This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath townhome is ideally located in the heart of Mammoth Lakes, offering the perfect balance of convenience and a peaceful mountain setting and it’s pet-friendly, so your four-legged companion can join the adventure. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable and inviting living space featuring granite countertops, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, a Smart TV, and beautiful forest and mountain views. The dining area seats six comfortably, with additional seating at the kitchen bar, and the fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed to prepare meals with ease. Downstairs, both bedrooms provide a quiet and private retreat. The primary bedroom features a queen bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom includes two twin beds, while the living room offers a sofa sleeper for additional guests. This home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. A second full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is located in the hallway. The split-level layout ensures added privacy, making it ideal for families or small groups. Located in the desirable Mammoth Estates community, this condo offers an ideal year-round getaway in one of the best locations in town. Just one block from The Village and the Village Gondola, you’ll enjoy easy access to dining, shopping, nightlife and the slopes while still tucked away from the crowds. A convenient shuttle stop located across the street makes getting around town effortless. Whether you're visiting in the winter for skiing and snowboarding or in the summer for hiking, mountain biking, and outdoor adventures, this home is the perfect base for your Mammoth stay. On-site amenities include a year-round hot tub and sauna, recreation room, and laundry facilities. During the summer months, guests can also enjoy the outdoor pool. Your stay also includes complimentary access to Snowcreek Athletic Club & Spa, Mammoth’s premier fitness and recreation facility. Great place to stay. Close to the Village, with shops, bars, restaurants and the gondola that take you up to the slopes. We never used our car, it was great! Place is clean, charming, and quiet. Love the amenities in the complex, like the hot tub and sauna. Place had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Great location for many reasons

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy to book, property mgmt was great. Property was very clean and well appointed. Location was a short walk to the village and a short drive to town. If it's <32° I recommend requesting the heaters are set to a minimum. Check in is 4pm and our heaters were all off so it was unbelievably cold and took a long time to heat up all but the room with twin beds. Walls are a bit thin so bring earplugs in case you have disrespectful neighbors like we did. To be fair it appears most buildings are roughly the same age and likely similarly insulated so not property specific, just a friendly recommendation.

Mammoth Getaway

Clean and well cared for cabin. Each room has its own heater, total bonus. Could use some more lights and parking was a free for all. But those are my only two small complaints. Easy walk to village and gondola. We will definitely be back.

Our Second Home in the Mountains

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Don't I wish! Mammoth Estates is a beautiful development perfectly located between all the best activities and the center of town. The condo (our second stay in this unit) is very clean and super cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed (except the food, of course) to cook our meals and, frankly, I was jealous of the matching glass and dinner ware.The beds are super comfortable with plenty of extra blankets, the bathrooms spotless and stocked with big bottles (not those dinky hotel ones) of soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion, not to mention plenty of towels, TP, etc.Opening the kitchen window and rear sliding glass door let's a perfect breeze through, not to mention the scent of mountain pine trees.There is a beautiful pool and big Jacuzzi and sauna, plus a rec room with ping pong and a pool table (bring quarters) where our kids and their friends got to play pool for the first time. Very nice.Parking is abundant. A stop for the free trolly is a 5-minute walk away to take you and your bikes wherever you want to go, either down the hill into town to shop for groceries, or up the hill to the ski slopes, lakes or hiking trails.This was our second stay at Mammoth Estates and we look forward to making many more wonderful memories there in the years to come.

Dark, dismal, in need of updates

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and the check in was a breeze. Condo is a good size for four people; 6 would be quite tight. The biggest complaint is it is SO dark. Windows only on two sides and lighting insufficient and outdated. The chandeliers had cobwebs and ceiling beams are very dusty. Kitchen is well stocked. If this is what your budget allows then you'll be happy with location; personally I will spend more next time and go somewhere more updated.

Even the walk back from the Village Gondola uphill in ski boots wasn’t too much of a chore. Would stay here again.

Great Location, but...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, walking distance to village and quick 10 minute drive to lakes and other activities. The unit itself is decent, upstairs updated, however downstairs has old carpet and in need of updating. Beds seemed to be older and we found them not to be comfortable. Was warmer and with no AC and not one fan to be found and made it hard to sleep. Master bedroom only had a sliding door with a metal rail, didn't make much sense and did not feel comfortable in leaving it open at night as screen didn't even latch closed. We wound up leaving a day early as the room was over 82 degrees. A couple of fans would do wonders.
