surcharge of $50 per person applies to cover linen, consumables etc.

- NOTE -
The main Villa known as “The Villa on Coba Point” is closed off and unoccupied during your stay to ensure complete privacy (unless you have booked that for friends/family. Contact host if this is an option you wish to look into.)

Guests staying at Villa Boathouse have exclusive use of the grounds, the ground floor games room, the gas hooded BBQ, the outdoor fire pit, the grassed area at the waters edge and the 2 adult and 2 kids kayaks.

- Hop on with bags in hand at Kangaroo Point OR Brooklyn public wharf, These are the most common pick up locations, however Hawkesbury water taxi offers a full customized option tailored to suite your needs.
- There is ample unrestricted parking available near both pick up points.
- No need to stress if you cant get away before dark as the fantastic water taxi service travels after sunset!
- taxi travel time to VILLA BOATHOUSE is about 10-15mins

- These tinnie's are an absolute breeze and a blast to drive, Absolutely no previous experience or boat license required!
- Upon arrival you will receive a personalized "how to" boat tutorial by the fantastic team at the Hawkesbury water taxi company.

4 Person Runabout

The most bountiful option of their fleet, perfect to get small groups out on the water. Soft cushioned seats, foldable bimini cover and 4 rod holders will enable you to make your own way to and from "The Villa on Coba Point" or The "Villa Boathouse," explore and fish the Hawkesbury River in comfort. The most cost effective way to experience the river for couples, small groups and small families.

- These tinnie's are an absolute breeze and a blast to drive, Absolutely no previous experience or boat license required!

- Personalized “how to” boat instructions given at the marina prior to your departure and maiden voyage!

- Boat travel to "The Villa on Coba Point" or The "Villa Boathouse" will vary between 30-40 mins depending on the tide with these speed limited options, however the journey is around 15 minutes if you are in a 50hp powered craft.

~ BROOKLYN CENTRAL ~ If you feel a little more need for speed, and are a boat license holder, there 30hp forward steer runabouts will hook you up. Quickly maneuver your way around the waterscape, to maximise your chance of scoring catch of the day, or just to experience the beautiful ecosystem. Soft cushioned seats for comfort, foldable bimini covers for protection from the elements and fishing rod holders give you everything you need to cast and relax, licensed to carry 4 adult passengers, Tohatsu 30hp 2 stroke and Mercury 30hp 4 stroke motors, Forward steering and throttle controls, Dimensions: Length 4.2m Width 1.8m, Foldable bimini cover, 4 fishing rod holders.

~ BOAB BOAT HIRE ~ With Berowra Water’s marina as there launching base and having engine options in excess of 50HP, hirers have easy access to The Villa on Coba Point, secluded beaches, great historical points of interest, an abundance of fishing spots/holes, excellent water-skiing locations and a wide range of restaurants and cafés to suit all budgets. Fish, Sea Eagles, Mud Crabs and Sea planes will all be seen through this majestic waterway system only an hour from the Sydney CBD.

~ LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE YOUR OWN TRAILER BOAT? ~
- We recommend you launch your craft from either Mooney Mooney boat ramp (Deerubin Reserve) or Berowra Waters boat ramp (Dust hole bay boat ramp at 199 bay rd Berowra Waters)
- Boat travel time from either ramp to The Villa on Coba Point with a 60HP is approx 15 min, if you wanted to explore the broken bay region, Cowan Creek, Americas bay, Refuge Bay, Dangar island, Patonga, etc then the travel time would be 20-35min with a 60HP powered boat, But why not take double the time and enjoy the beautiful water way and its amazing things it has to offer.

~ SEA PLANE ~
Book a seaplane from Rose Bay – Arrive in style and fly from Rose Bay directly to the house. Seaplanes are to be booked directly by guests after accommodation is confirmed.

There is no cleaning fee so we do ask you to leave The Villa Boathouse neat and tidy as you found her.

Kindling and firelighters are provided for fire pit under the stars.
Guests BYO easy carry bags of fire wood available at most service stations and at Berowra Waters Marina if hiring a boat from there.

Note that there is no garbage service in the area. The boat access communities such as Coba Point are 'carry supplies in / carry garbage out'. Guests staying at The Villa Boathouse are also requested to take their garbage back to the mainland bins as the locals do.
